We feel that dancing for young children should be fun and creative and that teachers should be child friendly, fun and keep the instruction age appropriate. We found Pamelot almost a year ago and immediately loved it and could instantly feel the difference from other studios. The atmosphere is so relaxed and the owners are so kind and personable and are genuinely just really nice people who care about their students and parents and welcome and ask for parent input in regards to their programs. The teachers are wonderful, fun, energetic and are very good with children. The facility and dance studios are clean and every room has a viewing window with plenty of seating for parents to wait and watch their children dance. This is very important to me as a parent and something other studios do not offer in all rooms. They also regularly invite parents into the room to watch the children perform something they have learned. They even have a lounge room with tv and activities for siblings to wait in while their siblings dance. This makes waiting so much more relaxing for us parents. We love everything they offer including the month long summer camps and find that making the drive from Rocklin to Auburn is so worth it for us. Thank you Pamelot for offering such a wonderful family atmosphere, fabulous instruction and an amazing experience for girls and boys! You rock! :-)

Not only do they do full Main Stage Productions at McLaughlin, but they also offer Junior Musical Programs and Mini Musical Production Workshops for all ages. The owners have been in business for decades and have a very extensive resume to boot. They like to give back in a phenomenal way, and often you will find fundraisers and local vendors when you visit for shows. I love coming to shows at McLaughlin and supporting the Loomis Community! A note about parking: It will fill up if you do not arrive early for theatrical productions! There is plenty of street parking on Swetzer Road if this happens.

I would never recommend it to anyone looking for a positive theatre environment. In my opinion, the company cares far more about money than the kids. There are fees for what feels like everything, and parents are expected to volunteer and help with almost everything they do. It never felt like enough unless you were giving them more time or more money. The building was also often very dusty, and it didn't always feel like the healthiest environment to be spending so many hours in. The favoritism was unbelievable. I watched the same people get opportunities over and over while others who worked just as hard were constantly overlooked. I was there for years and never got a role that reflected the amount of effort I put in, which made it feel like talent and dedication didn't matter nearly as much as being one of the favorites. There was also constant drama, and from my experience, people would get pulled into private rooms and be accused of things they didn't do without feeling like they were given a fair chance to explain themselves. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere where people were scared of getting in trouble over rumors or misunderstandings. I also found it very unprofessional that staff members would speak negatively about students behind their backs. Hearing adults who are supposed to support children gossiping and saying hurtful things about them was incredibly disappointing. Overall, I left feeling like this company had serious issues with favoritism, professionalism, communication, and how they treated students. In my opinion, the only reason it continues to be successful is because it has a large budget and strong financial support, not because it provides a good experience for its performers. Based on my own experience over several years, I would strongly encourage parents and young performers to look into other theatre companies before choosing this one.

Sloppy Workmanship Concrete & deck - The joints are visibly misaligned and the pool deck slopes in places. When I asked for this to be fixed or compensated, they offered a token $400 credit against what I estimate to be a $2,000 mistake--after we had already spent nearly $30k in additional concrete work. Their response? "Our margins are already so low." That's not my problem. It felt dismissive and manipulative. Fence - To meet code, we had to reverse the swing of our fence door. The contractor they sent left a mess--cutting the door unevenly and leaving a large gap. The fact that I even have to spend my time following up on this speaks volumes about their quality control (or lack thereof). Heater install - They installed the pool heater with no condensate line, so water spilled directly onto the concrete deck and left stains (photo attached). I had to chase them down just to get that fixed. Their "fix" was running giant exposed PVC lines across the deck. And now the unit is leaking again. Pool finish - The plaster work is uneven, with rough, jagged steps and visible spots of chipped gunite. You can feel it every time you get in the pool. 2. Disorganized and Disruptive Crews Scheduling was a total mess. Crews either didn't show up on scheduled days or showed up unannounced. One morning we woke up to find the owner tearing out our landscaping to lay skid boards for the bobcat. This was never even discussed. During excavation, the bobcat tore through our irrigation system, flooding our front yard. Despite multiple follow-ups, the issue was never fully fixed--and still leaks to this day. We often felt like pushing harder for resolution would jeopardize our relationship or our warranty. That's not how a customer should feel. We have email after email where we're left chasing basic updates: "What time tomorrow?" "Actually, he can't make it; we'll reach out in a day or two." 3. Condescending Customer Service Any time we raised concerns, we were met with either silence or thinly veiled condescension. The concrete credit negotiation was especially frustrating--using their internal cost pressures as a reason not to fairly address our complaint. When we brought up the heater runoff issue, the response was to "come take a look sometime"... and then nothing. Radio silence. Bottom Line We spent over six figures and ended up with: * uneven concrete * stained decking * a leaking heater * rough, unfinished plaster * a broken irrigation system * and a pile of ignored emails If you care at all about quality, communication, or customer service--do yourself a favor and go with someone else.

