St. V's usually has quality furniture, well made. This store has square footage and volume. A vast inventory. As generations arrive and leave, thrift stores contain the remnants. Lots of furniture is the pressboard, particle board and veneer of the 70's-2000's. There were still some great finds, oak, a very nice likely mahogany table, 2 leaves, with a coat of paint. Another good dining room set. A cool old dresser and mirror. Our place is too small, 700 miles away and full of quality old furniture. Not necessarily matching, but quality. We left with four items, two of them sealing glass jars, able to hold about four cups of ? each. Ours are raisin jars. We like wooden hangers, found a bundle for two dollars. We had been at the Pendleton Woolen Factory and seconds store the week before. We found a nice Pendleton Branded (therefore expensive) quilt in a belted package, unused, $14. Not wool, a weather resistant quilt, great for a car blanket. Would we return? Yes.

He raved about this thrift store. So I saved it till my mom showed up and we put it on our list. Google maps got us there without a hitch, or almost. We did have to do a U-Turn to get into their driveway, which wasn't bad, the traffic stopped ahead of us due they had a signal so all was good. This is a huge thrift store. You can't miss it from the road. It's on Watt Ave before the bowling alley if you are coming from the 50. They used to be behind a thriving shopping center, but that fizzled out so I'm rarely in this area anymore now that my grandma doesn't bowl there anymore. They have everything here include furniture that they will deliver. That's a surprise. I didn't inquire the fee, but I bet it's worth it. When you walk in they have a board that tells you what colors are on sale. I bought a few things that were 25% off and got one top for 50% off. What a deal. I bet people shop by tag colors and go for the white ones as those items are only $1. What a deal. I didn't see any white, tags, but I wasn't really looking for things by tag colors. I was more focused on things that I wanted and if it had the right colored tag than good for me. They have so much clothing. And I'm mostly focused on clothing and Puzzles. Everything is divide by type and size. There are several alcoves. One had women's dresses in it, which I looked at, but didn't see anything that was worth trying on. I found 2 sets of winter PJs for $6.99 for the set. One silky set in maroon and a 2nd set that was cotton and had maroon stripes along with grey and white. I got a black and white Calvin Kline T-Shirt with Calvin in Silver lettering for $2. I got 2 100 piece puzzles for a friend who had a stroke recently. She's going stir crazy and said 100 piece puzzle would be perfect. And theses weren't kiddy designs either so these were perfect. One was of sea shells and the other is of a decorated elephant. Those were only $1.50 each. They were 25% off what a good deal. And I got 2 other tops for $3.99 each. Back to the puzzles. They are the only store we when to today that had such a wide variety of 100 piece puzzles. I was really impressed by their selection. They also had puzzles with more pieces in them, but none of those got our attention. I don't know if they have restrooms, but they do have fitting rooms. They allow you to take 5 items in at a time, which is totally fair. With dressing rooms going out of style these days, this is a total find. They have so much clothing, they even have a blue room with the more desirable items in it. I looked around, but didn't see anything that caught my eye. Nothing stood out to me as being as a good find. They were pricier than I wanted to pay for those types of items. If you did find anything there you are asked to pay for them separately and not take them out of the area till they are paid for. Parking is ok. They have a lot right out front that was full when we arrived, we parked by the side of the building which was more convenient for me in pulling in and backing out. The other parking lot looked tight. I'm totally sold on this thrift store. I'm going to put it into our rotation.

As for prices, it felt like an early 2000's goodwill. Every time we saw something remotely interesting I assumed it would be 2-5x more expensive than it actually was. What do you mean this leather jacket is only $15??? I got a factory sealed PlayStation 2 game for my collection for only $5. It's worth $25 when factory sealed. This is one of the cheapest thrift stores I've ever visited, with high quality products, and friendly staff. I will absolutely be back, even though it's a 30 minute drive from me.

They want $25 for a shirt, $8.99 for a Mason jar that isn't even vintage, and $5 for a mesh skimmer that also wasn't vintage. I bought 2 of the same exact skimmer for my jam at Ross the next day for $4.99. If you mention the change in atmosphere or express that the price doesn't match the item, you get eyes rolled at you or completely snubbed like you don't know what you're talking about. I am always bubbly and kind when going in to thrift stores because I know the folks working retail deal with all kinds of "personalities" throughout the day. So, I want to be a friendly face. Being treated like I can take my business elsewhere has done just that. I will take my business elsewhere. There are thrift shops on every corner and yard/estate sales every weekend. I won't pay sentimental value or assumed vintage price the be treated like that. Ever since my lady and I have been watching our spending habits by not shopping at retailers that…read moresell "new" merchandise, the whole thrifting thing has been surprisingly successful as of late. Which takes me to the city of Folsom where we both had the opportunity in checking out "Snowline Thrift Store". Located directly on East Bidwell St and adjacent to Glenn Dr, this very well-known thrift store has been serving the Folsom community and its surrounding areas dating back to 1979. Best of all, the money that is collected goes towards hospice care for a variety of hospitals and care facilities in the greater Sacramento area. My lady and I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 5/30/2026 at around 3:00pm. As for the exterior of building, this place offers ample parking for a couple dozen vehicles which is very convenient on the busier days. Upon entry, I was greeted by a huge jukebox (that sounded amazing) playing lots of great upbeat music; my kind of vibe when I am thrifting. The main register is near the front entrance while there are actual fitting rooms (unlike Goodwill) where you can try your clothes on before you buy. Finally, they do offer a single one-person restroom towards the mid-rear part of the building. Business hours are also quite reasonable as they are open Monday through Saturday from 9am-7pm and Sunday from 11am-7pm. The overall prices here are quite reasonable as they sell a nice assortment of men's, women's, and children's apparel all at decent prices. Here you will find quite a bit of tees, polos, blouses, pants, jeans, skirts, outerwear, ties, shoes, and much more. They also carry a nice variety of glasses, dishes, small kitchen appliances, home apparel, artificial plants, mirrors, artwork, and even larger items such as tables, recliners, curio cabinets, and bedroom/living room furniture. And for the bookworm/audiophile in all of us, this place sells quite a decent amount of books, movies (VHS/DVD), music (vinyl records/CD's). During our visit, my lady was able to make a few amazing purchases on some small accessories for her workstation as well as some nice little side pieces for the living room. Even when she took these items to the front register, they gave her a better deal which meant she left paying a lot less than she had anticipated. However, the store itself was a little bit cluttered but still easy enough to navigate around. With the above average customer service, decent selection, and very reasonable prices on much of their merchandise, I am giving the Folsom "Snowline Thrift Store" an above average four stars.

Dropping off whatever you may have to donate is easy and simple. You do not even have to leave your vehicle. Employees will come to your car. I just automatically pop open my trunk and they remove the items. Easy peasy. Should you want a receipt for tax purposes... it will be provided at that time. There is a children's section in the back of the store in an adjacent room. For women WEAVE has the full gamut from under garments to casual wear, business wear, leisure clothing and gala/ball gowns as well as a hefty selection of shoes.
