Little did I know that I would be connected to THE PERFECT realtor. Tonya listened to my needs, wants, must haves and ran with it. I came across this company after taking my house off the market with another realtor and received a…read morephone call from one of their agents. Unfortunately, that agent left the firm and did not take me with her. After discovering I only had taken my house off the market and not terminated my contract with my previous agent, I decided to stick with Exit Realty and with a different member referred by the departing agent. Big mistake. The agent's attention to detail from the beginning was lacking. From missing a number on my address for a legal document to allowing a contract come to me with the buyer checking the " Did not receive the oil and mineral rights document", which was false. Fast forward, any time I called the agent she either never answered or told me she'll call me back and 90% of the time did not. Something was always going on with her. She was sick, the family was sick, dog sick, someone died, etc. The way she handled the construction projects with my house was beyond irritating to include the people she hired. Now, (house did not sell because buyer backed out the day before closing), I am finding out she consulted with the buyer's agent (sleeping with the enemy) to find someone to do my floors cheaper. Not only did NOBODY consult me with the type of floors I would want and the cost, but they hired someone who I could not find any credentials on (probably not licensed). Also, the person they hired to work on my HVAC is a licensed electrician, NOT a licensed HVAC person. Yes legally that is a big deal. I have the house rented and am mostly glad it did not sell. Who knows what the buyer would have gone through and probably would have tried to sue for breach of contract when it specifically stated all work was to be done by a licensed contractor. Had to call the Broker in Charge multiple times, and though her job is to always get both sides of the story, I feel like she was not holding her employee accountable. Worst experience ever.

Then they will sit on your house for months, just hoping someone will want to go look at it, with no real sales skills. The house did have walk-throughs, but then they would never go sweep a floor or dust anything down. Even making you aware that the home was getting unappealing was too much for them. The yard had gotten out of control, and it wasn't until I had inquired about it that they suggested having the yard mowed and trimmed up. When I had asked how things were going, it was an excuse after excuse on how it's my problem, the house isn't selling. Right off the bat, too, they never listed the brand new features with the home, and never emphasized the selling point of the home. Their answer to everything was "keep dropping the price". this was so pathetic. I believe these people are a self-licking ice cream cone while your house is rotting out on the market.
