Gutter Cleaning - An awful experience. They came while I was at work, billed be $80 (twice) and then when I had trouble with 1 of my gutters overflowing they refused to come back out saying it was past the 30 day limit (and noting that they usually only give a 7-14 day guarantee). They never mentioned a day limit and told me I was just trying to get "a free cleaning." He was nasty and made me feel like a dishonest customer. He (the "operator) said more leaves must have fallen in. Not so...I have gutter guards and they came at the end of the season when all of the leaves were off of the trees. I trusted them to do the work while I was at my job, but should not have. I gave them 4 other houses to clean the gutters on at the time, but that fact did not encourage them to try to fix the problem. UPDATE: I just had another company come out to check on the top highest gutter. I was right! It was clogged with OLD sludge/mush. In-Home NEVER CLEANED it in the Fall. I had the new company check the high gutter in the back of the house and it was ever worse. Full of old sludge/mush and brimming with water. The new company comfirmed that In-Home never cleaned those 2 gutters when they came in the Fall. read more

In-Home Window Cleaning did a great job cleaning the Screens and Inside / Outside of the windows. Cleaners were careful to take shoes off at door to not track dirt into the home. I have low-e glass on the inside of the windows ... they used mywindow cleaner to clean the inside of the windows (based on my request). Used their window cleaner to clean the outside of the windows. Did a real nice job. Used a 10% Discount Coupon for the job. read more

Having used this company for several years we have seen it devolve from a competent cleaning service to one that I cannot recommend. Price goes up each time and service declines. They are unable to give an estimate for their price increase without setting up an appointment and having their "independent contractor" give it to us when he arrives even though we have used their service for several years. Had them replace screens on sun room last year and the screens popped out several times. After several calls they finally sent a person to inspect and repair them, which he did. They popped out again immediately. When I examined the work closely I discovered that they had used the wrong size splines. Ended up doing the work myself with correct size after paying what I thought was an excessive amount for their incompetent work. I would not use them again. read more

I have use your service in the past and was always please With the workmanship and the over all job. Now here we are years later and I'm not pleased at all I asked for my windows to be clean inside and outside! In the past they always were complete and did the screens, wipe out all the tracks, took the windows apart and put them back together and that is what I expected this time. and they gave me a good price so I decided to go for it. I notice that the men were not doing the whole complete job so I ask them, Hey what's up in the past you did this and this how come you are not doing it this time??? their reply was I only paid for inside and outside, and I said exactly why are you not doing it what you're asking for is not included in our price. They said for that price we do the outside storm in the inside glass but not the glass in-between or the screens or the window tracks that would be much more money. There were issues with certain windows, so I called them to have them redone. They did not show up for the first appt, so I called again and they never showed up for the second appt. Also they overcharged me, when I called and discussed the overcharge with them, they said that they do not give refunds....to which I replied - I'm not asking for a refund, I want the money back that you should not have charged!!! No clean windows, over charge never addressed, no call back - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will never use this company again. read more

Update - 12/29/15 Received a unsigned small claims court document in the mail in early December with a threatening letter from In Home Window Cleaning. The court document was saying I owed $25 more than what was really owed (for them not finishing the job correctly). They cashed my first check, yet stated I still owed them the money. What the heck? Someone (Jeremiah?) also called my wife (not sure how hey got her phone number) before Christmas threatening her with legal action if the bill was not paid immediately (still not taking into account the check I already sent them). Nice way to run your business. Interesting that they want to be paid immediately, but will not come out and fix their screw up. Don't even bother using this company. Hired them to clean the gutters. Not only did they clean the gutters without making a mess, they also showed me a drone they found inside one gutter, and showed me the bag of shingle stone and other debris that they cleaned out of my gutter system. They did a walk around the house with me explaining which gutters had what in them, and even were observant enough to tell me what shape the roof was in on each side of the house when I asked them about it. They seemed patient, not rushed. I felt confident about the job that they did. They were also not expensive, being less expensive than the HomeAdvisor quote I was given. After 4 failed promises to clean my gutters this fall, they sit filled and overflowing this winter. Thanks for not showing up or apologizing for not seeing that it would be done by 12/8/16 as promised. I look forward to doing them in the spring myself, and to spreading the word about your multiple failures. While I was pleased with the window cleaning itself, their ladders left black marks on my walls. While I understand these things happen, any reputable company would try to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. Admittedly they did send someone out the next day to access the damage, but the chemical they utilized to fix it did not work and I still have big black marks on my walls. I informed them of this fact the next day and even sent pictures to show the marks. It's been 6-weeks and I have not heard from them since, despite repeated phone calls, emails and text messages. Needless to say, this has been a very frustrating experience and I would suggest you think twice before using their window cleaning service. read more

