There was soup, salad, scalloped and mashed potatoes, asparagus and green beans, gravy and au jus, chicken and a carving station with prime rib. Everything was super hot and very good. My favorite was the scalloped potatoes. There also was a nice peach cobbler for dessert. I highly recommend the NAF El Centro Mirage Club if you ever have the chance to go. It was great getting to see the base up close and also the Mirage Club. Everyone is very nice, dinner was wonderful and the whole night was enjoyable.

I like that the event had guest check in with security guards and I felt safe knowing there is security around for our safety and theirs. There was about 200 guest attended, the tables were spaced out perfectly for each guests so they will have plenty of room to move about. The place was beautifully decorated, from the seating to the walls, it was meticulously decorated. They really transformed this place on that special day. The dance floor was a great size for guests to get their boogie on. It was such a fun day. They have restrooms for use. There was plenty of stalls in the women area and long mirrors to check yourself out before you go out to the dance floor lol. They also have a bar area. The food was buffet style that day; the options were great and their food was delicious. We had steak, chicken, rice, scalloped potatoes, veggies and salad. The dessert table was wonderful. Probably the biggest party drink and you don't know how to make that? -DJ: didn't know how to mix music, screwed up the playlist for the ceremony which is embarrassing, he's also the announcer which is a shame because he was so boring and unenthusiastic about his job. -Caters/waiters: pretty freaking grumpy ass workers, were unpleasant throughout the whole night. They were stingy with the chicken and tri tip. They butchered the cake! That had to be their worst offense of the night. The chopped it up like fruit ninjas and made a big ass mess. We saw the carnival rides a few days ago and couldn't wait to come. The park is large with enough huge grandstands that look like they could fit the whole town. The parking lot is big and still had open space when we left around 3. The fair is broken down into sections like Soft City where there are bouncy castles or Doc's Farm where they had the show animals for the 4-H and FFA programs or the Carnival rides. My favorite section was the mineral and gems where I couldn't resist getting a few thin slices of rock. We walked in each section and had some good carnival food. Now, we are crawling back to go home. It was a great day with lots of enjoyable exhibits and fun rides to watch. I highly recommend the Imperial Valley Mid-Winter Fair and Fiesta. It has a lot of things to do for a small town. You get a feel like you've gone back in time.
