Our ceremony was originally planned for the outdoor Oliver Gardens, but was moved indoors at the last minute due to the cold and rain. The sound was provided for the string quartets, our officiant and readers. Despite the last minute change, everything was perfect. The lighting provided for the tent was beautiful and really added to the atmosphere. We requested Shawn as our DJ since he was highly recommended by several people and he did an amazing job. We met with him prior to the wedding to discuss the music and he had some great recommendations that worked perfectly. He kept things moving all night and the dance floor filled. He's able to read the crowd and keep a festive atmosphere. He also handled a very wide variety of requests from our guests. Definitely no need to look elsewhere - ProShow is as good as it gets!

It took literally months for him to give us a contract which was super generic. That should have been my first sign. We did meet with him prior to the wedding about 3 weeks before hand to go over the time line. He was very nice and seemed to be very personable. We told him specific songs that we did not want played. Told him the order of the ceremony, what songs to be played and so forth. We had very very simple requests. There were 4 songs to be played on loop while guests were being seated and while parents/grandparents were seated. Then there was 1 song to be played on repeat for the bridesmaids to walk down to and then the bride. That is not what happened. At the wedding he played the bridal party song early and we all noticed so we went to him right away and said you played it way too early make sure it's on repeat. The bridal party had music and then the bride only made it about a quarter of the way down the isle and then there was no music. Dead silent. Incredibly awkward to walk down a field with no music having 100+ people looking at you. He should have restarted the song or played something. Once the bride was to the front and the pastor started talking he randomly started playing music and shut if off right away. Needless to say as a bride I was really upset. Walking down the isle is your grand entrance and instead of feeling like you have this great memory with the music in the background it was just instead incredibly ackward. For the reception there were MULTIPLE times were no music was played and it was just dead ackward silence like right after speeches or after a song. As stated before we had songs that we said please do not at all play this type of music and well hearing "the sweat run down my balls" with your pastor right there is not exactly the music you want played. The songs we did request he did not play. At about 15 minutes before ending he came to us and said if you want me to play more you need to pay more. We said yes we would like to have another half hour but I asked if I could speak with him. When I talked to him about the ceremony he got nasty and defensive. Said that it wasn't his fault that I had no music to walk down the isle to. I said you are a professional and I am a bride walking down the isle. You should have done something. And at the very least apologize. He was just super unprofessional and even at the end didn't play our closing song instead he called my husband by the wrong name and had us stand in the middle of a circle while people danced around us. Cute for about the first 45 seconds but to do that for a few minute long song when you have given no heads up to the bride and groom is just not ok. Honestly I had the absolute best day of my life minus having Tymm as the DJ. His pricing is great but his service is sub par. I would not suggest him to anyone. Making the mistake at the ceremony can happen to anyone but it is how you handle yourself with your customers that makes the difference. He had multiple ways he could have made things right for ruining part of the ceremony. I would highly suggest to steer clear of hiring him.

I'm also still waiting for a phone call back. Upon booking, I had great communication. I was obviously excited, considering all the great reviews. It was roughly 1.5 weeks out from our wedding. Crickets didn't hear anything form anyone. I had to reach aid touch base to talk to someone (who ended up being our DJ) Upon arrival to our reception our party bus driver was running 15 minutes late, in return really bothered the DJ and he made it well known. I had spent hours adding the music to the app that 27 entertainment sent me to download that we wanted played. Dinner music (half of which that was not even played) must play and do not plays. As the bride, I asked the DJ to play a song during the reception. In which he told me "I already played that." I heard less than half of the songs I was told to pick up and put on the app they use. I wouldn't have wasted hours of my time selecting and adding music if I would've known it wasn't going to be played. Not to mention, shortly after the reception started DJs back speaker blew and we had several guests walk up to us stating they couldn't hear anything at the back of our venue. I will say the uploading that was available was very nice. Finally, at the end of the night the DJ started playing what we asked for. We finally had guests out on the dance floor, so my husband offered to pay him cash for an extra hour considering leading up to this was not going well. I reached out to 27 entertainment a few weeks after my wedding just to let them know of what had happened. I was very clear. I did not want to refund or any money back. I just wanted to let somebody know of the issues. I was told on the phone " well, your event has obviously came and gone so we can't take it back. But I'll talk to the DJ and I'll get back to you never wants a sorry this is not our standard. Almost 3 years later. I'm waiting for a follow up from 27 entertainment. Looking back I wish I would have booked a different DJ. It was a $2800 letdown. However, decided to go with 27 entertainment due to all the positive reviews.
