Our delicious food was presented beautifully by a great waitress. We sat on the second floor terrace and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely recommend No Sé Nada to others, and will put it on our "return to" list! We had arrechera with two sauces and tequila shrimp. Entrees were plated on a bed of vegetables and mashed potatoes.
Great happy hour drinks! The margaritas, mojitos, and martinis can be flavored with natural additions like cucumber, jalapeño, hibiscus, and lots of fruit options-- all blended in fresh! Very refreshing on a hot day.
Visited a ton of great restaurants in PV, but this place was #1. Made reservations for the rooftop and had the perfect view. Our waitress Anna Lo was so kind, sweet and attentive! EVERYTHING we ate deserves a 10/10. Everything!! Ordered the PV Spring Rolls and they were absolutely delicious. Beautiful and colorful presentation with a ton of flavor. Dip the spring rolls in the sweet and thick peanut sauce. My bf ordered the zucchini boat with grilled octopus and fried calamari. The octopus was outstanding and cooked to perfection. I ordered the special, which was shrimp and pineapple. It was incredible and again I wouldn't change one thing about any of the dishes. The presentation for all 3 was a work of art. Margaritas were also tasty. Wish I checked my Yelp because I could've unlocked a free drink here. More of a reason to come back and eat here next time!

Had the pleasure of dining here this evening with my family. We sat upstairs on the roof and the weather was perfect at 5pm. Started with the cucumber martini. It's a bit gritty Bc they just pulverized a cucumber with gin. It was super strong! Also tried the passion fruit margarita. More my style then the first drink but equally as strong. For dinner we Started with the homemade tator tots, crunchy and piping hot! Really liked both of the dipping sauces that came with it. I ordered the Oaxaca porkchop. It was huge and delicious. Maybe 2-3 inches thick? The sauce with the porkchop and pineapples all in one bite is money. My hubs got Zucchini boat with grilled octopus. I am not a fan of octopus personally but I tried it upon his insistence and I was not sorry. It melted in my mouth. It was not chewy at all. Super good! Kiddo got the Bourbon bbq shrimp. They were cooked perfectly. My son gobbled them up! Two very big thumbs up for this place!!
Just enjoyed an innovative and tastefully presented meal here tonight. Anna Lo and the staff rocked it making our dinner here an event. We enjoyed the pork chop, tequila shrimp and red snapper entrees. The flavors and layered flavors tantalized out tastebuds. Well done. We enjoyed the spring roll shrimp appetizer...which Anna so graciously had prepared a non shrimp version for my shellfish allergic spouse. The special dessert added the cherry onto our meal. A special place to visit. Drinks were ample and sipped well.
We ducked in for food and drinks on a Friday night. The restaurant is a couple blocks from all the crowds. Great pick! The salmon dish I ordered was amazing! Soup was delicious too. Service was great. Ambiance too. Really cool old building with an open ceiling.
I believe happy hour is 1pm-4pm and margaritas among other things are 2-for-1/person. I was in PVR for a week and this was the only place I went to twice. I'm not a heavy eater. The first time I had the shrimp croquettes. They were amazing. I loved the filling and the sauce. The 2nd time I had the el pastor tacos. They were well seasoned. This place is definitely on my list if I go back

This was our very first time in Puerto Vallarta and we were starving after visiting the Malecon. We found No Sé Nada after looking at different Yelp restaurants and were impressed by the reviews and overall rating. If you're questioning whether this place is worth it, this is your sign to visit here! Food and service are beyond worth it, but if you looking to what to order, I have a few recommendations. Ok, onto the review. This place is a little bit past the Centro and a block or two away from the beach. It isn't a large restaurant but cozy, we loved the terrace view and clean restrooms. There was no wait, thankfully, so we were seated promptly by a really great waitress. We ordered the following drinks, cucumber Margarita, No Se Nada, and passion fruit agua as well as Jamaica. The No Se Nada is like a lime Margarita, but has a really refreshing taste especially after a day of walking the Malecon. Overall, the drinks were great, but they ran out of the pina colada mango, so the bartender put together a pina colada with fresa that was good too. For appetizer, we went with the tater tot and shrimp. Both came with six servings, which was enough, but not enough because we wanted more! Definitely recommend both and I really appreciate how the waitress was upfront about what to order and assured us we would enjoy them. As far as entrees, I asked for the surf and turf, which was special a long time ago and I saw it on Yelp, so the chef was willing to accommodate. It was beyond worth it and I hope they make it a regular plate! It comes with steak, shrimp, and two sauces, the green sauce is a little spicy, but overall, the meal was delicious and the vegetables and mash potatoes were a great mix. My wife got the tequila shrimp and she enjoyed it, said it was a sizable proportion and my sons ordered the bulogi plate and the sopa, but it wasn't an actual sopa, it was the noodles with guacamole and pico de gallon then my son's girlfriend ordered the pork chop dish. The pork chop is very flavorful, it's not your typical pork chop but I believe next time I return it will be the pork chop if they're unable to make the surf and turf. For my youngest daughter, she ended up being happy with the tater tots so we ordered the larger portion. Dessert, they only have one, which was a chocolate mouse with pecan and it was amazing! We loved it. It's a small serving, could be shared amongst two persons. Price wise, I think it was reasonable, especially for six persons, it averaged out to $25-20 USD per person. Next time I return to Puerto Vallarta, we will definitely return and recommend to our friends.

