When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk was bothered by the fact that I was dropping it off and once I told him I had already spoke to someone that was going to get the car in and do the repairs, he reluctantly took my keys. My wife calls to check the status 4 hours after drop off just trying to come up with a game plan as we were over 500 miles away with no other transportation. The gentleman the. Told her it would be close to closing or a little after, so I got there at closing and buddy that mechanic didn't even let me finish speaking before he started being a complete jerk. The family that took me to drop me off, went in with me and left just as floored as I was at the way they began speaking and treating us. The morning after picking the car up at 10pm the night before, I checked the pieces under the hood to find everything they touched had been broken that was brand new when I dropped it off. Was finally able to speak to someone after providing proof from a local to me repair shop that even stated the issues were a result of the damage. The establishment refunded me for the labor cost that we paid to have them screw our car up and then had the nerve to blame everything on the mileage of the vehicle and my rudeness was the cause for the issues we are having. I requested they pay for the damages they caused to my vehicle and they have ignored me since then! I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. They are a joke and will come up with every excuse to not be held responsible for their crappy work. I have pictures of everything and if I could post them here, I would! Beware and ask around before using them because I have already heard of two local people that I know of in the last little bit that have gotten their vehicle back messed up and they refuse to fix the issues they know they have done wrong. This place is a joke that preys upon honest people that need car repairs! Don't use them!! I understand everyone has things going on that can complicate their day or make for a long day but that is life and no excuse for poor service and work with no quality at all.

I was extremely annoyed because I really dont know anyone in the area and dont know any mechanics. I looked at 5 mechanics and when I called 3 answered but no one could get me in until a couple days except Rivermont. It was my 2nd choice overall since it was out of the way from the hotel I was staying at, but I managed to limp the car over there with a combination of throttling and letting it coast. I let the guys know that I needed the car back ASAP and they had it ready at the end of the same day. Turns out it was a sensor or something like that causing knocking and hesitation. They diagnosed, got the part and fixed it all within 5 hours. I picked it up before rush hour and made it back to hotel and continued my stay in Chattanooga. I don't remember the guys name, but I think he was the owner of teh shop. He was 100% honest with me about what was wrong, he didnt try to upsell me crap I didnt need like other shops do where I live. Since I was from out of town he could have easily taken advantage of my situation and tried to overcharge or screw me, but he has integrity, honesty and respects people and their hard earned dollars. Not just a good mechanic , a good man. He just found out what was wrong and fixed it. I wish I could find an honest shop like this back where I live. I would have them do all maintenance on my vehicles and any repair. Hands down I would go here again, if you are looking for HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY mechanics this is your shop. Thanks guys for being kind to an out of towner and making it to where I could continue to enjoy Chattanooga with minimal interruption.

When I came in, I was immediately served (which I know is a rarity at busy car repair places). Jeremy Mayweather and the team looked over my car and found that the AC compressor relay needed replacing, so they quickly switched that out. He and his team took care of me, and even did a complimentary check/top of off my fluids. They were incredibly patient and kind, and it seems like my AC is now working properly. I know there are a lot of people out there who try to take advantage of customers, and I so appreciated the job that their team did, especially in the precarious time of COVID. I teach public relations and spend a lot of time telling my students about the value of good employees to represent a company. Their employees, especially Jeremy, were incredible brand ambassadors and have earned my future business. I look forward to working with them all again for all my car maintenance needs.

I called the second they opened, said bays are clear get you right in, car ready at 11.30 that is not my biggest issue, the bill is, and telling me how long and difficult finding a leaking heater hose when steam was spewing out and water pouring from the hose that I pointed at??? Despite an upfront, exact diagnosis of a visible fluid leak, the facility conducted billing practices that violate standard market rates: 1. Duplicated Labor Charges: The invoice shows a clear double-charge for a single repair. I was billed $87.50 for "Labor - Cooling System" and an additional $105.00 for "Labor - Heating & Cooling." Billing separate labor lines totaling $192.50 to replace a single, standard heater hose is a flagrant duplication of labor hours. 2.Exorbitant Parts Markup: The facility billed $72.99 for a standard molded rubber heater hose. The local retail price for this exact component down the street at O'Reilly Auto Parts is $35.00. Knowing corporate commercial wholesale pricing dictates a shop cost of under $20.00, a markup to $72.99 represents predatory price-gouging targeting a stranded customer who had no safe option to drive elsewhere. 3. Deceptive Staff Explanations: When I questioned the final $330.90 total, the service manager verbally claimed it took an excessive amount of time to "figure out which hose it was due to the complexity of the engine bay." This explanation is fraudulent. A pressurized cooling system leak requires zero extensive diagnostic time to locate visually. Furthermore, local competitors within the immediate Hixson area (including JAK-D Automotive on Hixson Pike) quote the exact same heater hose replacement, parts, coolant, and labor at $170.00 total 4.Plaza Tire Service used my emergency breakdown to pad their labor logs and double the price of basic retail materials, inflating a standard $170.00 job to $330.90.

It was slow, and I didn't really begin to notice it until I had to drive to Memphis in May with my fans only blowing hot air. So I bought a fan and a sunshade, grit my teeth, and kept driving. It was fine... for about a month. Then June rolled around and I couldn't do it anymore. I started looking for someone that could repair it and stumbled across this shop. I went to their website - great reviews, and they even specialize in Toyotas... bingo! I made the appointment and came in on my day off. They performed a test, found out my condenser had a hole in it, ordered the part, and repaired it all in the same day! I spent less than 4 hours when I was fully prepared to have to come back another day. They were incredibly nice and easy to understand, and I felt comfortable leaving my car with the shop. There was a small coffee bar, clean bathrooms, and a comfortable waiting room. The mechanic working on my car even drove me to the nearby McDonald's while they were waiting for the part to come in so I could grab some breakfast. Overall, he made the originally daunting experience much simpler and more pleasant than I expected. It's been about a week since I got it fixed, and my AC is still as cold as ice. I had no idea how bad it had gotten until it was working properly again. I'll definitely be stopping by again for my 80k mile service!