Yelp wasn't around when my pool was built by Courage Pools 20 years ago. They build durable…read morequality pools. My original main pump is still running. The spa heater still works. The only items that broke are 3 of my 4 pumps but they lasted more than average. Replaced jet pump in 2013, waterfall pump in 2015, salt chlorinator in 2016 and pool sweep booster in 2019. The control panel still works but I plan to upgrade to a newer model with better remote control. I think the dual skimmer design may have helped with the longetivity of my pump besides making sure they are shaded during the triple digit summer heat. Don't pay attention to the one-star reviews that dragged down the overall rating. Read them carefully and they are all petty complaints. Courage Pools is a premium and the best in the county. If you want to pay more for lesser quality go with the other companies especially the acronym PP.

Is Natalie J. for real? First off, I was there when this incident happened with her ill-disciplined children. The children almost technically destroyed studio property, and disrupted 2 other classes going on at the time with their noise. The instructor decided the best discipline was to end class early and send them home. If I was their parent, I would have agreed to these consequences, with further actions of my own. This woman had the nerve to blame the staff for her children's behavior. In Sync Dance is not a baby sitting service, but a performing arts institute who should not have to worry about irresponsibility and poor manners. As far as Kevin and the staff at In Sync, they go beyond necessary measures to ensure the children feel safe, loved, and welcomed by all who teach and attend the school. All serious discussions to parents (including by Kevin) have been for great reason, mainly to discuss with a parent a disruption a child may have made...like any other teacher at any other school would do. It is sad that Natalie decided it was In Sync's fault her children are not respectful. This is a place to get your children involved with. These kids turn into the model, responsible young adults we need in society today. Not to mention it is a non profit organization which the kids help raise funds for, to charity the community with. Amazing how one can write a rediculous review like Natalie's when she didn't even have a chance to really see how amazing In Sync is...because she was too busy attempting to "properly" discipline her children. read more

Incorrect technique, incorrect alignment, that is having to be re taught after several years at this studio. I found this out from a studio which puts out dancers to professional ballets all over the world. I feel like it was a waste of money and time of incorrect teachings for several years. The current studio maintains that it would have harmed her feet, and the improper muscles were being used, which can do a lot of damage. The owners are extremely moody, arrogant, cold, and have tempers towards customers. There is a lot of bullying here by certain kids that get away with it, especially if the mother volunteers a lot. I learned not to trust the owner's judgment about certain children's behavior because later it turned out not to be true. I had scolded my daughter numerous times, despite my intuition. Never again. The verbal abuse, and controlling and negative teaching tactics were harmful. There was an attitude that praise was not given because then the kids will not do well. However, I have since learned, and really felt all along, that the nicer instructors with a positive teaching environment, actually put out better and happier dancers. The artistry was good for a small town company, but absolutely not worth the negatives. My daughter is happier and in a much better emotional place because we are no longer there, and she learned greatly from this experience how not to be. read more

If you are looking for a dance studio, this is the one!! What an amazing studio with a caring staff. My daughter has been dancing at In Sync Dance for 1.5 years and she absolutely loves it. She is almost 13 and had never danced before! They are patient, dedicated, positive and talented. From day one, they were friendly and when I have a question or concern, they answer my emails after hours and on weekends. I was a new dance mom and they always made me feel welcome. I have asked my daughter what she loves about In sync and she says "I love my teachers! "One of her teachers is actually the owner! Miss. Jesse loves what she does and it shows. I am amazed when I watch my daughter dance. She has learned so much and it is because of this studio! When Covid started it was such a challenge for everyone. They follow all the proper procedures to make sure everyone is safe while still enjoying their class whether it is on zoom or in person. They work on the weekends to put together an in person schedule and never complain. I am truly impressed with how they have handled a difficult situation and still keep a smile on their face(even though we cant see it) LOL. We are blessed to have this studio in Auburn. read more

