The place was extremely crowded. It seems like they have no limit or capacity... I went on a Friday afternoon in the summer. People bumping into you, felt like I was jampacked at a concert. The bathroom is pretty gross and smell smells like dirty diapers seeing as they had five trash cans full of diapers. The baby changing area was very unsanitary. It's pretty much a giant cylinder tank in the middle of a building that you spiral around until you get to the top and see one stingray in a tank with coral.. each floor has little side exhibits with pretty basic fish. I was very disappointed that they only had one jellyfish tank. There were no sharks. The seal show was pretty lame, nothing like the one at Mystic aquarium. I would go to Mystic aquarium over and over and over again. Mystic is by far my favorite aquarium in New England, they actually have sharks and they have some fish that you can actually pet. They have a lot more, including an outdoor exhibit. Overall, I do not recommend going here, especially for the price between parking and entry tickets.

Odiorne Point State Park is a public recreation area that opened in Rye, New Hampshire in July…read more1972. It is administered by the New Hampshire Division of Parks and Recreation. The park is located along the Atlantic seacoast in Rye, not far from Portsmouth. The area is the site of the Pannaway Plantation: the first European settlement in New Hampshire. Settled in 1622, the plantation was completely abandoned by the 1630s when the settlers moved to nearby Strawberry Banke. The land was settled in the mid-1660s by the Odiorne Family, whom the park is now named after. From 1942 to 1947, the park was the home of Fort Dearborn. The ruins of the deactivated World War II-era fort can still be seen today. Today the park is home to hiking trails, bike paths, a playground, picnic areas, pavilions, and a Seacoast Science Center which opened in 1992. My family and I visited Odiorne Point State Park this summer while we were heading to Maine for a summer getaway. We had some time to kill before we could check in to our AirBnb, so we decided to stop at the park. We had fun exploring the grounds and my two sons especially enjoyed playing on the nautical-themed playground. The highlight of the park is the Seacoast Science Center. There are all sorts of exhibits devoted to the conservation of marine and coastal environments. My two sons loved learning about whales, local shellfish populations, the local fishing industry, the fight against ocean pollution, and underwater exploration. There was even a cool gift shop where we picked up a few things. Whether you live in the area or you're just passing through like us, Odiorne Point State Park is a fun place for the whole family!

Sold me a fish earlier this year with epistylis which infected my tank and then died, later…read moreadmitting they were having an active epistylis outbreak (they accept fish from hobbyists but dont quarantine well I guess). Some time later, I special ordered a specific kind of fish, which came in after a long wait, only to have one of the fish deformed - not their fault, but weird kinda judgy vibes gotten from the employee that was helping me that day when I didn't end up wanting them. Placed another special order for the same kind of fish, hopefully not deformed this time, never heard back from them. Last encounter was maybe a month or two back, went in to look for another kind of fish and plants, and was met by a worker who seemed pretty uninterested in being there/helping me. Overall weird vibes here and it's always kind of gross/wet/filthy. I want to like and support the local fish store but honestly I've had better experiences at both pet quarters and petco by the mall (which is a pretty low bar).

My husband and I are so greatful to Ken and his Fish Rescue! We had two Plecos that grew big and…read morefast and outgrew even their quite large home tank. We needed to rehome them and thank God for Ken's Fish Rescue. We called Ken on Sunday and then he came over that very Wednesday early evening and he carefully and professionally helped us to Rescue and Rehome our Fish that we could no longer care for. We highly recommend Ken's Fish Rescue! Look at the before and after photos. Before the Plecos were getting to big to fast for us to properly maintain. Then look at the After photos from when Ken rescued/rehomed them. They are now safe, happy, healthy, and have room to keep growing big in there new home. Thank-you, Ken's Fish Rescue!
