I kept seeing the advertisement for their new sandwich, "CrunchImo" on TV. Then a direct mail piece arrived in my mail. So when I needed lunch on, Super Bowl Sunday, I ordered one. I ordered the Double Pepperoni and a Half Deluxe Salad with Imo's House Dressing. OMG - it was a perfect lite lunch. My Crunchimo was crispy and full of pepperoni. It has a good crunch when I bit into it and was full of flavor. Dipping in the marinara, before a bite added an extra kick of flavor. Their Deluxe Salad may be made with iceberg lettuce, but the combination of, black olives, pepperoni, provel cheese and Imo's house dressing, makes it a meal within itself. The staff here is always professional. I typically order on line for my rewards squares and pick-up inside the restaurant. When I arrive, they welcome me and make friendly conversation. read more

Every IMOs that I've ordered from in the STL area is guilty of serving brown lettuce and the Godfrey location is no exception. Do they fill the salad containers with lettuce to prep and the lettuce goes bad? That's the only explanation unless the staff really don't care. Besides the slimy discolored lettuce some of the cheese was dry like it wasn't stored in an airtight container. I also always pay for extra cheese and never get it. I wont order delivery from this restaurant again. Giving 2 stars because delivery is quick and the food is tasty when it's prepared correctly. read more

IMO's pizza is a love-it-or-hate-it affair. IMO's is one of those political topics that will get you uninvited from family gatherings. I don't care because if you hate it, you are dead to me! I love IMO's pizza, and bacon is the perfect pairing with the glue that is provel. I've recently discovered their CinnIMOs, and I'm hooked like a cocaine bear. T-ravs are great. Salads are great. Wings are great. When someone visits from out of state, I find a way to foist IMOs onto them at some point, and those with discerning palates love it. This is the Imo's closest to my house and we've ordered many times over the last 6 years. I'm shocked to see that the reviews are pretty poor. We've had nothing but decent pizza & good service over the years. I appreciate that they'll often close during very inclement weather - you have to respect a family owned place that values their employees safety The establish itself is smaller inside than some other Imo's locations - I wouldn't recommend it for a very large group. They have a decent rewards program & often send coupons for free / discount items, especially if it's been a while since you've ordered. read more

In fact I also got garlic cheese bread and these little cheese balls and my family and I didn't really like any of it. This is my first time back since a fire destroyed the restaurant. The pizza hasn't changed. It still as good as it was before the fire. They rebuilt the restaurant with a Imos standard design. Personally, I liked the old décor better. It had more of a home town feel to it. The new format reminds me of a subway. I was also disappointed to see they changed from Pepsi to Coke. read more

I'm giving them two stars because the girl on the phone was very friendly and the pizza was delivered to our hotel very quickly. Everything was hot but there were no napkins, plates and only one fork. We've ordered food to hotels many times before and received those items. The salad was actually ok, large for a small. The croutons were crunchy. It was edible. The cheesy garlic bread had a cheeselike substance on it but not cheese. Nasty. The pizza was the worst I've ever tried to eat. I ate one small piece. We put all the food in the garbage and bought ice cream bars from the hotel snack bar. We're from Chicago where great pizza is the norm and they use mozzarella cheese, real cheese. I'm a native of Chicago and I absolutely love Imo's pizza! Imo's outside the box thinking has really paid off. Chicago clearly has the best baseball team, but St Louis might have the better pizza. If you haven't tried Imo's, you owe it to yourself to give it a shot. The only negative I have is that it took 15 minutes longer to get my food than the original 25 minutes I was told. But, I'd rather wait on excellent food than have average food served promptly. Poor management and poor communication towers over the good food. My online order said it was ready but I had to wait twenty minutes without anyone saying a word until I spoke up about my food. This place was not that busy, we arrived close to 12:30. The tables were dirty and we had to ask to have one cleaned off. The food (pizza & breadsticks) were good; however every employee was very dirty in their appearance. Imo's in Godfrey is a family establishment with very friendly management. I used to frequent the restaurant during my lunch break, and the manager would give my group free dessert pizzas for being regulars. I still have an Imo's Lunch Club card somewhere that is one punch away from a free lunch. The pizza is St. Louis style - basically a saltine cracker with "cheese" and toppings. It's an acquired taste for sure, very different from standard thin crust pizza. read more

Food was cold and burnt and pizza was uncut ... called back and manager was helpful but called to asked about pending charges and person on the phone was very rude and unhelpful we will not be ordering from there again!! I love Imo's food! This place was my first job when I was 15 and I loved working there! However, over the last couple years the customer service has gone down the drain. Their deliveries take over an hour every time, no matter the time of day and when I call to check on my order after the first hour has passed, they say, "well tings are going kinda slow around here because of the weather. It'll get to you eventually." the guy didn't even ask what my name was or what my order was. And the weather, I didn't know clouds in the sky on a Sat afternoon could delay a delivery. Sunday July 5th 5:30pm - Only 2 people eating inside. The 5 person staff I saw had no orders to fill. They were mostly standing around talking with 1 guy occasionally filling the box slots. I order a Lasagna, a Cannelloni and a Large Salad. Waited 20min. Drove home in less than 8 minutes. Cannelloni was cold - not tepid but Cold. Even the sauce was cold. The Lasagna was so hot I couldn't carry it. Salad had 1 extremely small thin slice of tomato. Generally the food is good, but having to re-heat the Cannelloni should not have happened especially after the 20 min. wait and shelling out $21.00 with no Drinks! I will go back, but only if they are busy and my pocketbook is full. read more

This was a delivery order that I placed online. It came in a timely manner. If you're a fan of IMOs pizza, the pizza was fine. Came hot. I also order 2 sandwiches ... a meatball sandwich and an IMOs Extra Special ... both hot. The meatball sandwich was also fine. I had put special instructions on the Extra Special to please not put the vegetables on until AFTER cooking the sandwich and if they couldn't do that then please send the sandwich cold. Unfortunately, they either didn't see the request or forgot, because the lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle were obviously cooked. I tried to pick it off, but the lettuce had adhered to the meat. The tomato had turned into complete mush. It was pretty gross and we ended just throwing it out. So overall I had 2 good things and 1 really bad thing. read more

Why do I keep trying? My orders are always 20 min past the delivery time presented, and on more than one occasion my order has been wrong. From getting the wrong toppings, to completely forgetting an item, and even delivering to the wrong house (pretty sure that time the delivery kid was stoned-which I'm fine with if you're NOT ON THE CLOCK). This location is the absolute worst. Even now I'm waiting over 20 min past the delivery time, again. Next time, I'm just going to make my own pizza. It'll be quicker and probably taste better. had eye appt in godfrey and on the way home i stopped at caseys for a pizza to go. they had not started making pizzas yet so i found an imos and ordered a large deluxe. the large is about the size of a med at pizza hut, the crust was tough and too thin. i would compare this pizza to be about as good as jacks that you can buy at any store for $3.00. read more
