This is a school for performing & Fine Arts such Greats are products of this school, such as Sarah Vaughn, Melba Moore, Tisha Campbell, Savion Glover & the list goes on; this is the place where talent is enhanced & perfected. Some go to Arts High because the arts is a hobby, others because they long for a future in the industry; some pursue their passion, while others go on to do other things. The best memories I have of Arts High is the friendships and bonds that were built. I have fond memories of Fashion Shows, Winter Concerts, Dance Performances, Photography, Artist; just being in the mist of such great talent hailing from this City with a reputation, you can't even imagine the competitiveness, yet love. We had our ups & downs and after revisiting, it's great to see the improvements that were made over the years, I am so proud & honored to say this place is one of the best schools in Newark for so many reasons. If I lived in Newark & my child was in high school, this is where I would want them to go.

It's in the hood, don't listen to anyone that says the two blocks surrounding it are safe---They are not. Everyday I was confronted with homeless people who while mainly polite in asking for money were relentless. Some days when I arrived early there would be flattened boxes in front of the school where people had slept the night before. 2) The Curriculum sucks. Most professors don't give a care if you understand the material as long as you pay the exorbitant fee to be in their presence. I learned more in reading the casebooks than attending the classes. The classes are pointless. 3) The school is a money pit. Self-explanatory, but lets just say when I interned at a nonprofit, I felt like I was the charity case. 4) Did I mention it's in the hood!! You can't walk anywhere after dark without getting in their shuttle. Seriously.. a shuttle has to bring you one block to the train station or to an apartment in 1180. Aside from that, their shuttle says "Country Club" transportation as you are driving past hungry, freezing, homeless people.... This school's a waste of time, space and resources. AVOID.

Atlas Driving School vehicles frequently and routinely violate traffic laws in the city of Newark…read more I have personally seen, several times, vehicles marked with this business's logo running red lights, splitting lanes illegally, using the car horn without proper reason, failing to yield to pedestrians at intersections, and other serious traffic infractions. What motivates this review is that just the other day, an Atlas Driving School car failed to yield to my right-of-way as I was crossing the street and came within inches of hitting me. The driver began screaming and making obscene gestures - as if it's MY fault that he nearly killed me. If the outrageous driving behavior of their "instructors" is any indication, this "school" will teach you to be a rude, impatient, inattentive and unsafe driver.

His teaching style is backed up with many real life examples from his own professional experience and that of his colleagues in the real estate business. This makes the material easier to learn and easier to connect with, rather than just reading it from the book. I felt comfortable being able to ask anything that I had trouble understanding from the material. Bruno went above and beyond to explain the concept until the point where I understood it and he did this for every single student. He wouldn't move on to the next topic until everyone's questions were answered because he really cared. Even after class, at 10 pm on a weekday, he would stay back to answer any questions I had with the material and even with my own real estate experiences in my personal professional life and he didn't have to for the 75 hr licensing. The content to cover is long and hard to fit in 75 hrs but I believe the course structure was able to achieve that for me. Of course, it is on the students to be completely attentive, to participate in class, and to review/study after class but having the right instructor was really important to me and it paid off!
