Forced to shop here for uniforms for our child's school. We were forced to add a tip to our order during check out. Based upon what we spend they were asking for a $46 tip. The iPad wouldn't allow you to proceed to checkout unless you entered a $$ amount for a tip. read more

I highly advise against ordering anything online from this store. It is impossible to get in touch with customer service. I left multiple emails and never received any response. I also phoned the customer service line, was told someone would phone me back but never received a return call. I had ordered a backpack and when received realized the zipper didn't work properly and was too large.. I ended up paying $18 in return shipping plus they didn't refund the original shipping costs of $10. This establishment really shouldn't have an online presence for purchasing. Worst customer service ever! Went back 8/12/25 at 3pm because I needed to have embroidery put on that they were out of stock of when I purchased the school uniforms from their store. They never answer the phone even though they say call beforehand. When I asked for the embroidery, I immediately received an attitude. Then, she took the sweater from me and accused me of bringing in old clothes. I told her that I had all of receipts so they had to do it. Well, when the lady came back, she was being suspiciously nice so I checked the clothes, and sure enough, a pair of pants had a big hole in it. I brought it to their attention and they told me that it was there and that they don't even have scissors in the back which c'mon that's so ridiculous, of course they have scissors, they do embroidery... and yes it definitely looked like they were cut by scissors, too. I don't understand why they had to be so rude when the embroidery comes with the uniforms and I paid for them- it was not my fault they were out of stock! Terrible. I will be ordering everything online from now on! Wish I could give zero stars. read more

This is the only place that offers my sons school uniform shirts. I didn't have any quality issues with the polos or embroidery. Shipping was fast communication was great! Colors did not fade they still look good as new after this past school year, too bad my son had a growth spurt, I need to order the next size up for the new school year read more

I thoroughly hate submitting bad reviews because I believe in the power of YELP in supporting small businesses. That being said, In Unison is unorganized, over priced and simply put, a mess. This is my third visit trying to pick up an online order that I was told was ready. I placed my original order almost a month before the start of the school shopping season rush. The first time I picked up, I opened my order in the store and realized it was the wrong school uniform. I'm told they're out of stock for the school I need and to come back. I stopped by a few days later, nothing. I placed another online order and received an email that my order is ready. I just picked up my order and opened it once again inside the store and lo and behold...it's the wrong school again. After a 20 minute wait I'm told that they only have one pants and one shirt in stock and they'll mail me the rest at no cost. I said absolutely not, I'll come back in person to pick it up because I obviously cannot trust their supply chain department. I'm told to come back on Tuesday for the remainder of my order. It's a shame that we parents HAVE to shop here because they have the uniform contract for the schools that require uniforms. I hope they see my review and publicly reply. read more

These guys are great!!!!!!! So I'm finally sitting down to write them a review. I own and operate a security and locksmith comapny in Miami, New York, and San Francisco and about a year ago I was in miami and met the owner of in unison. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about his business. I'm am actually shocked and CAN NOT believe that the reviews below are theirs since he was able to get me my first order of uniforms 3 days early and a better quality. Besides cheaper cost to my office in San Francisco then any of the companies I've tried o the west coast. Since then I have ordered over 1000 shirts total including uniform shirts, t-shirts sweaters, hoodies and golf shirts. I was looking for a company to update my logos and rebrand my company. Don't get confused with by the name. They not only distribute school uniforms. They have contracts with police stations/ fire departments and many other companies. Unfortunately, this company offers extremely bad customer service and incredible lack of understanding and consideration, especially when considering their customers are actually children. We bought our children's uniforms at In Unison, and not necessarily because we chose them. We had no choice since they are the only one's who sell the approved uniforms. In other words, they have a monopoly on those of us stuck in this position. Upon receiving the uniforms, we realized the size was wrong. It didn't fit our daughter. So, all we wanted to do was exchange the piece for one in the correct size. When we arrive at their office, they refused to exchange our piece because it was passed the 30-day period. But it was exactly 31 days! Not 3 months down the road, or half a year in, only ONE DAY... thats barely 24 hours over their limit. The problem is this: their offices are extremely far from our school district, and despite that distance we did make a prior visit on a Monday!... however, they are closed on Monday. And not that all business are open on Monday's, but Monday is the first day of a business week. So assuming they were open must happen a lot to fist-timers. And given we were only 1-day late, as a minimum, they could have been a little more understanding. We have no choice but to buy from them, and no choice but to have wasted our trip on the Monday, it's still inconceivable and shocking that they were so hard lined about this. The icing on the cake is that they weren't even polite about it! You're telling me bad news, you know its my second trip here, you're not giving my what I want and you have the gaul to show me attitude? In essence throwing your monopoly in my face, like I am insignificant? The second there is an alternative, in any way to In Unison, I will switch immediately. My advice to anyone in my same position, and we must be many to keep jerks like this in business, be warned. They will not accommodate to any of your needs. They run their business with a sense of entitlement, where we're not doing them a favor for offering business, but they are doing us a favor for simply existing. It's ridiculous. Horrible customer service. I waited online for 2 hours only to get home and realize they gave me different color top and bottom. They would not exchange colors for me. The items were just picked up a few days before. They originally gave me scrubs without matching pieces. They even got an order delivered and still would not exchange. read more

This company is awful. I have only tried the location in Tamarac, FL. My son is in VPK. Early June or July this year I bought several polo shirts and two long sleeve polos. After I paid, I was informed the long sleeve polos were not available but I would get a notification in about one week about the long sleeve polos' status. That one week turned into months... five months later we received the long sleeve polos... My wife washed the shirts for my son to use the next day (my boy had a bad cold and needed extra layers.) The following morning, we learned the long sleeve polos, even though they were the same size as the short sleeve shirts, they were much smaller or the shrunk after being washed!!! Either way, the vendor should be responsible for providing quality products. My son never wore the shirts. I went back to Unison just to find out that they would not exchange the shirts. A refund was out of the question... they offered me a discount to buy more shirts!!! Since the transaction is very old, I am unable to dispute it. So, I ripped both shirts and left them there. I had no use for them and they for sure were not going to sell it to someone else. read more

worst expeerience that I ever had. I went two weeks before my son star classes to buy the uniforms in sunrise which is far from were I live. they did not have any uniformes or sizes so they took a back order and charge me. They told me that usually takes 1 week. A week after, I try to contact them by phone and by email and was impossible to communicate. My son star classes with out the uniforms and I had to go to the store again because no body call me to give me reason so when i went there they told me that my order will take 30 days. I was so upset and frustrated because they are very irresponsible. I had to ask for a refund. After I ask some parents at the school I found a better place to buy my son's uniformes. read more

I purchased uniform pants for my 12 year old son, the first time he wore them the seam through the crotch came undone. An obvious manufacturing defect. In Unison insisted I pay postage and ship,the pants to them before they would send me new ones. I did as asked. I then received a phone call that since the pants were worn they would not be refunding or returning the pants. So now I have paid for pants, that they have possession of and I have no refund and no pants. I am sure they returned the pants to the manufacturer for their credit or refund. Ripped off! How could I know the seam would come undone if he never wore the pants! Do not buy from these people if you plan on wearing the items you buy, if there is a defect you will not get an exchange or a refund! read more

Awful service! Ordered 5 shirts and a sweater. Only received 4 shirts and no sweater. So I called and called only to hear a busy signal or no answer at all. I sent emails to no response. Finally got in touch with someone who said that the last shirt was on backorder and the sweater had been discontinued. Only received a partial refund for the sweater. Still waiting for the last shirt to arrive, over a month later. I will never order from this company again! read more
