As an Optometrist for 30+ years in private practice with a great deal of technology, this has been my worst experience with a company involved in my field. I've never posted on Yelp prior but my iMatrix experience has compelled me to warn others before they even think of giving any funds to this company. I was paired with a young man who didn't even understand that our office address was not done right on our site, putting our office address and city/state/zip all on one line. He asked me why I wanted it on separate lines...insane to even think he would ask me this. Totally riddled with e-mails from several parties over and over on different tasks with no realistic timetable to achieve these goals. Talked to a different person (when you could get a person) every time I called in and finally just gave up as their service is horrendous. They charged me for the social media package and did not do one thing in almost three months, a total sham. They have no idea of who is doing what and is so frustrating that one just gives up. Beware, use another company for these type of services as it has been an absolute nightmare for our clinic. After I loudly complained, I finally got a call from some sort of manager who was going to bump me back to the $99/mo fee from the $399/mo fee but wanted to ask me a series of question as to why. He had no clue about what we'd gone through, and continue to go through, but wanted to drill me on why I was changing before he would switch fees. Never returned calls, promises never kept, and, they are simply running around with their heads off with no concern about the negative impact it has on their customers. Right now, I left a message yesterday as they took off all of our web images for some reason and we are left with what amounts to a skeleton of a web site. Believe it was when we switched fees from $399/mo to $99/mo and this manager just gutted the look of our site for spite. Honestly, beware of this company fully. She is very knowledgeable and has been very helpful in making suggestions on how to get the most out of my website. If I could give them no stars I would. I was with them for about two years. I started with the basic package. They said it would take about a year to see my website climb in ranking, it never did. Periodically, a sales rep would call to give me a free assessment of my website, the website they created, then tell me it wasn't working so I needed to purchase more services from them. I was suckered into purchasing the next tier package that includes social media posts. Assuring me this is what will help my rankings. They are stock posts, no original content. I didn't see any new clientele coming from social media, and I was strangely receiving frequent emails from their company asking if I'd like to take my account to the next level with their social media package. After almost a year of no return, I found a better deal with another company. More services for less price and in a small business saving money is important. I canceled with iMatrix, and specifically asked if I would be charged in the next billing cycle. They said no. Several weeks later, the charge for $199 came through my account. The same day I got a voicemail from David asking me to call and talk with him about the new company I went with. I've already canceled and moved on and it was a little weird but I returned his call to speak to him about the charge on my account. Darin took my call and was silently reading for several minutes before he put me on hold and another person came on the line, who didn't give me their name. I explained the situation, and he insisted they have a 30 day cancelation policy. I told him that is not what I was told when I called and asked. His tone changed, he got rude and aggressive and assured me that is what their legal department would tell me. I fired back that they need to update their staff on their legal policy because you cant tell a customer one thing and then do another. Also, I am under no contract with this company. No where did I agree to this policy. His anger escalated the situation and his inability to diffuse the situation showed I wasn't going to get anywhere with him so I hung up and called back. This time I spoke to David, I am unsure if he is the same person I spoke with prior, however I asked for documentation of their 30 day cancelation policy. He told me it was all online at imatrix.com/tos (terms of service). When I went to this page there is an error that says the page is moved, removed, or does not exist. This company is fine if you go with their basic package and don't expect much but their sales tactics are sleazy at best, their staff is uninformed, and bottom line they are liars and thieves. read more

I have been disenchanted with Imatrix from day 1.Terrible service, poor product and when I had had enough and wanted to smoothly transfer my web site domain they SHUT IT DOWN, so I had no website!!!!! I agree with some of the previous comments! I have 3 animal hospitals each with a website through Imatrix. Things were good with the website, but as soon as we signed up for the Social Media Package things started to go downhill. Sometimes we had no posts, sometimes double posts and sometimes unrelated articles were posted. I have been trying to cancel for over 9 months and they are still charging us for two of the clinics at $400 each per month. No one will call us back. Every time we call, we are transferred multiple times and end up leaving a message. So far they have overcharged us $2100 for each of the two hospitals that we can't get canceled. read more