Food & drinks were amazing (a bit pricey) but very tasty nonetheless. Would have given 5 stars but was a little upset that the waitress (older white woman) brought the outrageous American tipping culture to Mexico. We ALWAYS tip don't get me wrong, but our server's shift must have been over because she only came once we finished eating to pick up our plates and once we paid she immediately said "do you need your change?" Mind you our change was over $180 pesos (we only had large bills at the moment) and the dollar was exchanged at $16 pesos.... That rubbed me the wrong way. Don't expect or ask people to leave you all of their change as tip. Returned the next day because again, food & drinks were great and had a nicer experience the second time. The gentleman with a beard & septum piercing was THE BEST!!! Very humble, welcoming and overall amazing service! read more
Feb 2024 Update - First time back to No Se Nada since the new ownership has taken over. Its so nice to see that they have kept most if not all of my favorite items on their menu and kept the same staff which has made the transition so seamless where I truly don't see any difference. Same great food and friendly smiling faces I have come to know and appreciate over the years. This is one of my favorite waterholes in the area where their daily happy hour from 1 to 5 is not to be missed. Many places make a good lime Margarita in the area but No Se Nada's flavored margarita is top shelf in my book and a separator from the other bars/restaurants in the area where the passion fruit Margarita is one of my all time favorites regardless of destination/locale. Their Bistro style cuisine is some of the best food in the area and the roof top dining with sun going down is such a great environment that this is a destination restaurant if you are in Puerto Vallarta. After not realizing I needed a reservation at the first restaurant, I went back into my Yelp and No Sé Nada popped up as a highly recommended spot to go to. It is a small restaurant on an unassuming side street, but the rooftop seating was a lovely surprise. The server was a friendly American woman who had to go up and down the stairs for the bar and food. Poor thing! lol I ordered the grilled octopus which usually comes with mashed potatoes, but I asked to just have extra veggies. I'm not sure if I got extra or not, but they were really good. I'm a big fan of grilled zucchini. I honestly think the best thing I had there was their one and only dessert, the mud cake. It deserved to be the I my dessert in the menu! It was a pistachio cookie with a layer of vanilla custard on top with a layer of chocolate pudding on top of that. I think I would go back just for the dessert! read more

Wow, what a hidden gem! Just a block away from the ocean this wonderful restaurant sits. Delicious cocktails, and incredible food! We were frankly shocked at how good the food was. Service was great as well, the whole restaurant seemed to be taking care of us. Absolutely recommend coming here. read more
No Se Nada Bar y Restaurante is located just 1 block from the waterfront on Corona. This is a hip place and you need reservations to go upstairs. The downstairs area does offer limited walk-ins. We stopped here for a drink and and appetizer as this place has been on our list of must visit bars and restaurants. The Mango Mojito was the best Mojito I've had in town so far and the Mango Pina Colada was very good as well. The PV Spring Rolls were a tasty snack and we will definitely be back for the upstairs experience. Service was friendly and quick and the covid restrictions are at high standards. Make sure to bring a mask and wear it until you are seated. *** No Se Nada Bar y Restaurante liegt nur einen Block von der Promenade entfernt. Dies ist ein angesagter Ort und Du musst eine reservierung haben um nach oben zu gehen. Der Bereich im Erdgeschoss bietet begrenzte Walk-Ins. Wir schauten vorbei für einen Drink und eine Vorspeise, da dieser Ort auf unserer Liste der Bars und Restaurants stand, die man unbedingt besuchen muss. Der Mango Mojito war der beste Mojito den ich bisher in der Stadt hatte, und die Mango Pina Colada war auch sehr gut. Die PV-Frühlingsrollen waren ein leckerer Snack und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, um das Erlebnis im Obergeschoss zu geniessen. Der Service war freundlich und schnell und die Covid-Einschränkungen entsprechen hohen Standards. Block off the Malecon. Cute little restaurant with roof top seating. Nice place to go to escape all the noise of the Malecon. Tater tots are a must try as they are very unique, order with the chipotle sauce! Waitress was super attentive to all of our needs . Happy hour is 1-4:30. 2 for 1 on certain cocktails. read more