I have used In-Home window cleaning for five years now, to clean my gutters. Each year the price goes up without any explanation. They previously cleaned the gutters out by hand, maybe explaining the $175 price tag, but ...NO! ...they came and used powerful blowers, hence sending the dirt /slime and leaves all over my windows, decking, lawn chairs and Grill, plus making a mockery of my newly raked landscaped yard. Totally poor and unprofessional job, so disappointing and will I not be using them ever again!! read more

Terrible experience with this company!! We hired them to come out and clean our gutters and other than the fact that they incredibly prompt they were terrible. We paid $120 for them to send two people on our roof with leaf blowers and blow all the leafs to the ground. When I left my house for a meeting I noticed they hadn't cleaned up after themselves and upon bringing this up to someone at their office they sent someone back that "cleaned up". When I got from my meeting the flowerbeds were still a mess and my husband still had to spend two hours cleaning up after them. Never using their service again. read more

Just when you think you've found someone who has integrity and can do a good job, you find out differently. My husband and I have used this company for years to have our gutters cleaned and windows washed. They come out every Spring and Fall. This year, after speaking with my husband, he asked them to come clean the gutters but to wait until mid-November. They came out on Halloween day and guess what? None of the leaves were fallen. Now, here it is, the beginning of December and my gutters look like they were never cleaned. When we called the company to discuss, they just said "too bad, you should have called sooner". Do not use this company! Horrible customer service! I was over-charged they would not give me the over charged portion back. They forgot to clean one window, I called to re-schedule the receptionist said that they would be out Sat. no one showed up, no phone call to re-schedule. I called to see what happened she said that they would show up on the up coming Thurs. no one showed. I called to speak to the owner she said that he just left I asked when will he be back she said she didn't know that it's hard to say. I left my number for him to call me I never received a call. Invited this company into our home to clean window (in/out/screens). Fair job done on the windows (have used other companies in past which we believe did a better job), You would think they would have wiped the dust off of the window casing (high windows unreachable during weekly house cleaning), but did not, noticed it after they had collected and left. It would have taken an extra 5 seconds per window to wipe dust from the window ledge! Regretfully, they destroyed our decorative ivy growing up the front of our garage exterior. Years of development and growth! Some ivy had grown onto the window and we were asked would it be ok to trim off window...we said yes. They ripped the plants out of the ground and piled it up on the lawn. 5 wheelbarrows full...are you kidding??? Also noticed after they left. Immediately called the owner and he screamed at us saying it was our fault for asking the employee to trim it from window. Refused any responsibility. If this were not so unbelievable and destructive it would have been hilarious. We have never left a review or criticism anywhere ever about anyone. This is our first and cannot state it strong enough. BEWARE! Oh....they may ask for cash...and offer a discount! Wonder what that's all about??? read more

They washed my windows inside and outside, besides the streaks, my outdoor motion censored lights no longer work all of a sudden, and it looks like they messed with my security system box in my basement and took a key from it. Not sure if I should waste my time and call them to complain or just call the police. read more

This company will not be returning to my home. I have had this company out to clean gutters and wash windows in the past and everything went fine. This time, I only asked for the gutters to be cleaned. I was livid when I saw how they left the deck. They apparently dropped the gutter crap off the roof onto the deck making a mess of the furniture and everything below. They did pick up some of the loose junk, but dirt was everywhere. This is not an acceptable practice whether there was furniture there or not! The junk should be placed in buckets or tarps. When I pay someone to do a job, I don't expect to spend an hour and a half cleaning up after them! read more

Horrible service. Came to clean our gutters and somehow, the paint on our stucco chipped off. I called the manager and explained how distraught my mother was when she came outside to see that there was a huge spot of missing paint. Manager then responded with excuse after excuse about how their ladders are cushioned with thick wool like material that doesn't scratch, and how "if the paint chipped off, then the stucco was probably in need of replacement anyway". Very poor service; the manager did not take responsibility for anything, nor did he apologize or attempt to resolve the issue; only offered to text me photos of what their ladders look like. It is not his place to make a judgement on the condition of our stucco, and at the end of the day, HIS company left our house in WORSE condition than it was prior to their services. If he thinks the the condition of our stucco was so bad that it warranted all these excuses, then why didn't any of the associates on the scene attempt to tell us that there was a risk of our exterior falling apart, or even after the fact, to tell us that it DID actually fall apart? read more

