His father passed away a couple of years ago, and his sons have continued their father's legacy. They are now retiring, and a young entrepreneur bought the store and will expand it to other levels. And they know where EVERYTHING is. Old fashion service, courtesy, and attitude is what makes this place. Now the kicker. Lowe's and Home Depot have been out of cedar forever. City Lumber has a huge supply. When they didn't have the length I wanted, they cut a longer board to get me what I wanted. THAT'S UNHEARD OF!!!!! Yes, cedar cost an arm and a leg, but they had it, and I bought it! Thank you, I'll be back!

Cole walked us through the warehouse talked with me about what I wanted until I was ready to commit. (without high pressure sales as I would walk away from) We also changed out our sink and the office staff was right there answering questions and making sure we knew how to care for our sink and counters. Any concerns were addressed very quickly. I hope to never have to remodel again, however Texas T Granite would definitely be the team we would pick for any Granite needs. DO NOT USE THEM! horrible customer service and quality. It took them three tries of coming to our…read morehouse to install quartz countertops. the first time they came, all of the pieces were cut wrong with different edges. we showed them and they took them back. They apologized and said the slabs were bowed and that is why their machine messed the edges and cut them crooked. Ok, I've never heard that but that's fine. We assumed they would cut from a new slab since you cannot simply cut back the tops and have them come out at the right depth. NOPE, they simply cut the Pieces back that had the beveled and crooked cuts. When they laid each side down by the stove, you could clearly see they were not at the same depth and the other piece which butted up against the piece left of the sink didn't fit either. We went around and all three pieces were all cut at different depths. Really? Where's the quality control? They took them back and said they would call us to follow up after speaking with the owner. we didn't hear anything from them for a few days, so we called, texted, left messages, etc but nothing. Now mind you we had already paid them 50% down which was several thousand dollars. Nothing for several more days until finally we got a text that they would be coming back in a few days. Finally they came back and did the install. however the seaming especially on the one side looked (and still looks horrible!!!) we complained and told them they needed to come out and fix this since the gap was so large and the fill was light and dark and obvious from even 10 feet away. Finally the owner and one of his fabricators came out. They worked on it for several hours, stating they were trying but this was the color match from the quartz company. I'm sorry, but I don't care, you are the experts and should know how to cut and place the seams and the right color to make it as unnoticeable as possible. I understand that their will be a seam and not completely invisible, but the gap was excessive and their was dirt on residue left in the gap. At the end they simply said, we are sorry, we are trying our best but not sure what else we can do. We couldn't pull it out since the backsplash was already installed as it had been several weeks since they tried the first install. In the end, we caved and said fine and paid. However, I can assure you, I will NEVER use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone we know who is remodeling their kitchen. 8/1/26 Update - We discovered they didn't even polish all of the edges. We realized that when running our hand over a section and noticed it was rough and didn't feel like the rest But further down it went smooth. We will be calling a different company to come out and polish the area and hopefully correct the seam that Texas T couldn't manage to figure out how to do correctly.

Finally, we have beautiful windows that actually work like they should. The ones they took out were also replacement windows, but they never looked or worked like these. We were not able to open very many and they also just started falling apart. These windows can be opened and closed with one finger. We are so happy we went with Battles and recommend them to anyone in need of their product and their wonderful workers. Wish we could give them a thousand stars.

I contacted Bryant's Plumbing wanting a bid on a fixer upper project and I trusted Bryant because I…read moregrew up with him. He convinced me I'd be better off letting his guys work hourly, rather than getting a bid, and he told me the work should take 2-3 days. Trusting they'd get the job done in a timely manner proved to be a huge mistake. I received the invoice and was totally shocked to find he had invoiced me for 4 full days. His guys also left a huge mess. Rotted cast iron was left in the front yard, the clean out was uncapped and they didn't bury it, the tub was filled with disgusting wet insulation, and the hot water heater that had a leak was left behind. I immediately contacted Bryant to express my concern over the price and we just went round and round in circles over the phone. At the end of our conversation, I asked him why his guys had left such a mess to which he replied that they weren't done yet. So in other words, he was going to have his guys go back out and bill me for a 5th day. Wow! Seriously, if you're going to give someone an estimate on time, you should at the very least be in the ballpark, if you call yourself a professional. Also you need to communicate when you are taking longer than quoted and the customer is being billed by the hour. Plus why are you sending me an invoice before the work is done? Doesn't make sense. I believe if I hadn't called him out, he would have taken my money and left me with that mess. Claiming to provide quality workmanship...please, spare me. Check the pics. Lengthy review. Last year they came out and inspected our…read morechimney 1 week after having a new roof installed. Technician said there were some clearance issues and "fixed" them. 7 months later after some good summer rains, we noticed mold on the wall behind pictures we had hanging. They cut through the flashing and tar paper around the chimney and didn't say anything. After contacting them, they decided to fix what they screwed up. Ended having to remove a section of drywall about 6ft wide floor to ceiling, all the insulation and some of the studs due to mold build up and excessive moisture still present. The insulation was poorly installed which I fixed and the studs they replaced were not lined up and wasn't discovered until after my drywall guy finished it up. The new mantle top in the picture is straight. I did my best with the rest of the repairs since I could no longer trust Shane's. It's almost to the point of legal action especially since they kept trying to push back. Find someone else.
