Tony was very responsive to my needs and listened to me about what I was looking for. We discussed several options, pricing, and expectations before settling on a MoCA network - something I wasn't even aware existed until he brought it up. Since I had already cut the cord from Spectrum, had existing coaxial wiring, had installed a HDTV antenna in the attic, and my home was a 2-story home, it made the most sense. I did some research and hooked the antenna up to an Amazon Fire Recast to free up more coaxial connections for later MoCA use. Tony provided some equipment options but recommended we use my existing wireless routers before spending more money - awesome news to hear! His installer, Eric, arrived on time and stayed until the job was done. Eric even worked to make the system a clean looking install and made a new connection closer to one of the desks for us. We did have one adapter fail after a few days (defective unit) but Tony brought out the new adapter personally and stayed to ensure it worked correctly. The price was reasonable and the results are exactly what I was looking for. I'll definitely call Tony back for any of my future home entertainment needs!

Marvin called me back within minutes and fit me into his tight schedule knowing I had renters arriving soon with the 50 inch TV flat screen not working. He quickly diagnosed the problem. He said one of your renters broke the Roku remote. Unfortunately, we had no time to order a newcone. He left. purchased a new TV set nearby with my approval and installed it all within 2 hours! He also checked the operation of the other two flat screens we had in other areas of the home. Marvin is also a wiz with the computer software downloads and applications. I set the passwords on the TV a year ago and couldn't remember them. He said, pull out your laptop, and he guided me through several applications where I could find the password I set. He then reinstalled our Roku Account, Spectrum account, Netflix Premium and PBS with all our passwords. He checked the other two TV sets to make sure everything was still operational after the set up. Lastly, Marvin put the 1 year old TV set that was still working in the new TV box and placed it under the bed so we can have it for future use. He suggested it would be good to have a couple of remotes as backups because he sees this all the time. It will break in the remotes by depressing the button too hard and too long and it freezes the TV set and it breaks the remote. Without question I recommend Audio Video Helpers.

He mounted it on the wall, ran the proper HDMI cables for a great 4K experience and calibrated the tv and audio equipment so that we got the full benefit from our sound system to the tv. I could not have done this myself. He has the correct equipment to do a professional installation which we have never experienced before. He also dressed up all of our cables and ran them through the wall for a clean, seamless look so that all we see on our wall is the Samsung tv and its great 4K picture.     So I was looking for an A/V company to mount a TV which I planned to buy from Best Buy. Looked up…read morelocal companies and came across Addison. Talked to them and they came out and gave me an estimate.....come to find out he is a dealer for Samsung and I could buy the TV from him for the same cost. Bought the TV and a new receiver from him. He installed it with a wall mount, hid the wires, installed my old TV in my office along with my PS4 and Apple TV. Hooked up my new TV with a new Yamaha receiver which he is also a dealer for, recalibrated my surround sound and his work was flawless! Couldn't be more happier with the install and the results! My surround sound is 100 times better and the picture quality is great! He does video surveillance systems too and we will be using him for a new camera system for the house!

On February 28th, a very professional tech…read moreshowed up at 9:30am and after a very long day our home system was installed and ready to go. The tech was professional and very thorough. A month later, our systems signal is getting weaker so I called in and they told me they were sending a bridge and if I continue to experience issues to call back. System rebooted. I called in a few hours later on the same day, because the system was very weak and I couldn't speak using the doorbell speaker. System rebooted. I was told they were going to send a technician with the bridge. An appointment was set for a Tuesday, March 27 which I had to take time off from work to be able to available and the tech didn't show. No call, nothing. I call in and I was told it was a scheduling department issue and they will call me the following day. The following day, no call. I called in two days later to find out what happened and I was told the tech cancelled the appointment and they are sorry. The the customer service rep tried to help and with the help of the scheduling department, they set up another appointment for today, Saturday April 14th. Once again I take time off and guess what?? No one showed up!! I confirmed the appt via email. This is the second time, a tech hasn't shown up or called. No communication from Vivint. Why do I even have this system?? I pay for a system they can't get their things in order!!! After getting an earful from me, because I am extremely disappointed and upset with the lack of service, another appointment was set. We shall see if Vivint will show. A very upset customer.

    I contacted this company about an ongoing issue with my security system and was advised to upgrade…read moreto fix it. I agreed, but the upgrade did not resolve the problem. I returned the equipment as instructed since it was unnecessary and not functioning as promised. Despite this, the company refused to issue a refund or cancel my service, claiming I am still bound to a 5-year contract--even though the equipment was returned and the issue remains unresolved. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly, but they would not work with me. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend based on their lack of accountability and unwillingness to resolve a legitimate issue.
