Knew what I wanted, so easy sale and no unnecessary up-sale pressure. The the salespeople at the Ellicott City store were very knowledgeable and friendly. TV in stock. Easy to schedule free delivery and to take away old 200 lb TV ($100 fee to dispose of old TV, worth it in our opinion). Delivery people were quick and competent. Delivered TV when they said they would. Unboxed, installed stand, and set it in place. Turned on to check that it worked. Took away box and packing. Completed installation to theater surround system and other components myself. Only hiccup in the installation was due to the width of the stand. We had planned on swapping our two original TVs and placing the new TV on our 41¾" table. The big screen store stand online measurements make no sense and Samsung lists it as 40" wide. It is actually 42¼" wide. We decided we were fine with putting the new TV where the TV we were disposing of was. Delivery people took this change in plans in stride. read more

We purchased a large QLED TV from the Rockville Pike Store from Steven S. He was all professional and friendly when we were in the store. The Samsung QLED died on us one day after the expiration of the warranty. I called Steven and he was abrupt and unwilling to assist us. His final response was to call Samsung HQ in South Korea for assistance. I called the North American HQ in New Jersey. The VP was so upset with the response from Steven that she sent a technician with a replacement tv. A few weeks later, I received a call from the President of The Big Screen Store. BEWARE of their customer service once they have your money is what I will tell you if you decide to buy anything from the Big Screen Store. We purchased a TV, Sound bar and Credenza. Everything seemed great during the sales experience. Our delivery was scheduled quickly. We were repeatedly told they would make us happy. The delivery team brought the items and they all seemed perfect. They set everything up and the last thing they did was to add the handles to the credenza. When they did this the delivery guy adjusted the door and damaged it. (This was through no fault of ours). Big Screen Store said they would send out a repairman. We very patiently waited two months for this repair. The repair main brought a replacement door that didn't match and didn't fit. He even said he was not satisfied with the result of the repair. (Again there was no fault on our part). The Big Screen Store contacted us to say they would bring out a new unit. Again they did this very quickly on a Saturday. The delivery guys said right up front that they didn't want to bring the new credenza because it had two huge knots in the wood that had split as well as the back being warped in a spot at the top where the back meets the top. (Again, not our fault). Our original piece had knots that add to the beautiful rustic nature of this piece, but they didn't make the wood split, and the back wasn't warped. They said their boss told them to take it to the customer and just see if they would accept it. They didn't unbox the unit or even take the unit off of the truck lift gate. They opened the opened just the top of the box. They knew right away as they showed it to me just as I did that I wasn't going to take this credenza. Our original piece had knots that add to the beautiful rustic nature of this piece, but they didn't make the wood split, and the back wasn't warped. I contacted our salesman and he said no problem, he would have another one sent out on Monday. We received a call on Sunday afternoon from the salesman who did a quick about face and said that they weren't going to replace the credenza. We had a choice to accept the damaged one that they would redeliver or we could have our money back because they weren't going to open anymore credenzas. This is absolutely reprehensible that this is the solution to their issue that we didn't cause and have been very patient to have resolved. The original credenza that was brought was perfect until the company damaged it during set up. All we heard during these two months was don't worry we will make it right. After several phone calls Justin finally agreed to deliver a new credenza. He said it would be inspected before being brought out. Jason Brager LIED. The one they just brought out has putty, a line down the middle and a chip. (see the pictures.) Is this supposed to be acceptable??? They obviously don't care about their customers. They care only about their money. What happened to that customer service?? I will certainly be sure to let everyone I know and on every social media platform about what type of company they are. This has turned out to be an absolute HORRIBLE experience. All I wanted is what I paid for, a new undamaged piece of furniture. read more

Visited this store because we always see such good deals on the tv commercial. We went into inquire about a deal we recently saw and of course it wasn't exactly the same deal advertised. The products on the commercials are the bottom of the barrel products. Once you see the other options you'll surely want to spend more money. So that's what happened to us so we figured we would inquire about a credit account We applied for credit , but NEVER said we wanted to accept the account. We go to buy our house and two credit accounts from the big screen store ARE on our credit reports. Not cool!! One word...WOW! For TV's, everyone offers free shipping and Samsung TV's are priced the same wherever. Shopping at the Big Screen Store made a huge difference. Went into the store with no intent of having my TV installed by Super Bowl Sunday. One nice thing was they have the top of the line Samsung's which Costco did not.
