I just adore these guys. They've been cutting my husband Greg's hair for years. After Greg had a stroke and brain surgery in the last year, he has weird nerve pain under his scalp and a whole area hair hasn't grown back in. What an awesome Barber Shop. Took my boys in to get cleaned up and what a fantastic job the Barber did. First my boys are both Cowboy fans so their drapes were perfect. Then to be able to sit and watch basketball on a big screen TV while getting haircuts well.....clearly this shop is a perfect man shop for all ages. So I have come to this place 4 times. The first time I had messaged Montay the night before asking him what it would cost for a fade and beard work. He said 35 for the cut and 10 for the beard. I came in, got the cut, paid 50 with the tip. Walked in the 2nd time. This time to be cut by Tay because Montay was already cutting. Same cut, same payment. Walked in for my 3rd cut. This time I went straight to Tay but he appeared not to be cutting that day. He sat in his chair and passed me off to Cleave, although Cleave was already cutting. I waited. Same cut, same pay. I came back for a 4th time. At this point I had been cut by every barber so I was comfortable with the shop. However this time when I walked in, they were having a kids day. As I was a walk in Montay said I could wait or jokingly get a cut from his son who is no more than 14 at tops. I told them I would wait for them to finish the kids, and get a cut from a licensed barber after. Also I was the only adult at the time waiting. As kids and their parents walked out, some new people were coming in. Everyone after me was an adult so I figured I would be first. WRONG. As I sat there, I watch each one of the mentioned barbers walk over and call their next person to be cut. As I watched this, I heard Montay loud and boastfully say, "Clients (apparently) have good and bad credit. If you come in with out an appointment, you may get in. But if the next person comes in and give them $100, they automatically have good credit and will be called before the waiting customer." Now I was upset to hear this knowing I had tipped each of them every time I had gone to their shop. As an African American I felt supporting a Black Owned business was a positive road to take. Although I waited for the kids and watched each of the barbers select a different person to cut, I feel like the owner would have the integrity to see what was being done and correct it. The final straw was shortly after that when a Caucasian dude came in after. Montay once again walked right up to this new gentleman and directed him over to his seat. Comically Montay announced to the shop "Man we are cutting like an old school barbershop today." I was livid internally. This was one of my worst haircut experiences ever and I didn't even get cut. I ultimately watched 5 kids and 3 adults get haircuts. I walked out just as the 4th adult say in Montay's chair. Overall I've learned that is in fact Not and old school barbershop. Instead it is a new age shop with no integrity barbers who just look to pull as much as the can from the next person. This shop is set on their clients and I would not recommend new people to come here unless you are willing to pay for good credit. Be sure to ask to see the chart so you know where you stand with each barber. Your tip last time may have been unappreciated. And when you was in again they may act like they don't know you. NEVER AGAIN! HARD WORKING PEOPLE SHOULD SAVE THIER MONEY BECAUSE IT'S OBVIOUSLY NO GOOD HERE. Look and see through the reviews. I'm not the only one that this has happened to. We've been taking my son here for about a year. Both Mike & Monte are quick, professional, and respectful. Primarily writing this to address the weird review about "feeling the racism". That is not accurate at all. A lot of people equate time spent on a haircut for a quality haircut and that is not accurate. I'm so glad we go to P2F and don't have to stay for 45+ for a kids haircut. It's priceless each and every trip. Its like a mix of old school and new school barbering. If you want a clean awsome cut as well as recommendations of what's going on around town, this is the place. Inwould recommend making an appointment. Just like anywhere, walk-ins are accepted but expect to be serviced based on availability. It is well worth the wait if you don't have an appointment. All I ask was my hair to be side ways like a good kid style. He was finish in 6 min didn't take his time it was like he just want to get me out of there. I had to go to another barber to fix their mistake gladly they did to an extended cause it was already jacked up Mike was his name I think he charged me 35 plus an extra 5 cause I Zelle him the money and I tipped him $10 cause I'm a nice guy but no way I'm ever going to them again. Update:(I don't know how to comment back to people on this) I just want to say that I am not sure how this is 'funny' to anyone, talk to my son about his hair falling out and the embarrassment he has gone through. As mothers with children, I don't think this is how we should treat each other. I never said these guys weren't good barbers, or there shop wasn't clean to the eye. But someone made a mistake that day, and my son paid the price. I'm not even trying to get anyone in trouble. I only wanted to bring awareness to moms who to take there boys to barbers, PAY ATTENTION, and make sure they are sanitizing their tools correctly, that's not a crazy or laughable request! I really hate giving bad reviews... but I am LIVID, and this has to be said, and there has to be a warning for other parents that take there boys to barber shops. I will not be taking my son again. I just CANT TRUST another person to care and sanitize their hair tools the proper way, when they have been touching SO many different scalps all day long! My son came to this shop one time, got nicked by the buzzer while getting the hard line, and in that spot grew a fungus (started out looking like dandruff or dry flaky skin, and hair started breaking and falling out), which later caused HAIR LOSS AND RING WORM that spread to his arm! He has a bald spot on his head now (the hair will grow back after antibiotics clear up infection) he has to take antibiotics for 6 WEEKS (that causes nausea, diarrhea, and insomnia) AND he has to WASH his hair WITH A SPECIAL SHAMPOO! He just turned 11 years old! Check the scalps of the customers you are about to work on, make sure they have a healthy looking head, or send them away! And take apart and clean your buzzers!! You do a good cut and you charge a good penny! Your customers deserve to NOT LOSE THEIR HAIR and be stuck on medication for over a month! And yes his hair is grown out around bald spot in picture, because we had to take him to a specialist (dermatologist) at Radys children's Hospital, and the appointments and referrals took time. And even though I knew right away i 'Mom institution' when and how this happened, I wanted to make sure and get doctors confirmation before I said anything. read more

My husband came to this barber shop excited to support local business. However, he had such a bad experience. First of all, he called the day before to ask what time they opened, which was 6am. After his cut, the barber told him he would have to charge him an appointment fee, even though he did not schedule an appointment. Second, of all the barber came across rushed. Despite, not having any other customers waiting. My husband asked the barber if he could please trim the center of his hair a little more.
