We highly recommend Doctor Chase Moffat from Ocotillo Foot & Ankle Center. He's knowledgeable and his speciality in foot and ankle surgery is amazing. Our first visit to Dr. Moffat recommended surgery with an ankle fusion and the addition of a new talus bone at Arizona Speciality Hospital. Everything went extremely well after the surgery. Follow up appointments are going smoothly from the front desk to the doctor. I want to give a special shout out to the doctor's assistant Tara for her professionalism, kindness and great smile. I've been a patient for the past two months after breaking my ankle in early December. After being referred from my primary doctor, the office was able to accommodate me the very next day for an appointment! Upon my first visit, I was extremely impressed with the efficiency and kindness from the entire staff. Check-in was a breeze. I was called back for my appointment on time. In fact, I've been seen on time or early for every subsequent follow-up appointment! Now that's a pleasant rarity. Dr. Ghandhari was extremely informative during my first visit, explaining in detail my healing timeline and best practices so that my body could heal properly. I felt optimistic about my treatment plan leaving the office. I could tell that she truly cares about the wellbeing of her patients. During each follow-up, she has continued to impress me with the thoroughness of the exams as well as her ability to answer all of my questions The office also does their own in house X-rays which makes it extremely convenient and they can be read immediately. They have efficiently sent documentation to my employer substantiating my medical leave. To anyone considering a Podiatry office, please give Ocotillo Foot and Ankle a shot. I am very disappointed regarding how Dr Ghandhari & this staff treated by 84 year old mother. They fitted her for diabetic shoes [which are VERY expensive] & she continued to complain that they were not comfortable & wearable. After working with them on many "attempts" - she was told it was TOO late to return them. This is very poor patient service. I have been a patient of Dr. Ghandhari for several years. I have always wanted to write a review but have always been too busy. Well today that changes. I have been seen by 7 different Podiatrist's around the country in the last 13 years. Dr. Ghandhari is by far, the most knowledgeable and caring doctor of the last 7. It is very obvious that she honestly and truly cares for all of her patients. The level of care that her and the entire staff provides is above and beyond. A couple of months ago my husbands feet started to hurt around his heel to where it was so painful they hurt right as he got up in the morning. We researched foot doctors in our area to go to and picked Dr. Robert T Evans from this facility. My husbands first appointment was two weeks ago, and we had a second appointment today. The first thing I noticed about this place was this has got to be the best run doctors office I have ever been to. Both of our appointments were on time and even though there were also other patients being treated at the same time, he was thorough with my husband and at no point did we feel rushed to get through our appointment. At his first appointment the doctor was quick to diagnose my husbands foot problem and to offer solutions. He offered a quick fix for his painful heels before we could get back in and get some custom orthotics made, which is what he did at the second appointment. They did xrays, ultra sounds, and a thorough examination of my husbands feet on the first appointment. Today a second ultra sound was done to assess his healing progress. Dr Evans is a very kind doctor who actually cares about his patients and not just a paycheck. Every other doctor in the area needs to take lessons from him on how to run an efficient office. We are both very glad to have found this doctor. I would recommend him to anyone who has any kind of foot problem. read more

!!!!!WARNING!!!!!! If you value your limbs DO NOT get seen by Dr. Robert Evans. He should not be considered a doctor. He and everyone in his office are below terrible! Let me break down what happened to my dad, in a nutshell. He went there for an Achilles injury which got progressively worse over a period of a month. Towards the end of that month the skin over his Achilles started to discolor to a black/dark reddish color and he called in and spoke to Evan's assistant and sent them a picture fearing that it was getting infected. They told my dad that sometimes that happens and it is perfectly normal and it is nothing to worry about. Keep in mind my father has diabetes. The following week the spot over his Achilles is now black and skin has started to bubble. My dad goes into the office and is physically seen by Evans and is told again, by both Evans and his assistant, that it is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about. Two days later it is now OOZING PUSS! So I send a picture of his Achilles to my mother in law who is a nurse asking her if it looks infected. This was her response: "Looks infected. Cellulitis. Bet the skin surrounding that area of skin breakdown is warm to touch (was it a blister?) needs oral antibiotics no doubt. Higher infection risk with diabetes too of course." My dad calls in to the office asking to speak to Evans about it but is given his assistant instead. My father tells his assistant that the skin discoloration is black, with skin bubbles, and is oozing puss. Evan's assistant says IT IS NOT infected. We are irate at this point and take him straight to the E.R. to see a competent doctor. The E.R. Doctor says that it is clearly infected and prescribes him oral antibiotics and says that he could lose his foot if it continues to go untreated. He also mentions that they don't take any chances with swelling in the foot of diabetic patients. The E.R. doctor even checked up on my dad's MRI results, which Evans did not even get back to my dad about yet, and found out that his Achilles' tendon is completely torn and will require surgery to repair. I would not recommend Robert Evans or anyone at his office. They are incompetent from our experience and would not wish that kind of poor treatment on anyone. If you choose to, see him at your own risk. I can't even give them 1 star because they aren't deserving of any but yelp requires that you choose at least 1 star, so that's the only reason why they got one. Side note- the ER we went to was Mercy Gilbert and highly recommend them. He was seen immediately after we came thru the door and service, care, and competence was 5 STARS!! read more