I paid $265 to have this company clean the exterior windows, screens and the gutters. After inspecting the job they had done, I noticed that they had missed a screen completely as it was still dusty and there was a 3 week old spider web attached to the screen. They also missed an upstairs window (as there was still dried bird poop on it) and the brick on the front of our house has massive black streaks now from them cleaning the gutters. Our brand new mulch also has roof debris in it. I called the company and told them about the missed screen and the lady was rather unconcerned, stating that the July 4th weekend was approaching and they would not be returning to my neighborhood anytime soon. She promised they would return on July 5th and guess what? That is today and no truck appeared. Surprise surprise. I cleaned the brick myself and will have to put up with the spiderweb. I am regretting calling this company, as others were about $20 cheaper. I only went with them because they could "fit me in" sooner than the others. We called to get a quote for window cleaning and were told they quote over the phone based on square footage, rather than sending someone to the house. They had the lowest quote, so we set up an appointment to get our windows cleaned. When the workers got here, they told us that our sun room was not included in the quote, and the sky lights that were quoted as $8.00 each meant $8.00 per side. Our sun room was built at the time we built our house and is not an add on, but is actually a year round room. We called the office to see if they would honor their original quote and we got nowhere. This seems to be a common occurrence because they were not the least bit surprised by our call. We agreed to the new charges because we needed our windows cleaned and did not want to go through the hassle of setting up another appointment with a different company, even though we had lower quotes. The guys that did the work were professional and did a great job, unfortunately they won't get a chance to work here again. read more

We hired this company to power wash our home's two-story exterior. The charge was $300 and the results were good. However, the next day we discovered a portion of our 12x15 rear deck was discolored. Apparently, some of the chemical they used to clean our siding had spilled onto our deck and they had rinsed it off. Unfortunately, it left the deck looking bad, as one section was an entirely different color from the rest of the deck. When we called the company to complain, the company's owner (Jeremiah Frazier) informed us that they would come back and power wash our deck for $200. He claimed this was less than half of what they normally charged. This was hard to believe, as they power washed our entire two-story, 2400 square foot house for $300. In addition, we got another quote to power wash both our rear deck and our smaller front deck, and it came in at $225. But the bottom line is, we shouldn't have had to pay anything, as the problem was created by their employees. When we pointed all this out to Mr. Frazier, he basically told us to take a hike. We will never hire them again, and we cannot recommend them to anyone. read more

Hired In-Home Window Cleaning from a coupon I received in the mail. I hired them to clean the leaves out of our gutters. I came home to find 50 % of all the leaves from our gutters dumped in our flower beds and blow all over our lawn. I had to spend two hours cleaning up all the mess that they left in our yard. We contacted In-Home Window Cleaning by telephone and left several messages that their crew dumped 50% of the leaves on the ground etc. They never called us back . We did however leave the two huge piles of leaves for In-Home Window Cleaning to come back and bag. Weeks later someone finally showed up at our home when we were at work and put the leaves in bags, but left them in my yard. I called In-Home Window Cleaning to let them know that I would be deducting $35.00 from the $100.00 bill for the two hours of work I had spent cleaning up their mess in my yard. They were extremely rude, unprofessional, and continued to call me and send me bills for the $100.00. I would not recommend In-Home Window Cleaning. read more

I paid In-Home Services to clean my gutters. They said they would come during the day while I'm at work. I never saw any signs that anyone came to the house and they were suppose to leave a bill in the mailbox after the service was performed but never did. I watched as little trees grew in my gutters and just when I had had enough I got a bill from them with a late charge. A month in a half after they supposedly clean my gutters I already had trees growing in them. I ask if someone could come over to check as to why I still have stuff growing if they had clean them, and they said they would be happy to for another fee of $350. We decide to invest in a 32' ladder instead and found about 3" of dirt combined with chips of the old roofing we replaced YEARS AGO and a layer of moss on top. NONE of the down spouts were draining at all which was something that they had assured would be done, but clearly not. Nothing and I mean nothing was cleaned out, it was caked in from years of debris not a month and a half of debris. We photographed and video all the stuff we pulled out of these gutters, and no judge would say after looking at them that they were cleaned out recently. They lied about performing a service and took my money knowing they did not and then wanted more money to come back and 'do it again'. There's plenty of people that clean gutters, do not trust these guys. read more
