It's become much much more "Gift" than "Thrift" You know how you can buy kids t shirts at old Navy for 5 bucks? You can buy an old Navy T Shirt here too for the same price. They definitely have some cool things available with a bit more vintage choices than most thrift stores.

That thing was at least $200 for whoever bought it brand new! As I continued walking through, they had their electronics along some shelves, dishes on other shelves. I saw some golf clubs and ski's in the back. The TV stands, coffee tables, couches, and sectionals were in great shape!! Of course, I went home today with that cat tower! I was excited to learn that they accept donations!!! As long as it works, they'll take it! So, upon buying a new cat tower, I donated 2 large terrariums!

Sunday, May 17th, I found myself in downtown Auburn, after visiting old town"s vintage and antique pop-up. I walked into the store and thought-wow great merchandising! I walked around for a bit and thought what a great store. It did not seem that there were any employees there. I walked the length of the store (about 5 minutes) and found that there was a young woman at the counter. This person did not greet me, or acknowledge me in any way. They saw me, and obviously heard the click of my boots on the tile floor, they then looked me and went back to clipping their toenails(?) I asked if this was their store. They said "What?" I repeated my question, and they said "no." and I said "It shows because you did not welcome your customers." And she proceeded to say "You are welcome to leave!" And I did. There were three things I would've purchased, (their prices are pretty good), but not on that day and not with that person behind the cash register. I spoke to another shop owner in town and they mentioned that they were saddened by my interaction because apparently the owner is a very customer friendly person. I'll pop in on a day when they are there.
