I think I finally cracked the code. As a Northeasterner I have always been skeptical of their brand. It always seemed underwhelming. However watched a few tiktoks to master my order. Got the fries well done, Animal style & the double patty with grilled onions. I was throughly impressed. This experience definitely compared it to the likes of Five Guys or Shake Shack. Make sure when you order here... check your order even if it's just a simple "extra grilled onions on your burger" hell let's take it a step further, EVEN if you just asked for a cup of water because you'll never know what's inside that mystery box. The wait..........is LONG! I arrived around 11:20am to order and didn't get my order close to 12pm! This is not In-N-Out! This was In N never out! It's a drive-thru so no seats inside only two or three tables outside. Prepare to eat in your car or drive back to your home or office. One staff saw me and walked away to do something else when I arrived at the Order window. Then another staff came over and took my order. Then I waited and picked up at another window. Even the area waiting for your food is small and felt awkward! Definitely not worth the wait. Too long and too crowded during lunch traffics! When you leave the parking, there's only Right turn so you'll have to keep driving further down to do a U turn. I love In-N-Out but not this location. read more

This one is a drive-thru only with two order lanes, but if you're on foot, there is a window you can order from. They also have some outdoor patio seating, but not much. Since there are two lanes, and no indoor customers, the lines goes by quick. If you'll be taking your meal to go, and you're in Santa Ana, this is the best one to order from. read more

This is probably the worst drive-thru location as far as logistics, speed, and accuracy go. It's located off Bristol, and currently there's a ton of construction going on so it's even harder to get into the lot, so avoid this location at all costs during any rush hour. The staff is nice, but they are insanely slow. Even when it's an off-time, the line moves at a snail's pace, so prepare to spend at least 30 minutes getting your food. The same issue occurs if you try to order from the window, so you might as well wait in your car. To add insult to injury, I don't think I've gotten an order correct in all the times I've gone here, even when I've corrected staff about what I've ordered. The food may be fresh, but it's not what I've waited for. In short, if you're willing to wait 30+ minutes for a burger that will probably be incorrectly prepared, then give this location a shot. I personally would rather drive a bit further to another location to avoid the headaches. read more

A fantastic old school In-N-Out with the drive thru in the middle of the restaurant and plenty of ample outdoor seating and non-existent indoor seating. I ordered a #1 with the double double animal style with whole grilled onion and it was cooked to perfection. The toasted bun was a nice touch as some in n outs fail to toast the buns enough (in my opinion). This place had a perfect toast ring around the bun and it made a big difference. The service was prompt and friendly and looking inside the kitchen which was behind the cashier it was clean and well kept. Highly recommend checking out this specific location if it's a nice day outside and you are looking to go back to the 1990s and are nostalgic for drive thrus. read more

The fries weren't as hot as they should've been and the overall flavor profile wasn't giving. I wouldn't even eat the fries if they were plain with ketchup. I also got a chocolate milkshake, and that was definitely the move. I was slurping that thang like my life depended on it until I saw a woman get hit by a car. That really ruined my vibe. Anyway, the prices were better than any other place around. I think it was cheaper than McDs. I also saw their grilled cheese on GMM the other day and I probably wouldn't order it btw. I think aside from the one time they messed up and gave me a plain hamburger (could've been someone else's order), this place is pretty solid and is prompt in making the burger and fries. I sometimes go thru the drive thru, not a huge fan of the left side drive thru just cause the window is on the right right, and away from the drivers seat, so if you have a passenger than maybe that side is okay, otherwise I like to do the right side drive thru and even during the lunch rush, it does move quickly so I appreciate getting a quick bite from this In-N-Out. There's some outdoor seating but no indoor seating as this is one of those drive thru with a pick up window for walk up orders. There's also construction going on the street but the place is still open for business during the road construction. Just make sure to plan accordingly as it takes longer to get here. Staff is usually pretty friendly and will plenty of parking if you want to park and pick up food. read more

Finally got the chance to try In-N-Out Burger and while it was delicious, it didn't blow me away. Went late on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed. Didn't want to wait in the drive thru line so we went in. Didn't take long for our order, cashier was good and took our order as we grabbed one of the many booths inside. We each got a cheeseburger, I got the double double and an order of fries animal style of course! The burger was delicious, you are better off getting the double because the toppings overwhelm just the one single patty. The animal style toppings on the fries were delicious, just wish the fries themselves were better, they felt a little over cooked and dry. However, this place is a must try and has the nostalgic and allure to trying it for the first time. I am sure I will get it once more before my vacation is over. read more

Since I'm back at work by the time I make this discovery it is inconvenient and impossible to drive back before my lunch time is over. This In-n-Out is mostly consistent with quality and speed. Context: Today was disappointing. I used the drive thru. The service was slow and many cars had built up over a span of ten or so minutes (I'm being nice and sticking with ten). The car in front of me seemed to have an issue with the cashier. I wasn't sure whether it was the patron or the worker that was the source of the issue. Issue: Nevertheless, I pulled up to the window and realized that the cashier, David, was the problem. He did not greet me as he was preoccupied talking to his peers, he then took my payment, went back to his friends to talk, then came back to hand me my food which had be sitting on the counter near the card reader the whole time. Not only was he inconsiderately slow at serving me but he lacked the courtesy to at least say a simple, "sorry for the wait". If you need to vent, get yourself together, handle your business, knock out the line, then move on to your personal affairs. Takeaway: It is clear that David does not care about his job nor the guests that he works with. If you don't care, consider employment elsewhere more suitable for your pace. It is simply inappropriate to have someone that slow working a drive thru. Overall, this was only one bad instance of the many occasions that I have been here, hence, the four stars. tldr: Employee working drive thru was slow. I LOVE the new facelift or the new retro design. I stopped coming to this location because of the heavy traffic and the gas station next door. We drove by and we had to check it out! AMAZING new set up. SO welcoming for all and if you just want to do a drive-by it is all ready for you with two car lanes. The property is alot bigger for all to fit. No more traffic back up into the street like it used too. The service and burgers? Well, In and out never fails! Stellar wrap-around service! Big parking lot BIG everything except the burger patty is the same! It is actually a beautiful design with pretty California native plants in the front landscape. It is the "Boujiee" In N Out of OC! The crew all looks like they are in high school but who cares the kids take seriously how fast they have to jam. So, Yes they are fast! Our visit was a sit down and naturally we enjoyed our fresh air outside. I feel almost a sense of pride that it is located in front of SAC! Not far from the Orange crush.
