Alright, here we go. I never review a place the first time around just in case the first time was a fluke good job. But after coming again, Gram's cuts just keep getting better! First time in I was finally back in Cali after 6 months of bootcamp and A-school haircuts... And if you guys know military haircuts most of the time it just feels like a speedrun then it's a roast session for the next two weeks on who has the worst haircut . Anyways, after coming back to Cali, my usual barber was nowhere to be found so I was told by friend to check this place out. Walked in, the vibe was dope, you get a warm welcome and a refreshment if you want. Gram introduced himself right away and then the man worked his magic. I was coming in with a f**ked up head, non existent fade, no blend, fluffy ass puffball... It was bad and unsat. Gram took his time to give that NOICE fade, blend everything together. It was a great first cut coming back to Cali! And they have MILITARY DISCOUNT. Second time around, honestly, nothing changed. What I got was consistency and I think that's all you can really ask for your barber. Gram came in clutch again and just kept blessing my head with a dope cut. If I could give this barbershop 10 stars I would! I went to over 6 other barbershops before finding this one and have been going here every 2 weeks faithfully for over 1.5 years. The vibe is extremely chill, the barbers are incredibly friendly and the cuts are the best that I have found in this town. I struggled to find a barber when we first moved here, but thank god I found this place. An old school barbershop feel that's a great place to come for a cut and honestly just to hang out. Since starting to come here I've had 3 different barbers cut my hair and they're all fantastic. I do a traditional mid skin fade with a hard part on the left and these people just get it. Also attentive and easy to talk to. The cut is always perfect and they do a great job at taking care of you. My 2 year old daughter tags along with me when I go and all the barbers are outstanding with her. There is a sucker jar they let her have one, and Casper the owner always hooks her up with a Hot Wheels car from his collection! On top of that they have a putting green, pinball machine, and a few old school arcade games all free to play. For the 21+ they have some drinks available if you ask nicely. Won't go anywhere else to get my hair cut and this place makes me want to come back before my hair needs a cut just to see everyone and hang out! read more

It's got a cool vibe for kids (& adults), prices very reasonable, eager to assist me with my two grandsons. They enjoyed the free video games, Foosball and PacMan. Decor was fascinating and lively. Great barber shop! I had taken my boys to several barber shops around after moving to the area and can definitively say we've found their regular barbers here at Old Town Barbers - Winchester. Everyone in the shop was very friendly and welcoming. The kids loved playing on the free arcade games while waiting so there was no complaining. Chris faded one of my boys and did an amazing job. The skin fade was flawless. The hard part, style, and length were exactly what I was looking for. Very nice and patient guy too. Watched him give a baby his 1st cut and he was very patient and did a great job. Kiri (Miss K) faded my other boy and she knocked it out as well. Efficient and super clean skin fade, cut, and part. It's got style, charisma...a certain, idk French word word something special. This is a barbershop that feels like a barber shop should. They have a great staff and a couple things to keep you busy while you wait (iykyk) because you will wait...because the shop can get busy...but to me a busy shop is a good sign. These barbers know what they are doing and will hook you up. Friday March 15 I came into the shop and asked for a classic shave and for my mustache not to be cut because I was training to curl it. The barber that worked on me did the complete opposite of what I asked. classic shave is done with a straight razor and the guy used motorized tools that completely messed up my face. face is totally blotchy and my mustache is ruined because he decided to cut it. had to cut it all off when I got home. horrible experience and would not recommend to anyone. read more

Wow...just Wow! It's been a long search for me to find someone who really does great work on my hair and today I found them. This location is near my house and is on Winchester just past Jefferson on the north side of the street between the California Trust & Bank and Michelle's Place, which are easy to see from the street. I was at the other location recently and decided I should give the one on Winchester a try. That was a really fortunate decision. When I walked in the barber in the first chair asked me what kind of cut I wanted and after explaining, he asked if I prefer a scissor cut or a clipper cut. Since I said "Scissor" he took me over to Sarah's station and this is when my search was over. Sarah gave me the quality of cut I'd been hoping for many times before at other places, but usually it was just an "okay" cut. Sarah is detail oriented, took her time and I walked out feeling super happy! I really think their prices are fair when you compare them to other shops that may be a little less but do "so-so" work.
