No!!! Rude!! I went in for a consultation because I was referred to by my dentist who assumed me…read morethey were the best in Ellisville. I met with the tech who shoved this obnoxious mouth piece in to open my mouth more so she could actually take pictures with her camera. I told her it hurt and she continued. The orthodontist then came in and told me there would be another consultation fee that insurance does not cover, of 850.00 just to have a meeting between her, my dentist and myself. We take card. She then proceeded to tell me how much of an overbite I had and it's not guaranteed braces would fix it. She also rudely said I have a speech impediment and I needed to go to speech therapy!! I was horrified! I left the office almost in tears, because I speak very clearly and absolutely have no speech impediment. They said it would be about 7, 000.00 not including the 850.00 for the consultation!!! They are a CASH COW!! They're rude, obnoxious and out for money! That's it. Don't go here!

Dr. Hellmann worked on our daughter today and her life will never be the same! We FULLY expected drama and tears today, but my daughter was BEAMING and staring in the mirror, flinging her hair! She even went to the gym tonight! We are all shocked at how truly painless this has been for her and how beautiful she feels today...a day we thought would never come! Hellmann and Madeline (assistant who was SO TRULY KIND and encouraging...SHE SOLD US with sweetness...and confidence in her boss..and so relatable) they made it happen! Sadly, due to bone loss...implants were not possible. Our options were sickening for our beautiful girl. We visited 5 dentists to review lifelong solutions for my daughter (after 10 years of this and that...to get by...and keep her smile normal- ish.) We could NOT embrace the idea of dentures for our daughter getting ready for college! Hellman assured us about a Bridge. My husband and I were skeptical. This is our daughter! This is her lifelong smile! Is this guy a specialist? But...my daughter felt MOST comfortable in his office. She BEGGED to get her work done here! Hellmann was not our cheapest quote...but they worked with us on overall quote and let us make payments. My daughter just loved Hellmann...and his staff WON our business. We dreaded this visit, after 10 years of trauma - and our daughter came out smiling and in NO PAIN! Hours later, NO PAIN! Mostly, after years of being traumatized...she is not complaining, she is BEAMING! She is full of hope and for the first time in 10 years, she isn't taking out her retainer with fake teeth...or accommodating everything around mealtime and dental health...and pain. She is FREE! Mostly, she feels pretty. HUGE! All night we discussed how lucky she is, how lucky we all are to see her so free and so happy with a result, of all that happened today - after 2 hours in the chair. We are grateful. We are overjoyed...mostly because our daughter feels the joy of being the STRONG confident girl...without worry or care. She feels whole tonight (and isn't even in pain! WE CANNOT BELIEVE THAT!) She went out for ice cream tonight with friends. We were expecting a week of ongoing dental horror. I cannot believe Gods plan...and how I followed her lead...letting her determine who she felt the comfortable with. What a reward this day has been. I cannot recommend this office more! We are so grateful for Hellmann and his staff today. We have waited for this day...when the final steps are in play. It isn't...next time we will do this...and after that...we will do this...IT IS OVER! My daughter is happy...her smile ...and all the cares...are over. THE END is in sight. She went to bed loving herself...and all with a little Ibuprofen. She is so happy. That is all that matters to us. But, surely a bonus, that her teeth have NEVER been prettier. They practically don't need a waiting room, as we have never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to be seen, and the appointments are over so quickly I barely had time to scroll my phone. The efficency is matched by friendliness, quality of service, and responsiveness. We had a problem with an appliance on the weekend, and the doctor was easily contacted, met us at the office, and corrected it quickly. I cannot recommend them enough.

I needed to make an appointment because my fiance's bond on his retainer broke off. When I explained to them what happened the receptionist told me that Dr. Cherre cannot do anything for him because he did not put in the retainer. He won't work on others previous work. She then started saying that if he did come in it would be a whole day ordeal and he needs time in advance to be prepared for this. All of this made me believe that the Orthodontist was snooty and pretentious about his patients. The receptionist was not very knowledgeable when it came to answering simple questions. She did not help me with my issue she did not know anything about taking down an Insurance card number she was only good at telling me how busy the office was.
