They do a great job working us a team and supporting each other to provide each client with great service. They still follow best cleaning practices from Covid. They wipe down every washing, drying, and styling station after each guest. They don't allow people to bring in large bags and food but they do provide each guest with a beverage and snack. When I called to see if they took walk-ins, they got me squared away. The barber even told me that there was a spot right across the street in front of the restaurant. When I walked in the door, the barber did a double take. I asked if it was because he didn't expect this head, or that I was literally around the corner when I called. He laughed me off and told me to grab a seat. The haircut is top-notch, in my conversation I found out that they've been cutting hair at this location since 1990. Prior to that, they were across the street. You know you they're top notch, because if they weren't, people wouldn't be coming back. That's a testament to how good they are. Typical barber shop conversation, talking about current events with speculations for how some things were happening. We had a few laughs at the expense of those in the headlines and for 20 minutes, it was cool to be with the guys and just BS. Family friendly shop with profanity not tolerated.

From the classic rock music to old-school seating, decoration, and vending machine, this barber shop was a win. I arrived a bit early and saw a young fellow about 5 getting a great cut. Dave interacted well with him (I believe he told me he has 3 children of his own). The young man received a lollipop when finished. He was excited and left a happy customer. I really liked Dave's sense of humor and he kept me engaged in conversation during the entire cut. This is where to go if you want a superb haircut and the atmosphere of barbershops gone by. I had only one disappointment, Dave was not able to repair the big bald spot on the back of my head. Other than that, I was a satisfied customer. I will definitely go back.
