I've been coming to In The Cut for a while now, and I can honestly say I wouldn't go anywhere else. For myself and my two boys Fern is our go to guy every time. He's super consistent with his cuts, always takes his time, and never rushes the process. What really stood out to me, though, is how patient and calm he was with my sons when they were first nervous about getting haircuts. Probably the most disappointing barbershop experience I've had. I had a 5:00 PM appointment but didn't get in the chair until 5:20. I booked a week in advance for a haircut and beard trim, specifically asking for one of their best barbers. Instead, I was given someone with only a year of experience who seemed pretty inexperienced. They still charged me $50, which felt way too high for the service I got. Came in after seeing them pop up on my Yelp feed. I haven't had much luck with barbers in the area. Some are good and always busy. It's understandable that there will be a wait time, but when barbers cant talk to each other and cut hair at the same time, that's when it gets annoying. Here at In the Cut, I brought my son and myself and they were busy when we walked in. It was a Friday, so it was expected. We sat down and there was three guys ahead of us. I scoped out the place and it was nicely painted, fresh and you can feel the guys had pride in their shop. They were all very attentive with their clientele and they took their time cutting and making sure they did their best. As more people came in, they always said 'hello' and told them that they would be attended shortly. When it was my turn, my barber greeted me and asked me what I wanted. He asked me a few questions, just to make sure he gave me the best haircut. As the cut went along, we talked and it made time go by quicker. Not once did he stop to just focus on talking to me or to anyone else, he kept cutting which is a big, big plus. I also had him trim my beard. He took his time and detailed it really well. Prices are about the same as other local shops and their service is definitely up to par with other great shops. I will definitely be coming back here for my next haircut. read more

Would do negative -5 stars if possible, talked on the phone with Joey, he was completely rude and was saying he doesn't accept cash. He said I was insane that I didn't want to make an appointment online, but that's bc it requires you to INPUT DEBIT/CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, and I simply said I wasn't comfortable with that. He said NOT A SINGLE other barber would cut my hair without giving them my bank information first. I think JOEY is insane for the way he treats customers. Horrible "policy" don't go, don't make an appointment, call in and feel their unsatisfactory customer service before even considering. read more

I was able to book appointments for my two sons online fast and easy. Luckily they had two barbers available at the same time for each kid. I have a squirmy 3 year old and an 8 month old. Our appointments were with Rudy and Fernz. We were greeted walking through the door, both guys did amazing jobs with the boys' hair. They were both very patient with them! i called to see if there was any availability and luckily Junior happened to have an opening. reading the Yelp reviews i didn't read any reviews mentioning Junior so i wasn't sure how this was gonna turn out, this being my first time getting a cut at ITCB. VERY happy with my fade and cut. Took my one year old here for the first time because a friend of mine recommended this place. I called ahead to make sure it wasn't busy and whoever answered the phone told me it's pretty slow to just walk in. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and we were serviced quickly. Our barber was Lalo. He did hands down so amazing on my son. My son does not sit still and I know it's not easy to get the haircut I was asking for on a child who does not sit well. Lalo did amazing, he was patient and focused the whole time. He did even better than the photo I showed him. I'm loving my son's haircut. $16 is fair priced as well. Great haircut for the hubby! He showed them a picture of what he wanted and they cut it exactly how it was. The barber cutting his hair, Antonio, was extremely cool and polite. Quite a professional barber shop if you ask me. Also, we got there 3-4 minutes late, and they still had our appointment reserved. He actually still had his previous appointment on the chair so hubby had to wait a few minutes. Price is great too! a standard $30 for a hair cut, not bad. the ONLY DOWNSIDE, they take an hour. we've been to several barbers around town, and just about every barber takes an hour for a basic haircut. in Florida, you're not sitting no more than 10-20 minutes, depending on the kind of haircut and barber. He never wants anything fancy it's just a simple fade, not sure what takes so long... We sure will be coming back! I'm new to L.E and I found this location on here (Yelp). So I decided to give this place a try. I walked into this barbershop at 5:15 PM yesterday Monday without an appointment. Please keep in mind the front door entrance displays the following schedule(s) Monday- Friday 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM. 'No appointment required'. As soon as walked in I was asked if I had an appointment. I respectfully responded that I did not. The individual then asked a few other individuals which I assume were other fellow barbers who were just hanging out in the shop talking to each other if they could take care of a walk-in (Me). Without any hesitation they all said NO. I respectfully then said that was unfortunate and asked what time they closed because the schedule at the door said 9-6:30. He then realized and just said and I quote "well we all kinda make up our own schedule" He then proceeded to hand me a business card and tells me to-go online and book an appointment. The business card validates a schedule they are not willing to abide. I understand sometimes 30 mins before closing they can't take walk-ins but they had more than enough time. Now that's some shitty Customer Service if you ask me. read more
