The vibe inside is awesome, the decorations on the walls....nostalgia abounds, and plenty to keep you occupied (foosball table, chess) while waiting your turn in the chair. The barbers/stylists are diverse and talented, and we have our faves Wendi and Tyler, but honestly aren't scared to put 'OPEN' when we are pressed for time. They got it all there, not just your high and tights...but beards and shaves too...and specialty cuts for my picky teen. Thanks for all you do, and see you soon!

I also asked for my hairline to be squared up in the back but not to just cut it up because that's how rookies deal with tough necklines... What's the first thing done? Cuts my neckline in a random place squared up- almost by an inch from my normal neckline. I couldn't tell because I was facing away from the mirror.... But when you're told, they understand, you trust them. Then he proceeds to dive into my sideburns and beard and completely takes me to almost skin on the sides...I ask him to turn me around to look at my beard and it's completely wrong- all the way to the skin, my sideburns gone all the way up into my hairline... I'm like, "dude, I said don't go to the skin..."and his response "yeah, my bad I took it too low..." This coming from a guy that was a "teacher" at barber school? A barbershop that isn't busy on a Saturday morning should've made me suspicious, but I was feeling optimistic. Wrong. The barber seemed inexperienced and the service felt rushed. I specifically asked for a simple neck cleanup, which took only a few minutes, yet they charged $20 for that tiny touch-up while a full haircut is only $35. That pricing makes absolutely no sense and feels like they're taking advantage of walk-ins. Everyone was friendly enough at first to get you in the door, but once the service was done the attitude changed. The manager didn't seem service-oriented at all and showed no interest in making the situation right. For a place that should value repeat customers, this experience made it clear they don't. Avoid this barbershop -- you probably won't want to come back a second time. The barber even missed hairs on my neck that were covered by the itchy paper around my neck. Careless. Do better, Sunset!

First off great customer service! The haircuts are always top notch. They have free arcade games and cold beer while you wait which is awesome. Sometimes I wish i could wait longer before they take you back. The art work on the walls make it feel like you're in a museum! Every time I come in here they always have great movies/music such a cool vibe and feels very nostalgic. I will not go anywhere else. Every barber is outstanding and will get the job done. Today I had the younger gentlemen with the darker (long beard) I cant remember his name wish i did but I will be back to see him. Anyways he did a phenomenal (taper)haircut is what he called it. When I walked in, the staff was really welcoming and I did not have to wait long to get serve. First thing you do is go inside and write your name on the waitlist. This barber shop has a cool look that feels like a man cave and is very kid friendly. There is also a TV with movies being played to keep you entertained. I always have to look for a good barber because my hair and beard grow so fast. Well Old Town Barbers is more than just good. Casper took really care of me and made sure I left feeling and looking sharp. I have found my new favorite barber. read more

I usually walk out of here with a good hair cut which is why I gave a 3 star instead of a 1 star and I'm not usually one to do bad reviews but when I got home I realized just how messed up my haircut was and couldn't believe it. Went in for a hot towel razor head shave and a beard trim and left with irritation and numerous cuts on my head, with one of them being deep. Can't imagine what would have happened if it was a straight razor instead of a safety razor. The foil shaver he used got a closer than the safety razors that were used. I would have just razored it at home, but now I can't because of all the nicks and the cut. While showering to get the stypic powder off that he used to stop the bleeding, it started bleeding again right away. Had to hold pressure and clean the rest of the powder with alcohol. I really wished this was going to be a pleasant barber experience as I wanted to treat myself for my birthday, but it ended being the worst mistake. I am so disappointed that I am starting my family vacation in with cuts all over my head. Worst part is that he wasn't even able to shave my head smooth and left unshaved areas behind both ears.
