i could have never believed in a million years that they could have done what these people did and get away with it. but they did. its not over by a long shot. you cannot treat people this way. throwing terminally ill people out into the november cold because they cannot do their job properly. then lie and notarize legal documentation, served legal papers improperly. demand paperwork on a certain date that i wasnt given until the evening of said date. it is the most disgusting, cruel, evil, heartless people you will ever have the displeasure of coming across. i have never been late or short on one rent payment in all of the years i have been here. i have never caused trouble or been spoken to about causing problems etc. but becausethey couldnt manage to get the proper renewal paperwork to the correct place. i am homeless. they had me believing that i would continue to live right up until 6 days ago. now i have 2 days before the sherriffs come and throw me and everything i own into the street. they wont even permit me to pay for extra time to find a safe place to go. if you move into this place its on you. but mark my words. you are dealing with some very ugly people who dont care about anything but their wallets. the owner is worth $5.5 billion dollars. he made that money making people live in squaller. check into the website "pissed consumer" search morgan properties. over 800 complaints about people living with rodents, bugs, black mold, water pouring into light fixtures, sexual harrassment by the maintenance people l. the list goes on and on. i got thrown out for standing up for myself and demanding what i am entitled to by law. but because i dont have the money they do. they get away with murder. as i said. i may not be able to do anything to save myself from being homeless right now. but i have a quite a bit of attorney's/legal services telling me that i have quite the case. all of the people that were informed of the purgery and improper service of legal documentation. and the fact that it can be proven...ignored me. so from the person who served the paperwork and lied. to the office manager/notary who knew it was a lie and notarized it anyway to their attorney's and the jjudge. they were all informed and ignored it anyway. they all knowingly use purgered documentation to cause me to be homeless. i wont forget any of them. and as soon as i can find a safe place to go. im coming after each and every one of them. legally. i am in no way threatening violence or even an in person confontation. they would run and hide anyway or call the cops if i showed up up there. because they know what they did. and i have i right to be angry and scared. but in no way shape or form am i threatening anything illegal. i am however promising them that they will not get away with this! if it takes me until my last breath. i will make sure that they are all reported to the proper authorities. lying and and knowingly notarizing that lie on a legal affidavit is the same as lying under oath in a courtroom. punishable by up to 5 years in prison, 5 years probation and a pile of hefty fines. apparently these people are all absolutely perfect in every way. they have never had a crisis or emergency. i dont even think they know what the word compassion is nevermind the definition. it gives me chills and nausea just to think that these people have absolutely no problem putting an older and terminally ill person (stage 4 across the board) out into the november new york cold. to imperial gardens/morgan properties.... please do not forget my name. i am probably the only person to ever pay all 7 years worth of rent on time (or early) and in full. but this will definitely not be the last time you hear my name. you will be seeing it for a long time to come. i will be the plaintiff in an enormous lawsuit naming each of you specifically. if i have to sue you all individually so be it. as mentioned there are several attorney's interested in this case. so much so they are willing to take it pro bono. if there were more of me, it would already be happening. you know the old saying about karma. its a b___h! did i mention that my middle name is karma!!?? read more

Suspect water damage and old carpet causing my allergies reactions upon move in. Cant tolerate living in an environment that had antigens cat/mold/dust severe responses to these antigens upon moving in. I have been diagnosed this year w severe allergy types of diseases from covid . I asked management to allow us to move to a different 2nd fl unit said no. Mouse poop in kitchen cabinets, dirty old carpet in bedrooms. Want me to pay to fix carpet issues. Gave property $3500 to move into apartment, they wont work with is so we can settle in. Management charging me to fix carpet issues, according to managment i have to pay hire movers to move my furniture so mngmt can clean carpet!!! I am so sorry that I did not read the reviews before signing a lease at Imperial Gardens/Middletown, NY 10941. I really don't know where to start. Maybe I will start with the fact that you can never get anyone in the office to answer the telephone. I have been waiting for a larger apartment to become ready for approximately 4 months. There hasn't been any follow up or updates. The only time I get an update (to basically say there isn't an update) is when I go into the office. Once I asked for an update and the tone and demeanor of the Property Manager was disgusting. She responded to my inquiry like I didn't have the right to question why a unit that was supposed to be ready on 6 1 22 is still not ready and at this time I was asking it was in early August. I reached out directly to Morgan Properties via the feedback option on the website (no numbers available- they probably wouldn't answer them anyway) before submitting this review here and no one responded there either. The rent is not cheap (actually for the level of service you receive and the conditions of the units, it is extremely overpriced) and I am sure if you are diligent and do your research you will be able to find another complex that values their tenants. To be fair the only thing that I have had a positive experience with is the maintenance staff. Most of my concerns or issues have been taken care of within 2 days or less! Don't let desperation cause you to get into a horrible situation for a year or more. Please keep looking! read more

