Colorado Orthopedic Consultants in Aurora is an organized office. They sent me texts and emails prior to the appointment to get paperwork filled out. Once I arrived I had a short wait to see the doctor. His PA came in first and looked at my ankle and then I had X-rays done to check on status of fracture and healing. Dr. Meyers evaluated the X-rays and found my ankle was healing. All of the rooms I was in were clean and stocked with cleaning wipes. The office has a large area for physical therapy that I just saw. Be aware that parking is limited outside; there is a large parking garage that I ended up in since this office is adjacent to a hospital.

My…read moreprevious orthopedic surgeon had put me in a brace and said that it looked great every time I had an office visit and they took an x-ray and said to come back in another couple of weeks for another check up. My arm was NOT healing and the pain was unbearable and they didn't seem to even care. Dr. DeLaRosa immediately said he was very concerned on my first visit and ordered blood tests and took x-rays and told me that there is definitely something delaying the union of the bone and it was not okay to keep waiting. Within 2 weeks, we had performed surgery and my bone had been stuck in the muscle the whole time and was never going to heal without surgery. Dr DeLaRosa put in a plate and screws and the bone is literally in perfect alignment again! Today my arm is nearly back to full function and better every day! I cannot say enough about the quality of care from all of the staff from the front desk to the schedulers, the MA's and of course Dr DeLaRosa....everyone at OCC went above and beyond for my care and still does!

When I got there, none of the pre-paperwork have been done by the clinic, and they expected me to pay $1742!!! How awful and what an awful experience! Today they are supposed to read the MRI results to me - but I had to call them to make an appointment to do so, and it has been several, several weeks now. I would not recommend this place to anyone! I was having knee and hip pain due to not being able to activate my right glute properly and the rest of my body overcompensating for it. My squat and deadlift were struggling as a result. Over the last month I've had monumental improvement in my lifts, as well as, no more pain! Cami has made an effort to give me exercises that I can work into my programs. She's also done a lot to help me brace properly when lifting, which isn't an easy skill. Very glad I found this place and have been able to work with Cami! I decided to select Mile High Physical Therapy, in the Lowry neighborhood. I am glad that I chose this practice. I randomly selected Mile High, after surfing the list of Humana in-network PT providers. After about 10 unsuccessful tries at other practices, Mile High was the only call whereby someone, a human, answered the phone. That was my first clue that they would offer personalized service. I worked with both doctors, Kimberly Houston, and Padeu Wolfe, who seriously compliment each other, well-representing the elegance and ambiance of the minalist modern decor. They use state of the art tools, including the Kinesis cable system, and an elastic flex wand/bar that just fascinated me! Between Dr. Kimberly Houston and Dr. Padeu Wolfe, not only did I work on their sophisticated cable system, and magic wand, I received the most gentle massages in the damaged area, my rotator cup.
