We wanted to try a "Original St. Louis Style Pizza" since they advertise their thin, crispy, and crunchy crust. I quite enjoyed the pizza overall as the toppings compliment the thin crust compliments quite well. The SO who only loves fluffy crust wasn't the biggest fan but rated the pizza well overall still. Ordered a large deluxe pizza from this location for delivery,, because it had been a while for me ordering from there. Add double cheese and bacon. The price was almost 34 dollars with 5 dollars delivery fee and just over 3 dollars tax. So we are looking at almost a 40 dollar large pizza. It arrives early so no complaint there. But I open the box to later figure out that Imos now puts sausage crumbles (very tiny tiny pieces) on their pizzas, but call it a deluxe pizza. For close to fourty dollars this is such a ripoff that it's scary. You are getting what amounts to a bacon and vegi pizza. So I did call is and talk about it and wad told that Corporate handed down the instructions to skimp on the meat toppings. So Corporate has decided to cheat on their ingredients, and then charge you lots more money? Way to do a ROBBERY Imos... There are SIX OTHER pizza makers my area. Me and my boyfriend normally go to this location and everything is great but this time was terrible. I believe her name was Keira and she gave the worst customer service I've had in a very long time. She was unbelievably rude. Not that it makes a difference but I won't be going to this location anytime soon. The customer service at this place is lacking, which makes me never want to visit again. The stars given are because of the taste of the food, which my husband loves. I could find good pizza with better service elsewhere. I called in an order for a pizza tonight. The man on the phone was pleasant, but the young lady at the drive-in window was very rude. The inside was closed so we had to get our pizza from the drive-thru. The young lady came to the window and asked what we needed in a very monotone voice. My husband told her we called in an order and before he could even finish telling her our order, she walked off from the window. A guy came to give us the pizza. We paid and she told my husband he had to sign the receipt. Again, she said this very monotone and her body language gave off a very bad impression. I understand that working at night is not ideal for some, but if you choose to go to work, do your job to the level that your company expects from you. This was my first time visiting this location of Imo's and it will most likely be my last. I cannot recommend this location. Maybe try another if you're craving Imo's. read more

Came home from work starving 28Aug and thought the xtra large two topping coupon for imos would be magnificent choice. After entering my coupon code and the two perfect topping of hamburger and bacon (bacon cheeseburger pie) and began waiting for delivery. Upon arrival, the driver said the ticket blew out the window, which I didn't think too much of at the time but I made sure he know I left a tip when I ordered . Upon opening the pizza, I was extremely disappointed to see it was a plain cheese pizza. I went to grab my phone which to my dismay had a missed call from imos, stating that they saw the toppings did not go through and which did I want? I was too hangry to mess with it that night so the very next day I called and finally spoke to "manager" Josh who refused to provide me with any restitution or helpfulness at all.. He was rude also, trying to infer it was my error. So I asked if its policy to call and verify EVERY plain cheese pizza that gets ordered?" NO ! Bc I used a damn two topping coupon so they knew something was wrong, hence the phone call they made. Never had this place but heard it was really good, after a long drive back from Iowa thought I'd have this to take to the hotel, got the pizza and provel bites, sat in my car and opened the box and tried both, the cheese tasted very skunky to me and it wasn't able to eat so I took it back in and asked about it, they looked at me and said it's supposed to taste that way. This Imos will swipe your card twice for a single purchase and give you the run around about getting your money back. Its very inconvenient to have to drive back and forth to the restaurant talking to managers over the phone who seem to not care about how much of a inconvenience it is for you to waste gas traveling back to the store, printing out bank account information and using your printer paper and ink to show verification to them that you were charged twice for one order. Then they wont even offer you a free drink or courtesy meal for your inconvenience. If you are military and use USAA they say that there system does this all the time so I would advise all military personnel that use USAA not to swipe your card at this Imos unless you have time, gas, paper, and a printer and ink to waste trying to fix their error!!! read more

This place is a joke I called for a small pizza and a sandwich. I'm a over the road truck driver. I'm parked at Walmart not to far from IMO's so the girl on the phone asked me if I work at Walmart. I told her no. So she says hold on I have to check with my manager on this. So she gets back on and tells me they can not deliver to me at a parking lot it's not safe for there driver I said not safe there is lights and plus video cameras. It safer than your parking lot. So she ask if I want to talk to the manager. Yes put them on !! So I tell him pretty much the same well he try's to tell me it's policy but what gets me is if I worked for Walmart I think they would have delivered. And if your going to be scared for your drivers like that you should not deliver to any place. And wow this place has a lot of bad reviews. Maybe it's a good thing you didn't want my money !! They had my bank info my phone number the color of my rig. But they were scared for there delivery driver. Now I can see if they didn't have any info. I love me some cardboard thin crust pizza! The pizza has just the right taste of spices and cheese. Most the time we ordered and took the pizza with us. A few times we ate at the restaurant. I'm not the type to review a chain restaurant, but when asking locals the best place to get St. Louis style pizza Imo's kept coming up. It was more like "Imo's is the best, but it's a chain. A, B, and C are good but don't compare to Imo's." Sold!! The restaurant was close to the interstate and easy for us to find. For a Sunday afternoon we were surprised to see an empty restaurant. We were going to order a medium cheese pizza but quickly decided on a large. The helpful cashier told us that they had an XL one topping as a special that was cheaper than the large. We got that with onions. I decided I wanted toasted ravioli as well because when in St. Louis... They had a bunch of lunch specials (you can have them on weekends!) and one was ravioli (8ish), sauce, side salad, and a drink for something like $7. This was cheaper than the appetizer ravioli and included a drink. We got the salad with Imo's Italian. The salad came out first. It was surprisingly big enough for two. The ravioli was a huge order and they were perfectly cooked. We paced ourselves for the pizza. And it didn't disappoint. I make a St. Louis style crust at home but don't have Provel cheese so I was looking forward to that. It's not for everyone but it's for me. We are looking forward to being back in St. Louis soon and will be stopping by an Imo's again. read more

Pizza maker was scratching his hair right next to the pizza make table. Then he was using his cell phone. Then he reached into one if the food containers that hold the pizza toppings, put them in his mouth and continued to talk while he had food in his mouth while the other man was making pizzas! We had already ordered and seeing this happen, we cancelled our order and told the manager. We received our money with no problem but we will never eat at that Imo's. Imo's has the best vegetarian pizza I've had yet. If you have a pulse you will like Imo's pizza. The Provel cheese and cracker crust make this a one-of-a-kind experience that everyone must try. They also feature a very tasty salad with the same cheese, and an awesome house dressing-not to mention the St. Louis favorite- toasted raviolis. I never ate at this Imo's and it was my first time. I've eaten at 4 different Imo's and my favorite one is in Belleville. After this experience, i'm sure all Imo's aren't created equal. To start with, the person who answered my call was somewhat rude to me when asking for my information, Secondly,i was on their web site reading the menu and it said there were 2 liters to purchase and the lady told me that there were none (at 4pm on a Monday? Who runs out of 2 liter soda at a Imo's?) The price of the food and delivery was the last straw. The pizza was twenty one dollars with a ten dollar delivery fee and two dollars and change in tax. (about 36 bucks). Went on line to Domino's and also called them and was able to get MORE than what Imo's offered FOR TEN DOLLARS LESS and better customer service as well. DO NOT EAT HERE. GO to a Imo's in Missouri or the location on west main in Bellevile. Take my word on this one . Or just get Domino's and come out cheaper!!!! read more
