I just got a 5 year visa that a different company told me I couldn't get. Jenny and the entire team made this stress free. I loved working with Texas Tower passport and visa services.

My son has a Japan trip coming up in August and we mistakenly assumed…read morethat his passport was good for 10yrs, buuuuut luckily I checked (better later than too late) and realized it was expired last year! I had an appointment at my local post office last Friday and it was the only appointment available until late July. We show up and the passport clerk called in sick and cancelled all the appointments. I was so pissed and also worried because I don't know what else to do so I Google searched what my options were and I came across this place. Please don't get me wrong, I was a bit skeptical about this place, just seemed like a scam or shady, but after some research, I decided to give it a go because we were desperate to get this down in time especially because I'm flying out of state this weekend and won't return until the end of July so I had to help my son out now. Anyways, staff member Jenny helped me over the phone answering the infinite questions that I had for her. She was super friendly, patient and thorough with me so I can better under what I need to do and why. This was on a Friday on the phone with her and I'm located about 2hrs from their office. She's off on Mondays, but she prepped a packet for me to show up on Monday when she didn't have to. She did this off of pure good faith that I'd show up and not ditch. Upon coming to their office, the small and dark parking lot was super empty and there was a homeless guy sleeping on the ground along the stairwell and front entrance. It gave me the feeling again that the good-to-be-true awesome service, was at this shady looking place. It just so happens that that we were just there early and more cars started to fill up the lot. Another staff member, Ricardo helped me and he was super fast and friendly. We showed up at 9am and were out the door before 930am to go to an USPS appointment that Jenny set for me. It was a farther, but necessary drive to take care of this process today so that I'm not driving back and forth. Once we were done with the Post Office, we returned to drop off the sealed envelope so that it could be FedEx'd the next day for processing. Because this was considered "expedited," I had to pay $580 for the whole process plus $35 Post Office processing fee and an extra $45 fee for FedEx services to have it shipped to my house overnight once the Post Office does their part. This office did all the work and we just had to sign and go tot the Post Office. I wouldn't be paying this much if I just paid attention to my son's passport expiration date, but this was a hard lesson learned and timing was against us. Overall, I definitely recommend this business should you ever need an expedited passport. Staff were all around, AMAZING. Parking lot is super small and shady looking lol. Just park and walk upstairs through the front glass doors. It appears that there is no elevators so for those handicap or can't walk up the stairs, I would call first. The hours show 24/7, but they do in fact have office hours. Hopefully Google Edit will accept my request to update their office hours.

Here's why... In December of 2008 I started thinking about turning my cooking blog into a more professional website. I began researching companies that month, but nothing really stuck: I found it difficult to find a web designing team that seemed at once highly professional but also young enough to understand the style I was going for. I met with countless web designers, and finally discovered Zulu Creative by admiring the website of a bar in town I especially love. I looked through the rest of the Zulu portfolio and discovered that many of my favorite shops, cafes, bars and organizations in Houston had used Zulu for their websites and marketing. I worried that they would be way out of my price range, but decided to call anyway. They were willing to work with my budget and got started with a ridiculously close deadline. Before they began working, I met face to face with the entire team and explained what I do and what I was looking for. Within a week they had drafts of site architecture for me to look at. Within a month they showed me a first draft and were very amenable to making changes. I even asked them to redo the entire look of the site, and they obliged--just to make sure I was happy. After my site was up and running they invited me to the Zulu office for a full tutorial, and were incredibly patient as I learned how to manage all of my tags, categories, photos and entries. The best part: they had a box of organic cupcakes waiting for me! I highly recommend the Zulu team, if you're looking for people you'd trust with your time, money and brand. They'll also invite you to some really cool parties and are probably the most connected people in Houston... Sometimes when I'm home and have a free moment, I open up my website and drool at the design. It's really, really beautiful. Thank you ZULU!

The space has a cool, modern vibe without feeling over-the-top -- it's stylish but still comfortable. It doesn't feel like one of those loud, chaotic salons where you're just another appointment on the schedule. What stood out immediately was how intentional everything felt. Instead of jumping straight into the service, we actually had a real conversation about what I liked, what I didn't like about my current look, and what would realistically work for me day-to-day. I appreciated that honesty. I wasn't sold a dramatic change just for the sake of it -- the suggestions were practical and thoughtful. During the appointment, there was serious attention to detail. No rushing. No distracted energy. You can tell there's experience behind the chair. The final result looked polished but still natural -- like the best version of my hair, not something that felt forced or trendy for the sake of trendiness. What I liked most was walking out feeling confident, not just "freshly styled." There's a difference. The cut grew out well, the styling tips were actually useful, and I didn't feel pressured into buying products I didn't need. If you're looking for a place that blends skill with a relaxed, confident atmosphere -- not overly salesy, not overly dramatic -- this is it. I'll definitely be back.

There were a couple of minor hiccups that were not because of anything he or his team did, and I contacted him about them and he was all about addressing them and finding a solution. His customer service is beyond 5 stars - trust me on that, and that alone is worth every penny spent. So let me explain why I know it is better to use a travel agent versus doing it yourself. The biggest pro is that if there is any problem, your travel agent can handle the resolution or at least do the fighting for you. Travel agents speak the language so they can get things done quicker and more efficiently than the "non-speaking" do-it-yourselvers. They have access to programs and sites that most of us novices don't even know about. It's as if they are shopping at the Mall of America versus the general public's Dollar General version. My husband and I took our daughter and her husband to NYC for a fun, gourmet focused trip, (daughter is a chef), and it was even better than we'd all expected. The hotel Scott found for us was absolutely amazing. It was smack dab in the middle of everything we wanted and needed not to mention is was a beautiful hotel. Thank you so much Scott, for another amazing trip! We need to start thinking and talking about trip #3.
