In December of 2021 I moved into a converted warehouse loft-style apartment that was absolutely gorgeous and designed beautifully - Downtown Village on Montgomery St. in Middletown - touted as high end, luxury loft Iiving in Middletown. Not so much. I moved my 90 year old mother in with me and the owner and staff were welcoming, helpful and seemed to really care. Almost immediately, mold and dampness appeared on the walls and floor in my mother's bedroom, living room and front closet. It became a huge and ongoing problem. They attempted to get rid of it multiple times, a professional inspector was called in, but within days of their attempts, the mold and dampness was back. I had to move my poor mom, on oxygen, into the living room, as far away from the wet, moldy walls as possible. We lived with this mold (As did the other tenants on my ground floor) the entire 7 months I was there (Mom sadly passed 3 months after her moving in.) I basically had no choice but to move not to be exposed to this health hazard. The mold destroyed leather bags, coats, clothing, books, and worst of all, some of my mom's original artwork. No restitution was offered whatsoever, and two letters with photos of the mold and damage were comepletely ignored by the landlord, Sal Vasapolli. I honestly thought I was dealing with a different person who truly cared but I was mistaken. BE AWARE and know who you are dealing with and where you are going - especially when loved ones are invloved.

i could have never believed in a million years that they could have done what these people did and…read moreget away with it. but they did. its not over by a long shot. you cannot treat people this way. throwing terminally ill people out into the november cold because they cannot do their job properly. then lie and notarize legal documentation, served legal papers improperly. demand paperwork on a certain date that i wasnt given until the evening of said date. it is the most disgusting, cruel, evil, heartless people you will ever have the displeasure of coming across. i have never been late or short on one rent payment in all of the years i have been here. i have never caused trouble or been spoken to about causing problems etc. but becausethey couldnt manage to get the proper renewal paperwork to the correct place. i am homeless. they had me believing that i would continue to live right up until 6 days ago. now i have 2 days before the sherriffs come and throw me and everything i own into the street. they wont even permit me to pay for extra time to find a safe place to go. if you move into this place its on you. but mark my words. you are dealing with some very ugly people who dont care about anything but their wallets. the owner is worth $5.5 billion dollars. he made that money making people live in squaller. check into the website "pissed consumer" search morgan properties. over 800 complaints about people living with rodents, bugs, black mold, water pouring into light fixtures, sexual harrassment by the maintenance people l. the list goes on and on. i got thrown out for standing up for myself and demanding what i am entitled to by law. but because i dont have the money they do. they get away with murder. as i said. i may not be able to do anything to save myself from being homeless right now. but i have a quite a bit of attorney's/legal services telling me that i have quite the case. all of the people that were informed of the purgery and improper service of legal documentation. and the fact that it can be proven...ignored me. so from the person who served the paperwork and lied. to the office manager/notary who knew it was a lie and notarized it anyway to their attorney's and the jjudge. they were all informed and ignored it anyway. they all knowingly use purgered documentation to cause me to be homeless. i wont forget any of them. and as soon as i can find a safe place to go. im coming after each and every one of them. legally. i am in no way threatening violence or even an in person confontation. they would run and hide anyway or call the cops if i showed up up there. because they know what they did. and i have i right to be angry and scared. but in no way shape or form am i threatening anything illegal. i am however promising them that they will not get away with this! if it takes me until my last breath. i will make sure that they are all reported to the proper authorities. lying and and knowingly notarizing that lie on a legal affidavit is the same as lying under oath in a courtroom. punishable by up to 5 years in prison, 5 years probation and a pile of hefty fines. apparently these people are all absolutely perfect in every way. they have never had a crisis or emergency. i dont even think they know what the word compassion is nevermind the definition. it gives me chills and nausea just to think that these people have absolutely no problem putting an older and terminally ill person (stage 4 across the board) out into the november new york cold. to imperial gardens/morgan properties.... please do not forget my name. i am probably the only person to ever pay all 7 years worth of rent on time (or early) and in full. but this will definitely not be the last time you hear my name. you will be seeing it for a long time to come. i will be the plaintiff in an enormous lawsuit naming each of you specifically. if i have to sue you all individually so be it. as mentioned there are several attorney's interested in this case. so much so they are willing to take it pro bono. if there were more of me, it would already be happening. you know the old saying about karma. its a b___h! did i mention that my middle name is karma!!??

No storage at all they have a utility room which did have a washer and dryer which got taken out and you can not use this for storage. jacked up the rent by $200 - $300 a shot. they force people out so they can bring in people who can cope on their own but get there rent paid for by the government these people are not to be trusted. it is ok I guess if your single and can afford it. you get cold water for free everything else you pay. as far as snow removal and getting out that's when ever. Today my neighbor's entire bathtub drained onto my computer desk, so I guess they just didn't want to fix it. During a winter warning, it took over 24 hours on a workday to be able to move my car out of the parking lot. My neighbors scream constantly. Their family honks their horn at my window so they can scream at each other from the balcony. A man in socks came to my door asking if he could pay me to pretend to be his uncle. I have been scammed my the utilities representatives they have sent to our doors twice. This apartment is a nightmare.
