I realize everyone's mileage will vary with treatment, but I will tell you, Jocelyn is an amazing, emphatic listener who tries to delve into the root of the issue. I have been dealing with neck-shoulder-bicep pain for a long time. I even fell in March, causing a bone spur to become a bone fragment that locks my shoulder. She knows that things like mood, stress and interpersonal relationships can trigger an inflammatory response, and she has helped me become aware of all the elements that manifest as body pain for me. She does an assessment every visit to figure out the best therapy. We have gotten the pain down to 2/10 for a few weeks now! I did go to her with a sciatica issue this last visit, but I left in as much discomfort as when I got there. (The next day I went to my usual Ocean Acupuncture and Massage in Oceanside and they fixed it in 1 visit. For some reason, needles in my right hand and foot fix the left side of my back- Jocelyn put needles directly in the spot that hurt). Overall, I am so happy to have this place in my rotation for my pain management modalities and I will continue to seek treatment here.
