This is a father and son operation, and both are friendly and outgoing; they made me feel as though I'd been a customer for a long time. While trimming my hair, the staff suggested a simple styling that actually looked good -- and simplicity is a big deal for me. A mustache and eyebrow trim was offered as part of the deal, and a proper shave of the neck finished things off well. I found Tyler's through the website and decided to stop by today as a walk-in. As soon as I walked through the door I knew I would be a regular customer. From the classic rock music to old-school seating, decoration, and vending machine, this barber shop was a win. I immediately felt relaxed and had a desire to stay off my phone as conversations were lively and involved. Reminiscent of a time gone by, community and real life were the topic of choice. I'll say this, I haven't had a haircut of this high quality at such an affordable price in years. Dave obviously knew what he was doing as he kept me engaged in conversation and expertly cut my hair at the same time. The straight razor neck shave was a very nice touch as well. I arrived a bit early and saw a young fellow about 5 getting a great cut. Dave interacted well with him (I believe he told me he has 3 children of his own). The young man received a lollipop when finished. He was excited and left a happy customer. I really liked Dave's sense of humor and he kept me engaged in conversation during the entire cut. This is where to go if you want a superb haircut and the atmosphere of barbershops gone by. I had only one disappointment, Dave was not able to repair the big bald spot on the back of my head. Other than that, I was a satisfied customer. I will definitely go back.
