I was impressed with the bright and very clean facility. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dr Newswander was professional and caring. I've developed a fungus on my toenails and I was actually ashamed to have them looked at but he trimmed and ground them so I could function better and put me on a program to get them cleared up. I went to see Dr. Danner for diabetic nail care. I can't reach my toes well and cut myself when I do it myself. I told her I think I have ingrowns because some of my toes hurt, and she said if they still hurt after she rounds them off I can come back for a permanent procedure. I told her I have fissures on my heals and asked if she could pair them down. She told me "this isn't a nail spa." My heals hurt and even I am trying to sleep my left heal burns sometimes because of the fissures. I have Cushing's disease which messed up all my organs and caused me to become diabetic and gain tons of weight. I can't help it and for her to say that really hurt my feelings. She was probably was someone who wanted to become a medical doctor and didn't have good enough grades and is mad at the world that she had to become a podiatrist instead. read more

Good podiatry care critical for me. I'm on my feet a lot and have some issues. Found Impression Foot and Ankle Center through the Banner health care system, so tried them out. Located adjacent to Banner Ironwood hospital in the Medical Arts building, just off Gantzel. Convenient for my San Tan Valley location and plenty of parking. Their suite is located on second floor (2 elevators can get you up there). Nice offices and very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The wait lobby has artwork created by one of the Docs!!!! This was second time I've been in, once for a check-up and today for some advanced testing. The techs today knew their stuff and I was in and out in an hour. Both times I've been in, I've been taken back and see the Doc or the techs within 10 minutes of my appt time. Full service podiatry, there are several docs associated with this practice, all seems well organized and knowledgeable. read more

Pretty disappointed with this visit. Neither the medical assistant nor the doctor (Dr.Danner) made any effort to be friendly or engaging. The doctor was in and out in about five minutes and didn't offer any real insight or support. I've gotten more helpful info from an AI than I did here. Image my surprise when I received a statement from my insurance showing I was charged $350.00 for an ankle brace. The very same similar boot that can be purchased on Amazon for $20.00! In addition to the equipment charge of $350.00, my insurance was billed $225.00 for the less than 15 minutes the doc spent with me. A total of $570.00! I have to say, I was pretty anxious about seeing a podiatrist, but I love these guys. I have recurring plantars fasciatis in both feet and a collagen disorder that makes my connective tissue really weak. I went from having really acute pain in my feet and frequent falls (up to 26 in one year) and sprains because of my lax ankles to almost no pain in my feet and only 2 falls this year -- and it's all because of these guys. They obviously researched or knew about my rare condition (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) and they made recommendations based on the proper standard of care for my condition. They are extremely nice, professional, caring, and thorough. The front office staff is awesome too. Love you guys!! (I added a pic of my sexy custom-molded leather ankle braces (I decorated them). Avoid this place. Their office is rude and they don't keep appointments. Today my college-age son was scheduled for a procedure that included some prep medicine. When he arrived, it was clear they did not have the procedure scheduled. The office staff looked perplexed and told him that the Dr had an "emergency" and all his appointments were cancelled. Apparently all of them except this one. That was hours ago and he has not heard back from them to reschedule. Go anywhere else! read more

Dr. Jeppesen was recommended by a friend. I'm glad because I was very happy with his consult and diagnosis, the staff were friendly and professional, the office itself was clean and COVID set up, the restroom was clean and the parking was easy. A staff member took x rays of my feet and Dr. Jeppesen took all the time I needed to answer all my questions about my foot problem and all my other feet questions. He recommended that I purchase HOKA shoes for my foot problem and if that doesn't fix it, maybe orthotics. He gave me the name of a shoe store in Tempe that offers a 90 day guarantee of shoe replacement if the pair doesn't work out until I find some that are helping. I have a follow up appointment in a month. I'll do an update if need be. read more

I went there a little more than a year ago. Dr Vella was really nice and accommodating. But the little gals in the back of the office were the worst, most rude little snots Ive ever encountered. I dared ask them a question and got my rear chewed out for asking anything. Front desk help wasn't much better. Attitudes were crap. Update: Thank you Cynthia for the update and good to know. I took my Mom there for the first time to get her toenails cut. That's it. I asked how much it would be and at first the girl said around $100 or so, she wasn't sure. I said please check for me because that's a lot to get her toenails cut. She came back and $65 and then told me Medicare hasn't been paying for it so I might have to pay that. I said that was ok. Then after the girl came in and cut Mom's toenails (also using the Dremel like machine and almost cutting her skin) the other girl said oh, wait I see on her that it is only $44 dollars. I said oh that's even better. Well I just received a bill from the office for a total of $225 of which Medicare paid $51. (which is more than the $44 she quoted me) Now they want my 88 year old Mom who has dementia to pay $174.00. Never going back there and would warn if you are new, get all quotes in writing. That was my mistake as I took them for their word. read more

I really like Dr Jeppeson. However, I've been trying to get surgery on my foot for a couple of months and his scheduler has never called me. I even made a second appointment just so I could tell Doctor Jeppeson that I haven't been called. He said he would have her call right away because she had already gone home for the day and still no call 3 weeks later. When you try to talk to someone in the office, they have an automated system that doesn't allow person to person communication. Just push numbers and leave messages which aren't returned. Poor front office. Waited 3 weeks for new patient appointment; called 1 workday prior to appointment stating they had to reschedule because no new appointments at 8am, but they could reschedule for following week at 8:15. Saw dr; he ordered X-ray; didn't show me X-ray just explained situation. Was going to see if Medicare would pay for a special patch; no response after a week. Left a voicemail after 5 work days; their message stated they would return call within 24 hours. 4 days later no response at all. Not a way to run a business. read more

I stopped going to this facility because of the billing. My last contact was in February 2015. Imagine my surprise when I get a bill from them for services on November 2014 for $40.00. Not only is it incorrect it is almost impossible to prove that it was paid. I don't have medical records from 2014 nor do I have the same bank account. It should be illegal for any facility to bill a patient after 5 years and 4 months of no correspondence. I would never return to this office because of their faulty billing practice. read more

I adore Dr. Jeppeson, he has been my doctor for many years, he is very empathetic and patiently listens. He explains different treatment options in detail in a manner that I can understand.
