Reluctant to write this review, but its been enough time and not much has been repaired. Hired Richard and Orlando to do a large retaining wall project and concrete pads on our slope. Project went well, the team showed up and worked diligently, there was more oversight required on my part to ensure the project went according to plan as the stucco color was way off and required fixing. No less than 4 months after the completion a portion of the stucco on the retaining wall popped off. It seemed like a small repair for them and Richard said he'd get it done. After more than a dozen messages back and forth and promises to fix it, he's stopped returning my calls or messages. While waiting for the stucco repair they even poured another concrete pad but haven't done a thing to repair. Honestly surprised they haven't repaired it and completely ignored my calls. read more

San Diego 3D Landscape Design did an outstanding job creating new front steps for my home, based on an idea I sketched of sandstone slabs floating on a concrete base. They removed my old steps and custom-built the new steps, matching the concrete and grout in color and texture to the sandstone slabs. Working with sandstone in the available size meant the slabs had to be carefully cut and in some cases ground down to meet the sidewalk level completely evenly. The result is perfect! Richard oversaw the project, Orlando supervised the onsite work and built the framework, and Panchito, Domingo and others carried out the cement and stone masonry. They've all showed an exceptional attention to detail and made sure I was included in decision-making and happy with the results along the way. They are a great team with an architectural level of design experience and the skills and perfectionism to do a fantastic job. My wife and I chose to work with this company, but unfortunately we were extremely dissatisfied with the service. We gave $2,000 up front for 3D designing and estimates for our front and back yard. We worked with Richard who came to our home and agreed to provide us with a complete design and the estimates within 1 week. We had our appointment the next week, and we received a partial 3D design of our backyard with the front yard completely untouched. He agreed to finish the design including our front yard and to provide the all estimates within the next few days. Unfortunately, he did not follow up with us despite multiple attempts to reach him. Weeks later, he finally got back to us and promised he would have it for us the next day but disappeared for another month. After nearly 3 months of giving $2,000 for an unfinished job, we decided we could no longer work with this company as we lost our time, money and trust. We informed Richard that we would no longer like to work together and asked for a refund. He agreed to send us a refund, but we still have not received it. Again, he does not respond to any phone calls or text messages. We also contacted Orlando about this issue who has failed to provide a response as well. At this point, it is clear that we were scammed by this company as we have lost our money and are constantly ignored. Unfortunately, this will result in filing a complaint and taking legal action for fraudulent business. I would highly advise against working with this company. read more

We installed a pool and San Diego 3D did a total backyard redesign: Pergola, BBQ island, artificial turf, planting, irrigation, patio, lighting, Travertine tile install, etc. I can't say enough superlatives about Richard, Orlando and their crews! They did a great job with everything at a fair price and in a timely manner. We always knew when they were coming, communication was excellent and the workers were incredible! They always cleaned up after every work day and went above and beyond like hand watering the existing plants, bringing in the garbage cans on trash day, etc. I HIGHLY recommend this company!!!!! read more