-Poor customer service and people skills, owners are moody, cold, and temperamental -Excessive favoritism -Excessive bullying not taken care of -I learned not to trust the judgment of the owner in regards to what was happening in class after I brought up the constant bullying, after I learned I had erroneously scolded my daughter numerous times for no reason after later finding out the facts which my daughter had been adamant about, and a instructor confirmed. -Alignment was not taught correctly and is having to be retaught, to the point that it would have harmed my daughter's feet and muscles were being used incorrectly. -Technique was incorrect, as I found out from a studio that puts out dancers to well known professional companies around the world. -Verbal abuse and controlling/fear based negative teaching tactics -Trouble giving encouragement or praise -Good artistry for a small town company, but again, not correct technique if you want your child to learn right from the beginning or go on past school age So glad my daughter is no longer there, and feel like it was a wasted several years regarding what she was taught. read more

That was very interesting review below- considering I witnessed the exchange between the yelper and the instructor; please remember that this was only one side of the event that occurred and not a whole lot of people take criticism of their children's behavior happily. Aside from that, my daughter has been dancing at In Sync for 5 years. The staff and owners (including Kevin) treat my daughter like family. She considers the studio a second home. She gets quality instruction that you wouldn't find anywhere near the area- have you seen their annual ballets? The choreography is beautiful and professional. I encourage you to go if you are curious about the studio. Their Company dancers also perform at various events throughout the year and these showcase other dance disciplines as well - also beautifully done. Heck, these kids have also danced at Disneyland. If these kids and the parents were at all unhappy with the studio, would 30 kids have gone to Disneyland and dedicated themselves to all the extra work involved? I had the pleasure of attending another In Sync Nutcracker production this past weekend. I've enjoyed watching these hard working dancers perform the Nutcracker for the past five years, and they keep getting better and better. It's so obvious that these dedicated dancers and instructors work incredibly hard with countless hours of rehearsal to bring such a high level of entertainment and representation of the arts. I am also impressed with contributions this dance studio brings to our community. In Sync partners with a local children's cancer charity and proceeds from lobby sales are donated to Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance. The ballet of the Nutcracker this last weekend was fantastic. There were many levels of dancers from little ones to the experienced girls who were in major roles with tutus. The way recreational students were blended into the show was great. There was a part for everyone. It was apparent of the amount of work that went into this performance from the sets, to costumes, to dance routines. Yes, there were lots of dancers out there and it was good to see a full stage of dancers. The story stays the same but the presentation is always changing so it is a new show each year. I, myself have never witnessed anything but amazing from the studio. The staff members (including Kevin!) go above and beyond to create a fun and safe learning environment for the students. My daughter has been dancing there for 2 years, and is old enough to appreciate the discipline and extra "push" she receives to help her become a better dancer. I took some classes there this summer, and the teacher is very good. While it is a smaller studio than what I'm used to, you get a lot more individual attention. I only took some ballet classes so I don't know what their other classes are like, but I would assume just as good. Everyone there is very nice, and the instruction is fabulous. read more

"Word up" about buying tickets: do NOT buy the floor (white) seats UNLESS you can get the front row. The seats behind the very front row have NO view, and the people in front of you in this section who used their cell phones to record ABOVE their heads blocked our view even further. We were straining our necks, and bobbing left and right just to to try to see a few kiddos in each of the performances. It was further frustrating to be additionally blocked by these people in front of us who were holding their cell phones up above their heads. Why are people so thoughtless? The director CLEARLY stated "no cell phone recording", but these people felt entitled to do as they pleased and to heck with those of us behind them . What a great dance school, and WOW, such talented kiddos! We'll return again, but we'll make sure to book better seats for sure next time.

It's located in the business park across from the Roseville DMV, so it's pretty convenient, especially if you live in west Roseville. The instructors and staff are like family to us now. The center focuses on developing the dancers beyond technical skills. With COVID-19 forcing the owners to downsize, the operation is now down to two dance studios/rooms. They're requiring masks and the use of hand sanitizer as you enter/exit. Both studios are cleaned between classes and the floors have markings for dancers to maintain distancing throughout classes. A Huge Difference in Training!…read more My two daughters had been training in Sacramento for several years in different types of dance programs, but unfortunately we were not seeing real progress or clear direction in their ballet training. Everything changed when we met Oksana and Arsen. We actually started driving to the Bay Area so the girls could train with them, and we continued doing this over an extended period of time because the quality of training was completely different. Their teaching is extremely detailed, structured, and focused on proper classical technique. For the first time, my daughters began to truly understand their goals and what it takes to become strong ballet dancers. When Oxana and Arsen moved to the Sacramento area and opened their school, we were incredibly grateful. Sacramento has many dance schools, but what was missing was this level of serious classical ballet training, discipline, and passion for the art form. Since training with them, my daughters' love for ballet has grown tremendously because the program is focused, professional, and inspiring. We feel very fortunate to have teachers with this level of experience and dedication in our area. Highly recommended for families looking for true classical ballet training.