I have been coming to the Chandler office for the last 5 years for cortisone injections in my foot. I also have referred many family members to this office however when I brought my son here today the front office staff was rude and difficult. Dr Mary Peters is a wonderful doctor and she used to have a wonderful woman working up front. Usually the front staff doesnt bother me but Jade was unprofessional, rude and trying to be unhelpful. I wont go to the Chandler location anymore Ill go to Ahwatukee instead. Its unfortunate because its farther for me but I dont want to deal with the snide comments, bad attitudes and general "I hate my lifeness" that Jade and other office staff displayed. read more

UPDATE: And the problems continue... It took me over 2 weeks to get the PT referral, so my first PT appt was a full month after surgery. I brought up my issues with the back office to Dr Evans at my follow-up visit & he said he would follow up on it & thanked me for bringing my concerns to his attention. So I hoped for some improvement in the office procedures. Didn't happen... After that referral ended, the PT office faxed notes to the dr & requested more visits. It took Dr Evans' office over a week to get it done, and only after I called to check on status! Even the PT office had been watching for a referral. So much for continuity of care! Still having pain, which I was told the surgery would correct, and I still can't wear a shoe. So after my visit this week, I'm done with this doctor & his office staff. My physical health is more important to me than all this & I'm honestly tired of dealing with the frustration over the staff's disregard. If all of this is happening to me (who has a lot of work experience as a nurse & advocate), you know it's happening to someone else! read more

If it was not for the excellent care that I receive from him and his staff, I would not continue if I did not firmly believe in his skills and care as a doctor. I am an amputee so the one foot I have I treasure very much. He also cares for stump, the amputated part that is remaining. He cares and it shows. I have been a patient of Dr. Maben for 7+ years and have found him to be a wonderful doctor. Granted, it's been a couple of years since I saw him last but I have been a patient for awhile. I called the office this morning (Friday) and did not have a good experience with the scheduler/office staff. I called because I had badly stubbed my big toe to the point where the nail was pulled back off of the nail bed and barely hanging by a thread. First, I asked for an appointment with Dr. Maben as soon as possible after explaining the situation. The scheduler told me that his earliest appointment was 20 days away. OK. Well, how about any of the doctors at either location. No, this was the earliest appointment (July 20th) that they had open. Really! I mentioned that I was concerned about the condition of the toe and possible infection. The scheduler/office staff told me that if I'm concerned about that then I should go to urgent care where they can give me antibiotics until my appointment. She couldn't have cared less! She didn't offer to put me on a cancellation list or to see what she could do to get me in sooner. I find it hard to believe that the practice has no spots left open for urgent needs/immediate scheduling anytime throughout the next week. Anyway, when I got home from work at 4:00 pm I looked on the Cigna list for another podiatrist and found another one close in Chandler. I called and they were able to get me in with the doctor on Monday morning at 8:30 am. Great! So to recap...Dr. Maben is a great doctor if you can get in...office staff/scheduler that I spoke with...not good at all! I was disappointed as I really wanted to return to their practice. read more

I have been seeing Dr Peters for two months and the service, care and treatment is excellent. They have X-rays in the office as well as fitting for custom orthotics. I am a runner and plagued with plantar fasciitis. I picked Dr Peters because she also runs and she does indeed understand the aches and pains and needs of a runner. Dr. Evans is amazing. I have been seeing him for several years now for plantar fasciitis and various other foot and ankle issues.