We were with ChiroMatrix for years, and then upgraded at the beginning of 2020 to their more premier service that included marketing. They failed us in every way. We wanted our website redone (which they had been hosting all along) and showed them the new website I made, which they copied over, and that was fine. However, when it came to marketing, the landing pages they "created" were simply taken from pages of our website with no new content. The one ad that ran was a landing page I created for ClickFunnels to show them what we wanted. I told them from the beginning we wanted to approve every ad before it was run, yet they ran ads without our permission, including ads for things from our old website we didn't use anymore. We had to put off our video and photo shoots because we were moving in a few weeks. Then COVID hits, and our move got postponed. Everything got postponed. We couldn't reschedule, and never used the video and photo, and they refuse to refund us. They also didn't use all of our marketing budget because we pulled the marketing for until they could write creative and new copy, which they never did, and they won't refund that. They charge way too much, and have no one professional on their staff to actually do any decent work. They set up our website with call tracking, but the call tracking number showed up on the website instead of our office number. When they redesigned the website (they applied a theme, basically) I had to ask them to fix things that were askew and looked bad. They also didn't return calls, they made excuse after excuse. Yet, when it comes time for them to actually give me customer service, they state they are short staffed and to excuse them because they are working from home. STAY FAR AWAY! For the price you'll get nothing but headaches and hassle, and a company that wants to take your money and never live up to promises. read more

If you decide to go with this company read the small print! We signed up for a six month contract that was supposed to end at that time. We noticed that they charged our credit card for an additional month. When we called to bring it to their attention we were told that they automatically charge you monthly until you give them a 30 day notice! We never agreed to this and were never told this! Their tactics are sneaky along with pressured sales that did not produce what they promised. For example, other companies like Care.com or Sunbaket, will send you an email informing you that your contract is up and ask you if you would like to proceed with a month to month plan or extend your contract. Not this company. IMatrix refused to give us our refund and so far has not helped us port our site over to another platform. read more

High Pressure sales tactics, once they "onboard" you and your website is up, communication plummets. Had the Social Media Package, the tracker through the imatrix portal was broken, no credit or anything for that just a "you can check all that through facebook". Our website views have dropped and according to them we need to spend another $700 a month and commit to a 6 month contract to improve our site SEO.... This company has terrible customer service, snarky, defensive reps when you tell them your not happy. They promise a lot to sign you on, then disappear once they have your recurring charges set up. We are having 3 accounts with them for our hospitals. The biggest problem is their poor customer service. We are never get hold of anyone at their business. Imatrix is fragmented and various departments donot talk to each other. Their media department is good nut wbsite design and SEO sucks. Since there is no conatct person who can look after individual business needs. If you write an e mail to them good luck, no one will correspond with you. We never recived our SEO reports and no one call to see how we are ranking? Their invoicing and payment charging is un ethical, since they combined our accounts they are still keep on charging our Visa for other accounts. Let me start off saying that I had great experience with the Website. That being said Imatrix talked me into Social Media Marketing and the only reason I tried it was because they did a great job with the website. Now I am a chiropractor and they posted content that was directed to physical therapy, health magazine, and other health website, not my website. One of the posting was a video how to prevent lower back pain with exercise given by a physical therapist from a physical therapy company site. I felt like i was paying to promote another company. I spoke with Darren which he made me feel inferior to him by speaking to me with internet verbiage which I have never heard before. I felt like I was back at Best Buy talking to the Geek Squad. They did refund my money with no questions but did so after making me feel inferior to him. I will stay with the website but never again will I sign up for the social media marketing. read more

