I went here for a sinus infection. The receptionist was very friendly. The whole staff was friendly actually. I saw the nurse practioner who was very professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. You can tell they are short staffed. The room wasn't as clean as it should have been (banage wrapper and used alcohol pad on the floor) and not stocked. The poor nurse had to go get more bandages. read more

This place was absolutely horrible. I came in before the Christmas holidays trying to get a physical for simple DOT physical for the US Coast Guard. You have a form already filled for them to review. Usually takes about 15 minutes. The doctor came out and spoke to me and said that they had had problems in the past with the form being rejected. It needs to be reviewed by nurse practitioner or a medical doctor the only reason that I can see that it would come back is that they don't have the appropriate credentials. After waiting on a waiting list for four hours to even REGISTER (!?!) I was turned away. Horrible business practices and questionable credentials. read more

I went to this urgent care due to the proximity to my house. I was a little leery based on the previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. They got me back in a timely manner and I was immediately attended to by a nurse. The doctor (Dr. O'Mara) came in quickly as well and discussed my case. He was very thorough and had an excellent bedside manner. They were concerned about a blood clot so he wanted me to go to the ER for further testing. He called ahead so that I didn't have to wait once I reached the ER and sent me with paperwork describing what he had found. He even called to check in on me the next day to make sure everything had gone ok! The entire staff was amazing and I will definitely be using this urgent care in the future! read more

Their name couldn't be further from the truth. Arrived at 10 am for a covid test, asked how long it would be, I was told "I have no idea". Had to pay my copay and have a seat. Got fed up at 3:25 pm. Asked for my refund, and left. Problem was I was only seeing 1 person processed an hour. Everyone I spoke with was there for Covid testing. It wasn't busy, just backed up because they weren't getting people treated. Drove to Robertsdale and was done in 20 minutes. I'll never go back to Immediate Care. read more

Had to go here today after 4 days of bad sinus and double ear infections I got while in texas..it seems like it was a long wait about an hour to get to the back then another hour to see a dr..about 20 mins after that to get 2 shots..of course its shorter than waiting in er but if you are sick it seems forever.. drs are nice and seem thorough. Brought my daughter here to have her bad phlegm cough checked out. We have United Healthcare insurance. They tried to verify on the computer and couldn't because they are supposed to call in for verification. So she charged us $75 copay with no verification. Well I did the call to our insurance while waiting and the lady from our insurance said they are not supposed to collect a copay. That services are covered and that if there is any charges after deducting and discounting than they can bill. The girl behind the counter heard all of this on the phone because I brought the phone to the counter for her to hear. When the insurance lady hung up and I asked how they were going to handle this she said "exactly how we have" which was charging me a $75 copay that is not even required per my insurance and an over payment. Doubt we will see any refunds. Also a nasty front desk lady came out to tell me my daughter was back in the room crying for me and was saying in a way like I was wrong to be out there questioning their operations. I am completely turned off from this place and will never return. So be it! We will find a nicer and better urgent care near us. I went there with covid symptoms and was told it would be $150 for covid test. She said I had a high deductible. I said I don't have that kind of money and they pretty much said ok nothing we can do about it. I walked out went to my car called BCBS and not one but 2 ppl told me that my covid testing and office was covered at 100% !! I went to Baldwin Regional Urgent care in Gulf Shores, and had no problems. They did the test NO CHARGE. I asked them if there was a charge and they said insurance or no insurance covid testing is free!!! read more

My daughter broke her ankle at the soccer tournament in Foley and this was the closet place for an X-ray. I will say, as a RN with 25 years of ER experience, this place is a gem. Dr. Weipert was amazing. Great bedside manner and very caring approach, not to mention, he's a Navy doc as well and was very knowledgeable. Derey, the X-ray tech, was absolutely precious. She has the sweetest, most caring personality and really made us feel at home. My daughter received excellent care. She was placed in an OCL stirrup splint, and the visit was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area in need of urgent care. It was also a plus because they bill as a primary care, not an urgent care, so the copay was literally half of what it would be if we had gone to American Family Care. Flu season is back, so of course I got sick. I took a test and had to wait 30 MINS it was way longer than that. There were 4 doctors/nurses and it was BUSY, but I feel like they could take more time with their patients and not giggling and laughing with each other. I was waiting for at least 3 hours in the waiting room and finally got called, I got tested for Covid, Flu, and strep throat. They were really nice but I wish it could've been faster, I was starving at that point i was about to walk out. I do not recommend this place. Thank you for reading my reveiw. read more

If I could give a negative 4 star I would. You really should not be called "Immediate" Care. One other person in waiting room before I got there. Took an hour before I filled out an intake form only because they called the person who came in after me was called to the desk. They totally forgot I was there. 20 minutes later go to a room, 20 minutes later nurse comes in for vitals, 20 minutes later nurse practitioner, 20 minutes later doctor, 20 minutes later discharged. Sitting over at the pharmacy over an hour after I was discharged and the prescription was not sent over, an issue with the system apparently. "Immediate" how about "Take our time", or "In no rush", "Hope you brought something to do while you wait..." read more

I went to this clinic in a Saturday to be tested for covid based on symptoms and my son testing positive. They indicated they could not treat my symptoms because I could not recall the eye drop I'm allergic until I found the name and indicated to call back and they'll send an Rx to pharmacy. I called back on Monday and was transferred but had to leave a voicemail. After no one called me back for 2 days, I called again and the person that answered said she'd personally let them know and still I heard nothing. Until the bill arrived. I have a high deductible plan without copay but they required I put a deposit down. My health insurance should've covered the visit but since they didn't code correctly (based on what my insurance stated), and they wanted the most money out of me, they refuse to respond to my inquiring calls seeking clarification and request to resubmit. read more

I have been reading other reviews and dont understand the different ratings. I've been there twice. The last time was yesterday (4/20/22). Both times I considered my treatment good. I was taken care of in a timely fashion and treated well. I have no complaints whatsoever. I made a 3:30 appointment for a B12 shot, nothing more. I waited 1 1/2 hours it was almost 4:30 and I finally gave up, asked for my money back, and left. While they may be somewhat busy it's no busier than a regular Dr. office. It's not the staff's fault, Immediate care will not hire more staff. To cheap. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

It made me cringe having to give this place a 1 star review because they don't even deserve that. This is the second (and last) time I have made the mistake of going here. Undoubtedly the worst urgent care I've ever been to. You will wait at least 2 hrs. (My personal average wait time here is 2 1/2 hrs so I'm still probably under estimating) Please, for the love of God and your health, go anywhere else, like go see the medicine woman in the woods before you come here. Everything from online to the info on their door said they close at 8 pm. Walked up to doors at 7:54 and they didn't open. Lady on other side of glass just kept mouthing they were closed. So much for providing health care, just health care as long as they can leave at 8. I'm a health care provider as well and that's not a job that has a time limit. read more

I presented to the clinic with an upper respiratory cold, sinus and ear pain. Within 10 minutes I was in an exam room. The front desk, the nurse, and Nurse Practitioner who treated me were all very nice and friendly. I was in and out within 30 minutes with the necessary prescriptions.
