It's refreshing to have someone who is positive and caring and doesn't yell. The other trainers at the barn are equally amazing. It doesn't matter if you are 5 or 65, you will be treated with kindness and respect and learn so much! This barn is well maintained and the horses are well taken care of. I recently moved my horse to Jaid stables at the beginning of September. It has been an amazing month with top notch care and attention to my horse. They love her like their own and I never have to worry about not being able to make it to the barn some days because I know that she is getting top notch care. In addition to their 5 star boarding, the trainers are top notch! My horse receives training rides once a week and is already showing vast improvements on the flat and over fences. My weekly lessons are always engaging and present new but feasible challenges that help me grow and become a better rider. Although I am not showing at the moment all of their riders have demonstrated top placings at local and A rated shows. I can't wait to start competing with Jaid next season!

It's been a while since I've been on a horse and this was the first ride for my kiddo. Before I forget to mention the barn is equipped with helmets if you would like one which is so awesome! After filling out the paperwork they give a brief tutorial before your ride on how to stop/start/ guide the horse to do what you want which was really helpful. The horses were so sweet and gentle my daughter rode Simon, I rode Rusty, and my husband got Bella. The trail was great a little narrow at times between trees but the horses definitely kept us on track and going smoothly. My husband ended up getting the sweetest horse who loved to stop every couple of minutes for snacks so every time we looked back he was a bit behind us lol! It made for a great moment that we will remember and laugh about for years to come! Our guide was very knowledgeable and great with my daughter who despite being nervous beforehand rode like she had been riding her whole life! Proud mama moment for sure!! Their barn cat greeted us when we got back and was all purrs & brushing up against our legs such a little cutie (check out the picture). We got to meet all of the other horses and fed our horses a treat in their buckets after the ride! We had a fantastic time and we really enjoyed the horses and the beautiful scenery! Flexible scheduling, reasonable prices, and excellent training are my main reasons for really liking this place. The location is pretty close to me, about 20 minutes from the Mall of Georgia, which is a good drive, not too far like a lot of places. Showing is definitely encouraged, and there is a fantastic team attitude, but it is not required and as I work full time with my own business, it doesn't always fit into my schedule so it's important to me that I am not required to show like at some barns. Marian is always professional, her concern for the horses is Priority One, and I feel as though my riding has improved drastically over my time with her. During the summer, my preteen daughter also took camp at Cornerstone and really enjoyed it. I highly recommend Cornerstone Equestrian to anyone.