We lived full time in Vallarta and usually avoid the touristy places like the plague. However, we heard about the very good food and imaginative cocktails at No Se Nada. So, having made reservations, off we went. The restaurant is pretty, service is pretty good, and the food is damn good. I ordered the special, which was steak with shrimp and asparagus. The steak was fork tender,, the shrimp very large. My hubby and friend ordered the chicken with mashed potatoes. They enjoyed it, but hey mine was much better. But... and it's a big one, I ordered a watermelon margarita and a mango margarita. I could not taste the tequila at all, nor feel it, if you know what I mean. I love tequila, good tequila, the taste, the burn. So as delicious as they tasted, it's a no for me. Then, the noise level is crazy. We couldn't talk to our friend, so we left No Se Nada to find someplace quiet for a dessert and coffee. Stay tuned for my next review, because it's the coffee house! read more
We had been in Puerto Vallarta for a few days. Every night we'd do our own food tours of eats in the area. This find was one of our favorites. The grilled appetizer our hostess recommend was absolute perfection. The drinks were carefully/artistically crafted. We cannot wait to return to try more items on the menu. read more

Food: 5 stars Drinks: 5 stars Value: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Ambiance: 5 stars This is a fantastic option if you are in Puerto Vallarta! We had the Baked Panela Cheese to start, which was fantastic. We shared the Oaxacan Style Pastor Chuleta, which was also amazing and HUGE! We had the Cuale River Mud for desert (the only option) which was also very tasty (but not as unique and amazing as the other food we had). The maracuya (passion fruit) margaritas we had were also fabulous, but the real winner when it came to drinks was the wine. We had the Malbec, which was shockingly good. My husband is obsessed with Malbec wine due to a lot of time spent in Argentina, and he was incredibly impressed. We want to find out where to get some now that we're back in the states! Value, service, and food and drink quality here can't be beat! read more

After a tiring day walking the Malecón we decided to walk a block up and have dinner. Presumably if we had had reservations (around 6pm on a Thursday) we could have been seated upstairs on the patio, but we were seated immediately downstairs which was just fine. The mojitos were fantastic, just the refreshing beverage we needed! We were impressed with the creativeness of the menu: "adult tater tots" with chipotle sauce and "not your average egg rolls" with wasabi mayo were both delicious starters (and filling). The zucchini boat with grilled octopus and fried calamari was well prepared and the presentation was phenomenal. The shrimp in the BBQ Shrimp were huge with a nice Cajun flavor, although the bread on the side was a bit stale. All in all we had a lovely meal and the service was great, well worth the short walk off the Malecón for something different and delicious. They checked temperatures and provided hand sanitizer when we entered as well. read more

Straight Craziness. This place is a must do. I'll keep it simple. Great ambiance, fun staff, attention to detail, incredible food and a jalapeño margarita that kicks tail! All offered at a great price. We spent 2 of our 4 nights here, and would easily have gone back again. Me and my boy MF'n Earl were treated like family both times we showed up. What a fun experience! Want to try an out of the way small, inelegant restaurant? Here is one place you should try. Our salad was creamy and precisely put together. He beets and carrots were julienned and marinated so even Reed, who dislikes carrots enjoyed them. He wine was from Casa Madero which was founded in 1597 and Cabernet Sauvignon was aroma friendly and gentle on the palate. Yes, I liked it and the price was right! The Tequila Shrimp, which I ordered was perfectly prepared with nine good sized shrimp over perfectly spiced potatoes. Reed's Pork Cutlet was thick, tender and cooked to melt in your mouth perfection. If you want to get off the beaten path, try local and enjoy something a little less contrived this is a place! read more

Super good food, great service. I'd say the restaurant definitely caters towards foreigners (and so do the prices). Great place for a group dinner-- I tried the grilled octopus and calamari but my friends had the chuleta and it was really well cooked and juicy! Would recommend eating here when visiting malecón, love the balcony seating (perfect for watching fireworks)!! read more

We discovered this place while visiting on our cruise. We came in the afternoon looking to grab a margarita and ended up having lunch. I ordered the French Quarter Shrimp "Po Boy Sandwich". What an amazing sandwich!! The shrimp was really tasty and flavorful. They also have some of the best tasting margaritas and to top it off it was happy hour with 2 for 1 drinks! Tip! Ask to sit on the the roof top and enjoy the view and the ocean breeze! read more
