After his employees made a clear mistake--cutting nearly two feet off my existing downspout instead of attaching a simple 4-7" extension--Darvis became aggressive when I brought it up. Rather than owning the error, he told me he'd only fix it if I paid an additional $250 for a new downspout, even though the damage was entirely caused by his crew. Instead of taking responsibility, Darvis raised his voice, cussed at me, and called me a "psycho." He also made bizarre and unprofessional remarks like, "Do you know Karma? Karma will come back at you" and falsely accused me of not wanting to pay--despite the fact that I had already paid over $600 as a deposit. He later called my husband and admitted that he had taken his frustration from another job out on me. He offered to come back and fix the mistake, but that didn't change the fact that I was left with damaged gutters on both sides of my property--and a demand to pay more for something that wasn't my fault. What should have been a simple repair turned into a costly and stressful situation. I've since hired another company to fix the mess Yanes Rain Gutters left behind, and I have documented the damage with photos. To make matters worse, Darvis also refuses to stand behind the quality of his materials.
