The shop is relatively small, but it is packed with vintage goodies. Clothes (dresses, boots, coats, jeans etc.), jewelry, stickers, pins, accessories (belts, scarfs, bandanas), and more are curated for the space. The staff that was there was super nice and helpful. The price is comparable to other vintage stores/curated shops so be mindful of that. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Sunday, May 17th, I found myself in downtown Auburn, after visiting old town"s vintage and antique pop-up. I walked into the store and thought-wow great merchandising! I walked around for a bit and thought what a great store. It did not seem that there were any employees there. I walked the length of the store (about 5 minutes) and found that there was a young woman at the counter. This person did not greet me, or acknowledge me in any way. They saw me, and obviously heard the click of my boots on the tile floor, they then looked me and went back to clipping their toenails(?) I asked if this was their store. They said "What?" I repeated my question, and they said "no." and I said "It shows because you did not welcome your customers." And she proceeded to say "You are welcome to leave!" And I did. There were three things I would've purchased, (their prices are pretty good), but not on that day and not with that person behind the cash register. I spoke to another shop owner in town and they mentioned that they were saddened by my interaction because apparently the owner is a very customer friendly person. I'll pop in on a day when they are there.

It was beautiful and warm for autumn. They have classes and I hope to take one. There was a selection of paper ephemera for crafting, home decor, fragrances and more. Definitely worth a visit. But over the last year or so, not so much. They've gotten really picky and the second you pull up someone comes barreling out to "inspect" what you're bringing. They seem to constantly come up with reasons why they won't take something and just generally act like they're doing you a favor rather than the other way around. I get they don't want people dropping off junk, but we always brought decent stuff. Not like we were trying to pawn off a bunch of broken-down garbage on them. If you just want an easy and pleasant donation experience, go to the Goodwill in Auburn. They take all your stuff with a smile and haven't forgotten that they're getting it for FREE so they'll make a profit no matter what they sell it for.

I was welcomed as I walked in. Yay!! They also take donations!! As you walk inside the big open doors, there are bigger furniture items lined up. There are painting and frames on the walls. That thing was at least $200 for whoever bought it brand new! As I continued walking through, they had their electronics along some shelves, dishes on other shelves. I saw some golf clubs and ski's in the back. The TV stands, coffee tables, couches, and sectionals were in great shape!! Of course, I went home today with that cat tower! I was excited to learn that they accept donations!!! As long as it works, they'll take it! So, upon buying a new cat tower, I donated 2 large terrariums!
