Ezra helped me install a new chain link fence around my back yard. My original fencing was pieced together from my neighbors' fences - and most of it was falling apart. I'm planning on buying a new house in a different neighborhood soon, and I'll go back to Imperial (hopefully this time for something a little fancier - I'm thinking their vinyl fencing, I'm a dork and I want a pretty white picket fence). The service the people on the phone in the company and their workers are tremendous very polite. I found him very efficient very professional when the boys came to fix my fence they cleaned up absolutely everything. They went out of their way to even readjust my other gates. I couldn't be happier with imperial they did my full Fence six years ago and then I re-hired them again because a contractor cut my fence and these boys work so hard and they were so nice to be here to work with. I had a chain link fence installed in 2019, I paid over 12k for this fence. I asked for 9 gauge so that it would last and my dogs wouldn't be able to tear it up. I previously had a dog that tore up a privacy fence and was told by a reputable fence company that 9 gauge would be sufficient. They were correct. When I moved, I knew I would be getting two large dogs and specifically asked for 9 gauge black vinyl fence. I thought that would mean the same 9gauge covered in black vinyl. I trusted this company, and did not go behind them to measure the gauge. The sales person from this company did not tell me any different, I explained that I would want 6 ft for the dogs. I noticed that my dogs were pulling, going under and tearing up the fence. I called to get an estimate for something stronger, from a couple of different companies and I just found out that I actually got 11.5 wire covered in black vinyl. This is very flimsy and NOT what I asked for. I met with the owner of Imperial Fence company and he told me that he doesn't believe a word I am saying and has no intentions of doing anything about it. I am not the fence specialist I admit but I know that I requested 9 gauge and his sales person knew why and did not suggest anything. I actually manage a large group of people for a large company and I would expect my team or employees to educate our customers on what would best help them, then let them make the choice, but apparently this company doesn't care about people, just the sale. Then to call ME the liar when I asked for 9 gauge fence and received 11.5 gauge. I was not asking for money, just the actual 9gauge wire fence that I asked for. I wonder how many others were scammed by this company. I feel this companies sales person did not do their job and inform the customer of choices, I would have paid whatever needed and I feel that the owner of this business does not care about the community people, just the money, once they are done, you are forgotten. read more

I decided to go with this company because their estimated time was only 3 weeks out as opposed to other companies who were at about an 8 week wait time. They arrived and were unable to do the work due to my yard being too wet, but were able to come back 2 days later to get started. My job took 2 full days and the staff were very professional. The end product was exactly what I expected! My final bill matched my quote exactly, so no hidden fees or extra charges which I greatly appreciated. Fantastic service. Extremely professional. Was told it would take 2 to 2.5 days to complete the job. They finished in 1.5 days because of their dedicated work ethics. Neighbors are jealous!!!! Excellent customer service, prices on par with the other estimates I received. That estimate was provided quickly and on my schedule. Thankfully they were actually a smidge lower than others because they caught me off guard with a 3% credit card fee. That fee is my only complaint. Otherwise, they had great communication, they cleaned up after themselves and I had a brand new shiny chain link fence within just a few weeks. So far it has managed to contain my beast of a dog to my yard.. cross your fingers for me that it continues to work! read more

You might expect a $10,000 fence to last more than 6 years. But just 6 years after installation, my back fence line began to cave in. No storm, no tornado, just multiple fence posts flopping over. After some convincing, Imperial Fence sent an employee to inspect my fence. I was told that the posts "broke off" & they would be replaced/reset "free of charge and after warranty." In reality, the Imperial Fence installers had assembled the back section of my 6-ft privacy fence over the original (OLD) posts from the preexisting 4-ft chain link fence. The 4-ft posts were not set deep enough to hold a 6-ft privacy fence & were not even properly set in concrete. Thus, "free" work was correction of the installer's mistake. But my goal was to have the company make good on the project, so I didn't debate repeated claims of "free materials and free labor." I even thanked them profusely. (Who knew when another section of fence would topple over & I'd need to call them again?) Well, "who knew when" happened just a year later! Only it wasn't a different section of fence. A post in the SAME section of fence was flopping around. Upon inspection, I found that it was an original 4-ft post, not set in concrete! This post was not replaced/reset during Imperial's last visit! They skipped this post when they came to fix their mistake! So now it's been just over a year since all the posts in this section were SUPPOSED to be replaced/reset. I contacted Imperial Fence, and owner Ezra went from Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde. In an aggressive tone, he reminded me of the "free, after-warranty" work. He refused to acknowledge that his company mishandled the job to begin with. Or the fact that, when they promised to redo the botched job, they only did part of it. He continued, loudly steamrolling me each time I tried to speak, with his personal narrative that he went above & beyond. He made rude, sarcastic and snarky comments until I hung up on him...only to have him CALL ME AGAIN AND CONTINUE HIS RANT!!! Unprofessional much??? But there's always a silver lining, right? My 17-year-old son, after a few YouTube videos, purchased a new (6-ft) fence post, set it in concrete and then rebuilt the section of fence. It took some time and effort, as it was his first try. (He's not a professional, LOL!!!) And it looks great! Who wants to bet that, years from now, it will be the last post standing?!? Fortunately, I now have a new and reliable 17-year-old fence guy who is available at a moment's notice, in the event that other sections of fence develop problems. First I requested an estimate and the guy had poor follow through. The next guy who took over was better and it was finally installed 2 mos after initial contact. I paid the first half readily and a few weeks after install they sent a new bill which was larger than I expected. Now this part was my fault.....having 2 little kiddos full time at home and 2 house rehabs going I fell down at paying the balance timely. That said, I think it was 6 weeks later without warning they went to my property and ripped out the fence. I called immediately and apologized for being so delayed and asked if they could put it back and even offered to pay extra for the reinstall. The response was extremely unprofessional. When I said that I would need to use Yelp, The response qualifies as trash talk. I was called stupid, bitch, ass hole, and some guy in the background was joining in the expletives at which I promptly hung up. I've managed property for 10 years and never experienced anything like that. It was a Friday before Labor Day weekend and I even began to wonder if they were drunk. The response is disorganized, the install is fine, the handling of disagreements is downright scary. read more
