Mr. Thompson is a really great teacher and after watching him teach a class, it's easy to understand why this is the best school in the area, especially for children. I don't remember if it was the least expensive (they all seemed right about the same), but there is nothing second-rate about this school. The emphasis isn't just on fighting, which is probably better for kids in most cases, but more on focus, persistence, consistency and doing the best you can regardless of the skill level. I would definitely recommend Task to anyone, especially if you're looking to get a child into martial arts training for the first time.

Its a friendly but competitive atmosphere. Recently they have added a MMA fit class along with strength and conditioning classes , which I haven't had a chance to check out myself, but the coach has multiple certifications as a personal trainer and weight lifting coach, I see him working with kids all the way up to professional MMA fighters.
