The company Unemployment Consultants, Inc., in in fact NOT incorporated. The company was involuntarily dissolved by the Illinois Secretary of State on 1/2/1992 (cookrecorder.com Document # 92424494). 2. UC, Inc. was dissolved pursuant to a lien placed by the Illinois Department of Revenue (cookrecorder.com Document #92032464) for failure to pay its own unemployment insurance! 3. This lien has never been released, and this company has never reincorporated in the state of Illinois. This company has been doing business under the same name for the last 22 years. Despite not paying its own unemployment insurance, and not actually being incorporated and doing business as a corporation, UC, Inc., this company acts as Employer's Agent in hearings to deny claimants UI benefits. If you have an IDES hearing and these people are listed as Employer's Agent: -Seek legal counsel. If you have the means, hire a lawyer, if not, there is legal aid available and the number is on the form sent to you from the IDES. -Stay on top of all your hearings. Rather than contest everything at once, these people will file multiple hearings, for multiple issues. You may win one hearing on one topic, but if they win another hearing on another topic, it will cancel out your benefits. They also do this to draw out the process in the hopes you will either miss a hearing or give up. Do not miss a hearing. Do not give up. -Document everything! These people live on hearsay, and everything they submitted in my hearings was unsubstantiated hearsay and lies. Keep copious records, including emails, phone calls (you can find these on your phone bill).
