In 2014 they installed my building doors, which one door, overnight fell off the runner. They have been back a couple times since then and have made the excuse of "it's within tolerances. Last Apr a rep came out and put the door on track again which left a gap and one corner, that was not there prior to. I set up another appointment for 0800 that they were 1 1/2 hours late for with no notification, when the rep arrived he was rude and very condescending. Making up excuses for everything, even asking if the concrete was level. Finally telling me it was 4 days over warranty and that I had to pay the additional 124.00 lube service for the door that wasn't requested. At that point I told them to leave, one individual started walking to the truck, the other did not. He stood under the door I was trying to roll down as in a challenge, I guess. I then stated; If you don't want to get hit by the door, I recommend you move. I had to tell them twice to leave before they did. He slowly backed up and they got in their truck and hastily backed out my drive. I then called the company and asked to speak to the manager, the lady that answered the call said when he got off another call, she would have him call me back--which he has never returned my call. Most of the reviews on this company are pretty good--maybe I got one of their guys on a bad day. In accordance with Texas Penal Code 30.05 this could have turned out different with criminal trespass, especially after I told them a couple times to leave and they refused. Coming from a 28 year veteran, I would expect more from a company with Veteran in the actual name... By no means am I bashing this company, but in my experiences with them--they have all been (Not so Good). FYI--office staff have been extremely nice, Manager--haven't spoken with him yet because he hasn't returned my call. read more

Fast install of two garage doors for my neighbor. A few months later, the anchor bracket on the garage header started to come loose, threatening to drop the track onto the floor - or people, or any vehicle parked in the garage. On inspection, I found that the two lag bolts had MISSED the 2x4 header almost completely and the bracket was being held by drywall. Neighbor called Veterans and asked for a fix for this DEFECTIVE INSTALLATION. Their response: it's a $150.00 service call. Not their fault - it's a kit. Really? It's a kit that their service tech installed incompetently and UNSAFELY. Took me all of 5 minutes to shift the bracket and drive slightly longer lag bolts into the header for a solid install. Being a Vietnam-era vet, and having recommended this company to my neighbor, I expected some kind of pride in their craftsmanship. At least an acceptance of responsibility for a defective install. Wrong again. Won't be recommending them any more. read more

We have had our gate opener for years with no problems. Then a lightning strike fried the circuit. They came out, saw the problem, fixed it and reprogrammed our remotes. Then a couple months later it quit They came back out on the coldest, wettest day and fixed it the next day. Excellent service and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks y'all! read more

Dont deal with this company. I chose them because I'm military and I thought I would be supporting a local military oriented business. It took a long time for this company to even come look at my broken garage door. Over a week, my garage door was broke in the open position. I should have taken that as a sign. I went into the office to pick out a new door and they have a bulldog running around the office. It was mostly friendly but my small children were with me and they were afraid of it which made it hard to complete my transaction. I picked out my garage and was told as soon as I paid a certain percentage that they could order my door. I had to work with my insurance since they were paying for everything over $1000. The insurance company couldn't get them to answer their questions and ended up taking my word for the type of door I was having replaced. They said it would take 2-3 weeks for the delivery. Then once they had it in town they would call me to install it. The next week I paid for my door in full. Well over a month later my garage door arrived. I called and asked about it every week. I was getting to the point where I was calling them everyday. The installers show up with the wrong color door. They were very professional. They started to call the company to see what they should do but I told them to install the door because I didn't want to wait another month for a new door. They did a great job installing it. Once they left I called the company to see what could be done. They said they would order the door that I wanted at first. I asked if they could purchase some paint so that I could just paint it. They told me yes. I went to let to paint store know that the company would be coming by to pay for items that I needed to paint my own garage door that I paid $1500 for. The company still hasn't gone by to pay for the paint. Its been well over 2 months since this whole thing happened. I AM ONE UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!! Don't do business with this company. I believe the owner Kirk is shady shady shady. Find someone else. read more

Their customer service is terrible and when you have finally had enough of their run around tactics and ask for your money back the owner will just scream at you and say you can't have your money back.