No one will return our call and we are going to have to file a lawsuit. We have been with this company for many years and we were fools to have stayed so long. Unfortunately, we still use Chiromatrix in our office. I'm looking for other systems that are friendlier with updated services. There customer support is anything but. They have a "cards" system for you to send personalized e-mails to your patients. This page is filled with bugs and glitches. The cards would completely disappear mid-typing and I'd lose any work put into the card. That was my first frustration. I'd select a certain number of recipients for the cards, I'd confirm that only the recipients selected were getting the cards sent to, and every time I've used this function the cards sent to our entire patient list instead of the patients selected. Mind you, every time I went to send the card it said "4 recipients" or however many I selected. This is clearly a system error. I called the company about the issue hoping they'd take it seriously. They kept eluding to me sending out the cards wrong, were a bit condescending about all of the problems I was having, (I didn't even mention how you can't edit or delete a queued card before sending even if it hasn't sent, and that they can't help you take it down either...) but said they'd run some tests and figure it out. Well, they never "figured it out" and I never heard back from them. Our patients were spammed with e-mails. They said they'd send out an e-mail explaining what was going on to our patients and that it was a system error. They NEVER did, luckily I noticed so we did. A week went by and I reached out, they said that there was nothing wrong and that I was probably sending the cards out wrong. Well, that's not true and that also doesn't solve the system glitching while typing? Or the archaic system of not being able to stop a queued card from sending even if it's hours before it's to be sent. Also, their "tests" were sending one card to one person and never following up. I asked them if there was nothing else they can do and they never responded. Clearly they do not care about taking care of their customers. Customer service on the phone was rude. All and all this experience was unprofessional and unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend. They have all of these low ratings for a reason. read more

BEWARE OF VETMATRIX. I was a customer for 2 years and received terrible support and an even worse website. I ranked at the bottom of search engine searches in my area because google recognizes all the duplicate content and templates that imatrix/vetmatrix uses. When I contacted them about this issue, they said they wouldn't help me unless I upgraded my package. I don't believe in paying more for bad service. I decided to change website providers which was a wonderful decision. When I called to cancel my service with Imatrix they said they were going to charge me for an additional 12 months of service to cancel. They charged my credit card $935 to cancel service with them. Really recommend not doing business with them. After 2 years of service with them that is wrong! read more

Horrible customer service. No one ever returns phone calls OR emails even though they say that they are there for you at any time with any questions. When you call, you are placed on hold for 20-30 minutes every time, also, before being told that the representative is busy and will call you back. I signed up with them 5 months ago, they took my money, and they never performed services as promised. When you do get to speak with someone, they speak to you as if you are the problem, not the fact that they have not performed ANY services promised. They refuse to refund money, also. Quite frankly I typically refrain from writing reviews, both good and bad mainly due to time restraints. I guess lack of time was why I chose imatrix to handle my web presence needs. I really didn't have to do anything to get set up and running on the web which meant more time for work and life in general. However after three years with no glitches we had a glitch in our system specifically a location and map issue on our website. A glitch I was unable to fix on my own and with a simple text to Brianna the problem was solved. She went above and beyond to get it fixed and even gave me a personal call to make sure I was satisfied with the final product. Having worked within the Walt Disney Corporation for several years my expectation of customer service is very high! Brianna went above those expectations and with the many choices out there to run my website needs that extra little bit of attention to detail and care says a lot about imatrix as a company...their training...management...and of course their employees. I have been happy with iMatrix. Some of the roll out has taken longer than I would like but we were migrating from one site admin company to another, transferring domains and building a new site altogether so it was complicated. We were able to get it done and ours looks very modern. I was able to show them different sites that I've seen and liked and they were able to work from similar templates and modify them to suit my needs. Eunice with iMatrix has been our liaison and she has been awesome. When I send her an email oftentimes within a day or two the website is updated. If I ask a question I typically get an answer by the next day, often sooner. I've read some reviews here that suggest communication with iMatrix is poor but that does not describe my experience. Maybe they have improved their customer service or maybe I was fortunate to be able to work with Eunice. We just upgraded to the Dominator plan and we did a 6 month license so we'll see how that pans out. So far I have been quite happy and would recommend working with them, especially if you can get a 6 month license and negotiate a better fee structure. read more

First off I met Troy at a Veterinary Conference. He offered me a really great deal for their "starter service" and to build me a website. As a new business owner he appreciated my budget and they did a great job with it. A few months later he discussed a larger media package that included making a 90 second video. He said that I only needed to commit for 3 months. This seemed like a no-brainer so we went ahead with it. However, when I tried to cancel the more expensive service (after 9 months) Troy no longer worked there and I was told that I committed to 1 year! I feel like it was a bait and switch and they refused to drop me down although they did drop me to an intermediate package. They promised to set my account to automatically drop to the lower service after the 3 months however the person that I spoke to was also going to be leaving! Staff turnover, to me, is a bad sign. I will have to see what happens. I highly recommend their starter service however make sure that you get any deals IN WRITING. read more

