They will take your money and not return phone calls upon move out…read more They moved someone into my rental before the lease was up so they collected rent from 2 individuals for 10 days. I have sent them a certified letter for invoices from all of the deductions they subtracted and also 10 days of prorated rent. The house was filthy when we moved in. I had black bare feet within an hour of walking around on the plastic wood floors. But, I left in in better condition when I left than when we moved it. Their septic system was backed up 3 months after we moved in but I also got blamed for this. I have never had a plastic q-tip in my household ever.. but when the tank over flowed with blue plastic q-tips and a ton of baby wipes (my kids are 13 & 18 we haven't had a baby wipe in over a decade) we were yelled at and blamed by the actual owner who came to take care of the repair. Pretty sure that's the "septic" repair. But we will see what receipts the send me for proof. I will update this with any follow ups I receive from the slumlords of Canyon Lake.
