    Upgraded our truck from a 2021 custom to a 2023 RST Z71, our sales rep Susan Zavala was amazing , very kind and understanding, got us the best deal possible and fought for what we needed. Highly recommend asking for her if you are looking at purchasing a new or used vehicle

    New info. We found that GM took out the 8 month old Ford battery that would have been under warranty and replaced it with a cheap wimpy battery. This truck has a ton of computers in it and needs major power. We wondered why the truck wouldn't perform as expected. We took it in to Ford and found the cheap battery. I have no idea why they changed it but it would have been under warranty. Now, it's over $200 to get the proper battery for the truck. It took close to 4 months to get our registration. We had to get the Comptroller, General Manager and DMV involved to fix the mistakes made when it was submitted. They don't seem to care about customers as I've never heard from them. We always had to chase them down to fix their problems. That's not how I want to be treated when I buy a vehicle. I would never recommend them. Original Yelp My husband has been looking in town for a truck. We looked at Ford, Dodge but needed a smaller truck than they had. Yesterday, we went to Imperial Valley Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac to see what they had in stock. I wasn't thrilled as I had problems with a Chevy truck I had in the past-but he was just looking. They are outside of town, on Wake St., which is on the opposite side of town from the other dealers. So far they seemed good 5 stars. We were helped by Jonathan who worked hard to help us find a truck that fit the long list of requirements that my husband needed. He saw a 2017 Ford Lariat that seemed to fit the bill and we took it on a test drive. Hubs decided it was what he wanted so we went to the price phase. They went back in forth in the dance on deciding on how much the truck could be reduced and what our trade in was worth (always a shock to see what I still think of as a fairly new car is worth). But it's a game what can be raised or lowered. They came to an agreement a bit higher than we were hoping. But, probably, 4 stars. We went to dinner next door while the paperwork was being created then returned to go into Finance with Ruben, the closer. We didn't feel the same good service from Ruben. He seemed to not be as concerned about the customer as we expected. This started to lower my rating from the time we entered his office. We have purchased many vehicles before and we have had better service in Finance from other dealerships. California does has a ton of paperwork to ensure all is known. Only after most of the paperwork is signed that it is disclosed to us that it was a rental. And the way Ruben said it sounded to me like he was trying to slide it in. And it was only when we signed the Carfax that he said it. I wonder if that is why they never brought out the Carfax when I asked earlier. I feel that have been disclosed earlier! They showed one of the papers (Buyer's Guide) in the window with a red faded stamp that was so faded, we never saw it. But they put the good stuff in large, bold print. Yes-Buyer Beware but since it is required by the Federal Trade Commission to be on the sticker, it should also be required to be READABLE. It felt like dishonest dealing. This would have changed our deal. I felt like I couldn't trust anything they said about the vehicle now. I was not happy and only discussion with my husband made me continue with the deal. I would have expected the notice to be not easily seen. We also had to sign our credit scores, which surprised us since we weren't financing it. We were never told this would be done. They definitely need to improve their disclosure of information to the customer. I'm not sure what else I will do about this problem. I was not happy when I left-which isn't a good thing when someone buys a vehicle. Jonathan was good during the sale and has taken good care of us afterward to finish one repair needed. I wish he would have known about the previous rental though. He is the only reason I am rating it as high as I did. Finance dropped it way down. I would not recommend Imperial Valley Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac. They don't seem to care about customers as I've never heard from them. That's not how I want to be treated when I buy a vehicle.

    I have to admit that some of the previous reviews did scared me a bit but I'm also big on supporting businesses outside major metropolitan areas. I worked with Jose Chavez and we came to an agreed price. I reside 200 miles away so I wanted to start the paperwork earlier and sent my documents over to Mr. Chavez ahead of time. Then we made an appointment for me to travel there. Upon arrival, we went directly to finance and signed the paperwork. Everything was finalized and I was out with the new car in under 45 minutes. Could not have been a smoother experience. My advice to reader would be to start the documents as soon as possible especially if you're not local. Mr. Chavez was a pleasure to deal with and his professionalism is a model for all car dealers.

    The customer service after you purchase a vehicle is trash. Good luck getting anyone on the phone.

In my experience, his attentiveness and honesty were well displayed by the fact that he took on a job and did it on time for an extremely fair price. Cleaning out an exhaust gas recirculation system is something a lot of garages simply don't want to do, and will become dishonest when facing a request to do so. I have experienced this with some businesses for whom I have left appropriate reviews detailing as much. One business even immediately tried to convince me that an engine replacement was obviously necessary. 2 days ago, a 304 code was showing that my fourth cylinder was misfiring for some reason. Mr cisneros took the time to comply with my request to examine my EGR system and confirmed that the first three intake manifold ports were blocked significantly, routing an overflow of air to the fourth cylinder and causing that misfire. A combination of free code readings and YouTube videos and a replacement of spark plugs not solving the issue made this EGR clean out a very likely solution to my problem. Indeed, I have gone from about 35 miles per gallon and a knocking engine at low accelerating RPMs yesterday to over 50 miles per gallon and an engine that purrs ever so gently if audible at all today. I was pretty sure of the problem and the solution, but Mr cisneros is the person who made it possible. I can't recommend his services enough, and I hope that other people have a chance to enjoy the same experience that I did! My dented Prius has 200,000 miles on the odometer, but thanks to Mr Cisneros, it's still a young car.

Terrible costumer service, horrible work output for amount charged, and he can't distinguish between what needs to be done and what he can do to pretend he's been putting in the work. Enjoy!

    UPDATE. Read before going!!!…read more 1996 Corvette LT4 1 star. Ernesto took in my vehicle for a diagnostic, a distributor, and fuel pump repair. He gets the star for completing The job And for the ingenuity in fuel filtration by sacrificing an old sock. Why he lost 4. My fuel inlet cover is now missing. My electric radiator fan no longer turns on (overheating) my emissions air system no longer charges. My fuel gauge no longer works (see pic of fuel sending unit and pump with a dirty sock wrapped around it and the wires just twisted together- I had a brand new pump and sending unit installed before he did this) my e brake was completely removed, broken, left in pieces in the back, my dash board is separated from the trim by an inch, the wire harness under the hood was ripped apart and random wires are now twisted together with many just cut, my mass air flow sensor plug is broken off, my hood latch is now inoperable, my power steering box is flopping around unbolted (now missing bolt) my tool box is missing half the tools, and lastly.. my OBDII reader and BT receiver left the chat. I would bet there is more but I haven't found everything else his business "fixed". After 4 months of having my car we finally confirmed a date I could pick up the car- the day of, he let me know he couldn't be there and left the keys for me, I sent the payment and drove out from San Diego to pick up. (My bad). I did bring it to his attention to which he apologized and offered to "fix" it. But... man... I don't trust him to get it done after thinking that was the way to turn a car back over to a costumer in the first place. My lesson in life, Pay the higher rate, have a professional do a professional job. Update- I pulled the water pump (which must be removed to access the distributor) and immediately felt uneasy as everything had a very "this looks like 10000 miles of untouched grit" look to it. Well, the work was actually never done. I paid for parts, time, and he kept the new parts, did a hackjob wiring to get it to start and called it good. Ernesto (son I believe) fed me a sob story about his remorse for how his company handled this and promised to refund the money but within 12 hours stopped responding to any messages. I hope no one is ever hurt because of their dangerous business practices driving away in a vehicle they touched.
