We recently moved into a new single family home and needed a surveillance system hookup. I was able to set up my own system in my old condo, but knew I was in over my head with the new house. I looked at a good amount of companies on both Yelp and Angie's List, and sent out requests for estimates to probably a dozen of them. Randy at Impel is the only one that came back with a fair estimate, and actually communicated with me throughout the process. Everyone else gave me a run-around trying to up-sell me inferior products, or have me agree to the install without a set estimate. I'm not a fan of games so I went with Impel. Randy was friendly and knowledgeable on the day of the installation. I used to install surveillance systems for a big-box retailer, and had a general idea of what to do, but Randy's knowledgeable greatly surpassed mine -- he knew exactly how to go about installing my system after a quick walk-through. I ended up learning a lot about how to properly install a surveillance system from him once everything was said and done. The price was extremely fair for the quality of work done; it was definitely within his estimate, and actually towards the cheaper side. Prior to finding him, contractors for Best Buy came out to our house and said they didn't have the capability to do the job we wanted- and then I contacted another company that never followed up with us. My husband then found IMPEL and we are glad he did. It is not cheap - but it is well worth it for the quality of work and service that you're getting. He also assists in helping you to learn how to use your new equipment even though we didn't purchase it from him. We have used IMPEL SERVICES twice in the past two years. Our first install was during a fireplace remodel. All wires are hidden- the sound incredible and visual appeal is perfect. The second install is in the master bedroom. Again the TV is wall mounted and on a swivel arm for improved viewing and space saving even though the TV has a 49 inch screen with a sound bar. For our most recent project, he installed some shelves on the wall to the right of a 50" flat screen on a fully movable bracket. It looks great. For an older project, he installed a 60" tv on a pivoting mount, concealed some electronics on a built in shelf, pulled the wire through the wall, and it all looks beautiful. He also sells high quality everything - TVs, audio systems, complete home theaters, wall mounts, shelves, accessories, etc. for very reasonable prices (lower than I found on Amazon).
