Incanto gave my boyfriend and I a perfect Sunday morning during our last vacation to Puerto Vallarta. We attended the Gospelicious Gospel Brunch in March, which was one of the most interesting and enjoyable moments of our whole trip! We certainly got a great first impression of this place. I would love to see another production or even just visit the Piano bar at Incanto during our next trip. I booked our reservations online a little less than a month before our trip as I was trying to fill up our itinerary with fun things to do. When I stumbled upon Incanto's website, it took all of 2 seconds to decide on the Gospelicious Gospel Brunch. My boyfriend is a huge fan of gospel music, and I've grown to love it myself recently, too. You could choose from general and preferred seating with brunch, or you could just get tickets for the show without brunch if you've already eaten. We opted for the general tickets that came with brunch and the choice of coffee or tea or a mimosa. If you know us, you know we chose the mimosa. We were seated on a cute little deck overlooking a stream and handed our menus. Both of us chose the eggs benedict because it was something we've never tried before, and we were impressed! We happily finished our meals and it was time for the show. The theater was intimate yet seemed to fit a decent sized crowd in it. We decided to sit toward the middle of the venue next to a man that told us he had just sold his home in Oregon and planned on moving to Vallarta (I'm TOO jealous). We ordered some more drinks to sip on throughout the show and the service was super quick and friendly during our whole experience at Incanto. The host of the show, Tracy, introduced The Resurrection Band, including the drummer, Gary, bassist, David, and the musical director and pianist, also named David. The singers came out one-by-one in their traditional chorus robes and we knew we were in for a serious musical treat today. The show exceeded our expectations, and we had a blast! Hulga, Melina, and Luis had incredible voices, and they played a few songs we were familiar with to the point that we could sing along, too. The director and pianist, David, was SO animated and he was fun to watch along with the rest of the band. I would love to see this show again and again. When I ran upstairs to use the restroom, I caught a glimpse of the bar. Assuming this is where the piano bar is located since the downstairs bar is much smaller, it looked like it would be an awesome area to hang out and enjoy a relaxing evening with drinks flowing and great music. Everything was clean and well-kept, and every area of the building that I saw was gorgeous in it's own quirky way. On the way out, we got to meet all of the performers and I was so excited about this! It was nice to thank them for the wonderful show they put on that has now become one of my favorite memories of this year's trip to Vallarta. Until next time, Incanto! We will certainly be visiting again.

In all of Puerto Vallarta, the Incanto is the nicest place to be, if you enjoy great food, and the best music. They have Broadway quality performers doing individual shows, and the open mic night draws the best artist from literally all over the world. I was received very warmly as a musician, which cannot be said for all the bars in Puerto Vallarta. Tracy, the owner is a real incredible person and he has put together a real class act. The food is absolutely great and the prices are more than reasonable. It fills up fast on open mic night, or any other times that there are shows. They are as inclusive, as can possibly be in all regards. I cannot recommend any other place more than here. It's nice to be traveling and be able to get up and play without prejudice or envy. Special thanks to Enoch and Tracy and Bing Young for being genuine people

Breakfast was not good, no flavor in the food. Do not order the pancakes or hash browns.

    It's a vibe!

If you want to talk about a perfect venue, you need to look no further than Incanto! My girlfriend and I have vacationed in PV for the past 2 years, and our first trip was super fun but we spent lots of time just relaxing and not doing much besides lounging on the beach. Nothing wrong with that, but this year we wanted to make it a point to do more, go more places and try new things! So we decided to do a bit of homework, and that's when we found this amazing place with a beautiful setting. My GF stumbled upon a Gospel Brunch Incanto was hosting. Now, I was a bit skeptical because I have never seen alcohol associated with gospel. Not usually a popular thing in the States, I laugh! But I'll tell you what, we are doing it all wrong here LOL. After looking at the flyer, seeing brunch served with mimosas, we were in! The performance was a bonus! So we bought are tickets in advance. $30 bucks. Not bad at all. Once we pulled up in a cab and saw how the venue was placed right on a river where you could see the patio and all the shading that was up, such a refreshing feeling! After we showed are tickets and were ushered in, they gave us a menu and we quickly ordered the mimosas! We got the Egg Benedict which was superb. I don't believe I have been that full from 2 eggs in my life. So good! Served overtop a soft flaky biscuit. A Watermelon slice garnished the dish as well. As for the mimosas, we doubled up! Now, the best part about the Gospel Brunch was the performance! The singers had amazing voices and I definitely felt the spirit in that room! (Might of been the booze). Not only were we blown away by their voices, but the gentleman on the keyboard was playing his heart out! My GF and I totally believe we got our moneys worth, and then some! I would recommend to anyone who enjoys brunch with a funky twist on it with live performances. I know Incanto hosts all kinds of artists and cool different events. Go experience a truly great venue with creative concepts, you'll be thrilled you did!

Great menu, quality food, and wonderful atmosphere! The restaurant is out of the tourist's path and along the river.

Don't order frozen drinks in the piano bar because they don't have straws and they are slower and the drinks suck.

They had bottomless coffee and a bunch of freshly squeezed juices which was a great start. Obviously, I had to order pancakes at a place called the Pancake House. I expected them to be good, but wow...they ended up being some of the best pancakes I've ever had. Thick, fluffy, and somehow perfectly soaked up the syrup without getting soggy. It was a stack of three and looked like way too much at first... but I genuinely couldn't stop eating them. My boyfriend got the French toast, and I barely managed to sneak in one bite before it disappeared but that one bite was incredible! I get why he didnt want to share it lol. The service was quick and super friendly. We were joking around with our waiter the whole time which made it even better. The whole place has a really cute vibe too with plants everywhere. Honestly, it was the perfect last meal and such a great way to spend our final morning. I'm definitely going to be dreaming about those pancakes for a long time.

We ordered the chilaquiles and they were so good, definitely a must. We also got a side of habanero sauce, which had great flavor and just the right kick. I ended up eating here 3 times during my stay at the hotel (see separate review). I was the only one eating late afternoon lunch while waiting for my room to be ready. The Mahi-Mahi Fish & Chips was breaded differently than any I've had before, but it was good and the fish was not overdone. They didn't have malt vinegar but the vinegar provided was ok. Corona beer at about 80 pesos was cheap compared to US. Intrigued, I tried the vegetarian Green Omelet for breakfast. Green olives, zucchini, avocado, you get the picture. It tasted better than it looked. For dinner, Tortilla soup was good but a bit too salty for me. I'm not sure what "Artisan Pasta" means, but the Artisan Fungi pasta was excellent; along with the cream sauce, it was probably the best tasting I've ever had! Loaded with mushrooms! The martinis were also pretty cheap at about 79 pesos. So cheap I had 2. The wait staff was very attentive. Food took a bit longer to arrive than I expected, especially since I was one of two guests eating there during my meals; however, the next time I'm in the area, even if not staying at the hotel, I'd definitely stop by for more Artisan Pasta.