The business I manage has been using iMatrix for the last year and we are very happy. We use them for website support, but not for social media (simply because we have a great social media person in-house!). The new website skin is fantastic! It is 100% responsive and is now so easy to navigate on a mobile device. Most sites shrink to the point that they're unreadable then you have to expand and move around. This fits to the page and gives you everything you need on one screen. The skins are somewhat generic but we use our own photos from the clinic which gives the site a very unique, warm and friendly look. The website is very easy to update, even for those of us with very little experience working on websites. The tech support is great. I always seem to be able to reach someone quickly and they're friendly and helpful. They have given great advice on what we can do with our site to optimize our SEO and we get very good placement, always on the top part of the page. read more

Running a chiropractic office probably has similar issues as running other types of businesses. You may be really good at certain aspects of it but not necessarily so good at others. I love working on patients, doing the administration and even marketing ( one on one to attorneys, businesses, organizations, etc, ), however, I'm not high tech savvy and terrible at computers. ChiroMatrix has helped me and with IMatrix I am now starting to explore social media. In all honesty, I am just starting that aspect but so far it's looking really good. I've been dealing with Ray Fernandez and I reach him every time I call and he keeps on me to make sure I get my part done. I never feel I am rushed and he takes the time to answer all my questions no matter how ridiculous they probably are to someone who knows computers. I called Imatrix after picking up info at a yoga festival in Iowa. At first they contacted me and I declined thinking too much money. They recontacted me last Saturday, February 28 and I decided to have a website built. I paid them on a credit card $270 which was a special for the web built and a $75 fee for March. I was told by Corey a very upbeat friendly woman that we could get the site up in a couple weeks if I made the appointment with onboarding (scheduled for March 13) and answered the questions she would send me and get that in immediately. Well it is March 5 and still no information in my inbox. That may be because I decided to cancel the website. and I did send her an email Monday March 2 to notify her to do so and please credit my card and she has not responded and it is now March 5. No voicemail I discover and no answer to my email. I tried the first rep who called me, Benjamin, did get a voice mail, explained my situation, and no response there. When I try a chat, the yoga link does not work to get someone on chat. Also the chat is presently out of service. I am disputing this on my credit card. But after reading other reviews, sorry I even ventured into this. read more

I was told if I used iMatrix for my spinal rehab clinic I would "dominate" the internet. I pay nearly $1,500 per month and this is the biggest regret to date. My website was like any other website so I had to supply all the content which leads me to believe I could have done this all myself. Social media posts are not related to my field. I haven't even told my patients about our social media pages as I am too embarassed for them to see it. I have sent the company 2 spinal related articles I would like them to post in newsletters (1 month ago) and they still haven't been posted. My website looks "old" and not modern like I wanted. I have asked for them to teach me how to enter into the site as I see simple grammatical errors that I can correct myself instead of waiting around for them to respond back and forth. Too time consuming. I even had a patient call me to tell me how my website looked like any other spinal rehab website. It seems like my emails and phone calls are screened. I've been told I have a "team" of people working for me but doesn't seem that way. I was pressured into signing up immediately as the initial set up installment would be waived. That was a mistake. I have scheduled e-mail blasts that haven't gone out and would think my "team" would be on the ball to double check it went out. I'm with patient's during the day and don't have time to babysit my "website team". This year will cost me $18,000 for the website....SEO words aren't working, we aren't being ranked for our key words in top 100 searches. I understand there is an organic process for this but with the amount of $ I am spending, I would expect to see results immediately. I really thought paying a company to control website and social media would be a big weight off my hands but it is a daily stressor and makes me angry when I think about them. Yes, they have taken time to listen to my concerns, saying they will take action with a, b, c....but next day...nothing changes. I am not sure what other companies are out there but my advice is look for an independent graphic designer and spend your time wisely instead of getting angry over wasted $ - put your energy towards your own individualized posts.
