This…read morehappened on multiple occasions and the judge even openly said he was annoyed with our lawyer. We had to flag her down in a different court room because she wasn't around in our court room when the judge called. Other lawyers in the court building carried papers containing details of their cases. Ms. Scheiber didn't know the details of our case while representing us. The judge even commented on this and wondered why our lawyer didn't seem to know significant details of our case. She would walk into the court room with her hands empty, going from court room to court room in this manner, "representing" multiple clients at the same time. She clearly did minimal work in her legal services. Outside the court room she even said it didn't matter to her which side won while speaking with the opposite side. It's all the same to Ms. Scheiber how the case turned out. When asked about her inability to serve in the court room, she said she wasn't just representing us but had to deal with multiple clients, using this as an excuse for her poor performance. It's not an excuse. She needs to take on fewer clients if she cannot handle so many, which she clearly could not. She has the audacity to charge money for such legal services. Please find yourself a better lawyer who actually prepares before the case and who hasn't overloaded themselves to this extent. Her legal services will be at your detriment.

I could have stayed with extremely cheap rent for the rest of my life, but I could not deal with the landlord who worked right downstairs anymore and left with a settlement instead. He really cares and pays close attention to your case. When I followed up the following week he asserted that he is "not the process server." Within the span of ~1.5 weeks, I was twice given unhelpful and disrespectful replies. After reminding Adam that the process server is acting as his agent, I suggested he comport himself better or send me my case file. Adam did neither: (1.) He refused to send me my case file (seemingly, violating Rule 1.16(e) of his professional conduct rules). (2.) He threatened to stop process service on counter-party.
