13- BRONX BOMBER with NO White Onions or Mushrooms

The perfect pizza size for two people (13'')! Felt like I never wasn't eating, the pizza was very good. Easy to fold too! The sausage was interesting, more disc like instead of crumbled, and I loved it! Tasted more meaty. Having two veggies and two meats really balanced the flavor well. Halfway through our dinner, the lights were dimming and turning back on until finally it stayed dim and I enjoyed the ambiance.

Dewey's pizza is the best place in Edwardsville to go for pizza! No competition. What I ordered: we got half of the Socrates revenge and half veggie. The pizza is prepared so well. The toppings are always even and plentiful. My favorite things about their pizza are the sauce and the crust. The sauce is never overwhelming and the crust tastes just like yummy breadsticks. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the harvest salad I ordered was a bit of a disappointment. To be fair, I asked for no bacon, but I ask for no meat everywhere I go and the salad still normally fills me up. This one did not.

Burnt and not edible 23.00 pizza and can't get a refund. Terrible customer service. Won't ever get my business again.

Delicious pizza. Well worth it! We ended up getting more than we needed, but the left overs were perfect for the rest of our trip.

I got there around 2:18 p.m. (they close at 3), so they were sold out of most of their selection. Luckily, I was still able to grab a dairy-free chocolate chip cookie and a lemon blueberry truffle. If I hadn't known the cookie was dairy-free, I never would have guessed. While I usually prefer a softer cookie, this one had a nice balance--a slightly soft center with just a bit of crunch around the edges. I wouldn't have minded a few more chocolate chips, but it was still satisfying. The lemon blueberry truffle, however, was the standout. It was absolutely delicious. The attendant mentioned they come frozen and that most people actually prefer them that way. After trying it, I can see why. The first bite reminded me of the blueberry cake donut from Kwik Trip, but with a bright hint of lemon that made it even better. Overall, both treats definitely hit the spot. Next time, I'll be sure to get there earlier so I can choose from the full selection!

One thing to keep in mind is timing--it can get pretty crowded during peak dinner hours, especially on weekends, so plan accordingly. The pizza leans toward a New York-style crust but with a gourmet twist. It stands out from your typical pizza spot thanks to its unique topping combinations and quality ingredients. Everything is always fresh and full of flavor. The salads are also worth mentioning, with solid options and seasonal specials that change things up. The atmosphere is clean and casual, making it a comfortable place to dine in whether you're with family or friends. Service has always been friendly and consistent. If I had to point out one downside, it would be that prices are a bit higher than your average pizza place--but the quality and overall experience make it worth it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Dewey's if you're looking for something a little different from the usual pizza options. It's a reliable spot in the St. Charles area and one we've kept coming back to over the years.

I'll be up front and disclose that I AM NOT A SALAD PERSON. The closest form of a salad that I eat would be a chicken Caesar wrap laden with dressing and cheese and carbs with probably 2000 calories. That said, boy was my elote salad at Neon Greens enjoyable. It is a lil pricey but worth it once I dug in and really enjoyed myself and learned more about the shop and their mission. They grow everything themselves - so cool. I love the friendly employees and the really really fresh greens and combinations. I got the cheese bread but was really close to ordering the soup instead. You walk into this older building and it just opens up into this bright, clean, almost energizing space . I went with the Umami Crunch with tofu and... yeah, this is the kind of place that makes you realize how rare a really good salad is. Like, when do you ever eat a salad and think, "the lettuce is incredible"? That happened here. Everything tasted fresh in a way that's hard to explain unless you've had it. And then you find out why--they literally have a hydroponic farm attached. Not just for show either... they do tours, and a lot of what you're eating is coming straight from there. It makes the whole experience feel different in the best way. The portions are huge, super filling, and still somehow feel light and clean. I also grabbed a local blue spirulina kombucha that ended up being one of the best I've had. If you keep wandering toward the back, it turns into this almost maze-like space, and on weekends they do a pop-up called Biscuit Town with breakfast items (including vegan options). It just keeps going. Honestly, I walked in craving a REALLY good salad and left wondering why it's so hard to find places like this. This is one of those spots you go to once and immediately know you'll be back.

When I saw they had hot honey and pepperoni paired together on a 8" pizza, I instantly knew that was one of my choices. The fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheeses paired with the hot honey and pepperoni exploded with flavor. My only disappointment was the inner crust. The outer rim crust was very crispy, but the inner was soft and limp due to the excessive grease from the flavorful pepperoni. I guess that is something I just need to deal with for a tasty lunch pizza. My other choice was, the Apple Gorgonzola Salad. Wow. Double Wow! This has to be the best salad I have ever had. It was a delightful mix of, spinach, granny smith apple, gorgonzola, sun-dried cranberries, candied pecans, all topped with a delicious maple cider vinaigrette. I will be back for the large version and a glass of Pino Grigio as a dinner. As my usual, I sat at the bar. My adult beverage of choice, was a Peel Summer Lager. I may be going back to fill my growler, for the upcoming holiday weekend. The restaurant has a contemporary feel, but the acoustics make it a loud environment. I didn't mind the laughter and loud conversations, it was the yelling and crying toddlers that made me cringe. Service was friendly and attentive. I enjoyed watching the bartenders use their mixologist skills preparing all the cocktails. It pleased me to see they offer "hooks under the bar". That's a small detail that makes me smile.