This place is trash! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE AND DISGUSTED!!! (Resident of 5 years) Below is an email I sent to the Property Manager- Margaret. I left a voicemail as well with no response. I called today, a week, to confirm Margaret's email the person that answered stated the email I had was correct. When I asked to speak to Margaret she said she was in a meeting. I told the person on the phone that I sent an email last week with no response and I assume I will now have to call the fire inspector and DOH since there were electrical concerns reported in Jan 2021 and we are now in March. Her reply was that "Margaret gets a lot of emails".... In my job, I also get a lot of emails..... So that is just pathetic! This place is HORRIBLE! Do not inquire to move here. Rent went up $130 this year. Every year it goes up and the service goes down. (ZERO STARS) Sent March 1,2021: Hi Margaret, I just left a long message at the office. I am extremely upset about the level of care that is provided by the staff and maintenance office. I have put in multiple requests for electrical concerns in my apartment from Jan. 14, 2021 ( buzzing lights, flickering lights, dimming lights, plugs that push into the wall) and no one has responded or contacted me. The requests were closed. I also send request about how filthy this building was in Jan. as well. Those requests were closed with no resolution (images attached). Last time I emailed you was because you contacted me after a survey. I told you how disgusting the laundry room was and that no one cleaned it regularly. They only come to clean when I call and complain. This has NOT changed. (Images attached). Unfortunately, I am looking to move out because over the past five years the attention and care has diminished. The standards were not very high to begin with ( my bathrooms and kitchen is outdated, trim is old, carpet poorly installed, and I can go on...) regardless of the response I receive, if I receive one, I will never have anything good to say about the care here and I would not suggest this place as a rental to anyone I know. I regret moving here, I don't know where to beginning. Lets see, we have to pay for parking and if someone parks in your spot and you call into the office they tell you its not an emergency, and for us to park in the visitor but you still charge me for parking okay. second the garden is old when I say old I mean you can hear everything !!! we would seriously hear our neighbors above fight and yell at each other all hours of the night. We had a stabbing, our neighbors above stabbed some guy trying to come in, which I still don't believe that story. The only upsides to the place was the grass and the area was nice. but forget about, using the laundry there your clothes don't out clean at all. We then moved to Park from the garden. it was so much more quite. we loved it until we had stuff not working have Maintenance come, well lets just say for close to 1500 that I am paying I expect you not argue, not have a attitude and act so unprofessional. honest it is a disgrace to even think that I am paying all this money for piss poor service. you make a complaint and then the next time I call for service the same tool bag shows up with the same attitude. then talks me like I'm a idiot , and I don't understand shit. I gave up with calling I just fix everything myself. We honest gave up with this place if I am going to spend all my money for shitty service I rather just go somewhere else. Which we are currently looking for at the moment. You can move here, if you want from what everyone says all the time is that nothing every changes same shit bags will be here after I leave as long; as they get your money that is all that matters to them. read more

Literally the worst complex. The main office doesn't care once you are a resident. They only answer the phone when you are applying to live there. Once you are a resident they do not care. The maintenance staff is overworked and they do not have enough people to do any work. They never come when they say they will when you have an appointment. If you have a dog forget about having an appointment and your not home. I bring my dog to a friends so they can come in when I'm not home and they lie and leave a note saying they came and they couldn't get in because of the dog even though the dog was not home. If you have an appointment 9am-12 they won't come. You literally have to go to the office to remind them they were supposed to come. Because if you call they won't answer so you physically have to go there. I would not live here unless you have a big dog. That is the only reason to live here since no other compexes in the area take big dogs. read more

We moved out before ever moving in! We have been searching for an apartment or house to rent for a while now. This place was the first place with some vacancy and now we understand why. Applying isn't even easy, my husband and I both created accounts and had to apply multiple times because the system would tell the other person to finish the application but would tell you your email didn't match what they had online. Afyet getting the application through we w a few days to see if they would call ys. After that we called the number and using the automated system left the staff a general message. They never called back! We had to actually show up there to get them to answer and the first time we tried to go there was no one there. The building was locked and everyone was gone at 3pm on a weekday when the sign says they are supposed to be there until 6pm. After finally getting them and multiple trips back and forth bringing paperwork and documents we finally got approved. For anyone who got this far the staff was pretty annoyed with us after showing up and trying to get a place here... so very welcoming. I'm not one to complain about people or places because there could be more going on but this place is absolute trash! We were told multiple times that the unit was being renovated And had a date of September 30th. We were also told to wait u til the lease shows up on the website to sign it. After we signed we were told everything needed to be set up to go forward (electric, internet, renters insurance) we set that all up like they had asked and then they changed out move in date online never notifying us by phone or email or text... nothing.. all two days before we were supposed to move in. We decided to drive by the unit and see how far along the renovations were. They had barely done a thing! We were shocked! The staff is very rude and unprofessional! have never before been so annoyed or mad with a customer service experience in my life! I will NEVER recommended this place to anyone also SUPER OVERPRICED for what you would even get if you could get in. Please take your time and put the energy into another place. Maybe even a place that has 3 stars for a rating because any of them around here would be better than Imperial gardens, Imperial Ridge and Imperial park. I hope this helps read more

if you want A 1 service when you call the office they pick right away and maintenance crew respond right away sorry to tell you imperial gardens apartment is not for you they respond when they want to. you have pay for parking and other people park in your spot and they park in the visiting parking space and they don't pay that fee and top of that you have pay a pet fee every month read more
