Really good beef Döner & definitely a different taste than your typical Döner stand. They specialize in beef products here & have a ton of options on offer from Döner im Fladenbrot to lahmachun & pide. The place is packed & there's seating out front & in the back. I ordered the Classic Döner #1 here with spicy sauce added & it was great. The veggies could've been a bit fresher & their meat had a newer flavor I normally don't associate with Döner since they spice it on their own.Not the top option in Berlin but a very good one nonetheless. Check it out if you're around Kreuzberg sometime!

Ok this beef döner is delicious. The beef was very flaky and almost too dry for me but my brother seems to like it a lot (so maybe personal preference) but I do like the bread here a lot! For only €3 you are guaranteed to leave your stomach full and satisfied :) plus, great service and no line and nice seating area

Delicious beef döner for €3.50. The meat was cooked very well and would've been on the dry side if not for its seasonings and the delicious sauce in the döner. The veggies are very fresh and the döner is managable to both finish and to stay relatively cleanly. The bread is pretty good as well, though it got kind of tough at the bottom of the sandwich. I also saw several people sitting around us with Turkish tea, which looked really good as well. If I lived in Berlin, I'd probably be a regular here. Definitely come if you're looking for solid traditional döner; they also serve durum, soups, mixed plates, etc.

i saw Imren being recommended by a lot of different people online, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. I ordered the doner kebab, and it was only €3.50. the bread was warm and crispy on the outside. the beef was on the drier side, but the sauces made up for it. the sauces and the bread were what made the doner delicious. the place was full of locals which is how you know it's good. i think i liked mustafa's vegetarian doner more, but Imren has more options and meat. another plus is that the line is way shorter and you can eat inside which is helpful in the cold weather.

Hackfleisch pita - very good!

Wonderful, family run Turkish restaurant. Great food. Warm atmosphere. Homemade breads and careful attention to quality make this a "must visit" in Berlin.

It's döner. It's delicious. It doesn't cost too much. Don't expect a lot of the bathrooms and you'll have a great time.

Fairly good döner kebab. While not the best in the city, the lack of a mile long line made it worthy.

Al-Andalos - Some of the best food on this planet

Everything in the platter was delicious, but the falafel in particular was out of this world!!! It was so different from the falafels I'm used to. It's crunchy on the outside. And these falafels are HUGE! My friend lives in Berlin and this is her favorite place to eat. Come here if you have the chance, you won't regret it.

Al-Andalos is located in the busy part of Neukölln, right on Sonnenallee. On a Saturday night at 10 p.m., it was full to the rim. No seats, stressed out staff, people fight for seats and the spot in the line to get the delicious food. We ordered the Al-Andalos platter for two (meat) for 11 EUR, which comes with an entire package of Arabic/Lebanese bread. We were barely able to finish the entire plate, there are many tasty things on this plate and even my companion that night, who is generally not so quickly to impress, admitted that it was probably the best he has eaten in a long time. Fresh, tasty, large portions and fair prices. Staff is super friendly and attentive! I think I will have to drive out to Neukölln more often!

A chain of very good kebap places…read more We ate at the Imren Grill in Neukolln. Neukolln is a heavily Turkish neighborhood which is gentrifying. Outside of two shopping malls, most of the street commercial establishments are old school Turkish. There literally must be a dozen kebap grills within two blocks of Imren, Including a vegan one next door. The other kebap places had modest numbers of customers. (Modest in some cases meant none.) There was a crowd and a line at Imren. The crowd is half Turkish and half German families. The crowd is impressive given the large number of competing places that don't have many customers. Imren also gets the approval of both the Turkish residents of old Neukolln and the German residents of new Neukolln. That Imren is good is a major consensus point. * * * Imren really IS excellent. I had a durum which is kebap in a wrap rather than on bread. Durum is a hell of an easier way to eat kebap. Kebap can often be overflowing and messy when served on pita bread. At least one cooking secret of Imren is a superior spicy sauce inside the sandwich. At Imren, It is not so much that the spicy sauce is spicy. (Its not.) It is that the sauce is acidic. The acid cuts any fat or grease in the kebap and makes the dish tangy. The sandwich was intoxicating. * * * I did not get very much chance to enjoy my kebap. The place is small. The front has just enough room for the line, the counter and the kitchen where they fix your food. The back room is kind of "cheap tiny apartment in an older building." There is barely enough space for six compact tables and an equal number of stools against the wall. Whole families eat there. An army of people are in line. You hope you get a table after you get your food. You eat knowing that a whole corridor of people want your table. Eat fast and move on. * * * There are other places in Berlin where you can linger over your kebap, The most common lingering arrangement is a table on the sidewalk often with beer from a convenience store to make the occasion last. I am not much of a drinker of beer on folding chairs on sidewalks. However, if you want to linger, you can probably find a kebap place as good as Imren, Given that there must be over a thousand kebap places in the city. But you will have to do just a whole lot of looking. * * * There are some very odd negative reviews if you read the other reviews on Yelp. a) Some Yelpers don't like the fact that the staff is brusque. The staff IS brusque. They serve long lines on their feet all day while also having to do a lot of the cooking. They are under constant pressure to put out the food put out the food put out the food. They don't have time to chat and they don't have time for dillydallying. Give them your order and move on. There are people behind you. b) One Yelper claims Imren is a tourist trap - which he knows because he was born in Berlin. If he was born in Berlin, is he aware that Neukolln is NOT a tourist area? The tourists go to Mitte, and Museum Island and to the Brandenburg gate. No one is going to the Turkish residential areas. * * * Imren has its fans and supporters on Yelp. I would be more inclined to pay attention to the positive reviews.

Imren is the reason why 1 star review exist. Have you ever been scammed or went to a tourist trap?…read more I am a native berliner. Born and raised and this place is a disgrace. They spent tons of money in marketing and pay merchandise and YouTubers to promote their shitty spot. Why is it that bad? 1) For 4€ - the portions are almost just bread. I laughed when I received my Döner. Like seriously? 2) The taste - don't be fooled. Berliner Döner are way better than this. 3) Hygiene- we all love when the person serving you using his hands to do all the shit. Overall. I am very disappointed by Imren in all areas and disappointed by everyone who seriously promotes this place.
