BACK STORY: Our roof was damaged in a hail storm. Multiple roofers came to give estimates. One after another quoted a price for a replacement but would not make an affirmative declarative statement about the cause of the damage to trigger insurance coverage. Not surprisingly, my insurance company denied the claim. Even after a second insurance company appraisal, it remained denied. We were at a stalemate with them for 9 months. EXPERIENCE WITH IMPRIANO: Fortunately a neighbor recommended Impriano Roofing and Siding. Jack Impriano inspected the roof and confirmed there was extensive hail damage. He spent a lot of time and took great efforts to document the damage (about 150 photographs) and write up a comprehensive assessment. As a result of his efforts, our insurance company reversed itself and approved the claim--in full. We were delighted to discover the entire project was to be just as deftly executed. The Impriano organization is large enough to be both impressive and reliable but small enough to be personal. In the run up to the project everything was handled smoothly and with excellent step by step communication from the office staff (thank you, Claire!) The installation crew (under the direction of Christian) was friendly, considerate, efficient, and focused. They arrived, set up, and went right to work. They kept the worksite organized and uncluttered. Christian communicated clearly and effectively throughout the project. When finished, the job looked beautiful and Christian was clearly proud of what he had done. I paid for some upgrades and they were installed without question. They sent two different people to inspect the site and ensure the ground was free of nails or other debris. RECOMMENDATION: Impriano gets 3 thumbs up from us for a job that was excellent quality at a fair price. That's the definition of good VALUE. I can recommend them without any reservation. read more

I'm a first time homeowner of a row home in West Conshohocken, and the thought of replacing an entire roof was terrifying. But Impriano came recommended to me by 3 family friends who had their roofs done as well by Impriano so I knew they were legit. Everyone I've had the pleasure of working with at Impriano is professional, they go above and beyond, and are incredibly knowledgeable. The total roof replacement took 2 days for my house and my neighbors house (we got our roofs done together). Eric (the supervisor) and foreman on site were so nice and knowledgeable. They explained the process of what was going to happen and kept me updated the entire time. I felt confident that they, as well as the crew, knew what they were doing. The crew took the time to set up tarps to divert debris away from house, which seems like common sense, but I haven't seen other roofers take extra care to do that before. The guys also secured the sagging data line that runs from the street to my house, which saved me from having to call comcast to come out. The guys on the crew are also so nice and friendly! We hired Impriano Roofing and Siding to do do the entire exterior of our home. They did a superb job. They furnished and installed a new roof, new gutters and downspouts, new soffit, new capping for 22 widows and new siding. We were most happy and impressed with the reworking of two bay windows front and back of house. These were both outdated and quite unsightly. Greg Impriano called me prior to doing the job and suggested, instead of just recovering these, doing a redesign using the existing structure. He sent me a photo which we really liked. So we proceeded. Not only did the renovation look just like the picture, it looked even better! The workmanship was impeccable. I called to make an appointment on Monday for Impriano to come out to my house, and our rental property ( down the street from eachother) on the following Friday to provide a quote for roof work. I gave my address to the receptionist, set the appointment up, and called to confirm Thursday, the day before the appointment, and all was confirmed. Friday morning, mid-morning, I received a phone call from the same receptionist telling me that Impriano does NOT service Philadelphia and they cancelled my appointment. This was very frustrating, I should have been told this initially when I gave my address to the receptionist (which is a Philadelphia address) or on Thursday when I confirmed the appointment. Everyone knows how difficult it is to arrange work / schedules to make appointments with contractors when you have a full time job. I was very disappointed with this company. Additionally, they could not recommend the name of any other roofer in the Philadelphia area. In my opinon, Impriano has very poor customer service, regardless of the quality of their work. read more

This company has an underhand way of doing business. Their flyer offered "free estimates". I called them to request a free estimate for a roof repair to my house. They said I would have to pay $150 for a "diagnostic", which would be applied to the cost if they got the job. If they didn't get the job I would be out $150. When I said their flyer offered free estimates, their response was, "Yes, the estimate is free, but not the diagnostic". Er...don't you need to do a "diagnostic" to enable you to provide an estimate? Don't waste your time with this shady outfit. read more

I had extensive damage to my roof after Hurricane Sandy passed through, like many homeowners in my neighborhood and surrounding area. My contact, Jack, was able to set up a consultation quickly and was very flexible and willing to work with my standard 9-5 schedule. He was very transparent with his assessment of the damage (which was both external and internal as water had seeped into the insulation) and kept me informed at all stages. They also worked directly with my insurance company and ensured that every aspect of the repairs were being covered. As a result, I received my coverage check from my insurance company quickly and easily, without having to make a single phone call. Impriano Roofing was also very diligent when it came to ensuring the work complied with community standards, as my community is governed by an HOA. They quickly provided all necessary company insurance information, found roofing supplies that matched the approved shingles and quickly gained approval from the association. When it came to having the actual work completed, it was scheduled quickly, the employees were on time and professional, and I couldn't be happier with the result. My update. I saw Impriano's reply to my write up and so looked back in my files. I was wrong as to the timing. The original work was done in the summer of 2008 and the repair work done in spring 2010, before we sold our house. Four years ago, Impriano replaced our roof and Windows. Both jobs were done in efficiently. The workers were polite and cleaned all affected areas. In February we decided to replace the atrium door in our breakfast area. We looked at several contractors and contacted Impriano. They were competitively price and reliable. The job was completed in 4 hours. Everything was clean and all trash, including the door, was removed. We are satisfied with all aspects of the work completed. read more

Save some money! 2 shingles had come off my roof after a storm. Impriano came out gave an estimate for $375 saying they didn't know how much effort it would take to fix until they went up on the roof and that many shingles may need to be replaced (note-they didn't bother going onto the roof to prepare the estimate). They came and did repairs, took less than 30 minutes, still charged $375. read more
