I stayed here for a short time while doing some sightseeing in the Cleveland area and I had a nice stay at this hotel while I was here. What was even better was that I stayed here entirely for free since a have a ton of Hilton Honors membership points. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, and the landscaping and grounds here are pleasant and well maintained. There are a small number of parking spaces in the front of the hotel for handicapped people and for diamond members of Hilton, and the majority of parking for their guests is on the sides and in the back of the hotel. As I checked in I was greeted by two ladies who were both professional and friendly. They greeted me kindly and gave me a key to my reserved room. Upon entering my room, I was immediately pleased. It was clean, nicely decorated, and well organized. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was a sofa/chair in the room that reminded me of a chair you would sit in as you see your psychiatrist. Although this was a little funny, it was incredibly comfortable to sit in while watching TV. In my hotel room there was a small refrigerator, a nice TV, a hairdryer, a small/personal coffee maker, an iron and ironing board, and all the things that you would expect to see in a hotel. Unfortunately, there was no microwave in my hotel room, which was disappointing because I use a microwave daily. There is a microwave available in the lobby for their customers, but this is an inconvenient option if you use a microwave frequently. My room was quiet and enjoyable, and I felt safe during my stay. I really liked the bathroom layout as well, which was well decorated and very clean. While staying here I really enjoyed the free breakfast in the mornings, which was well-stocked with lots of good options. I was also appreciative that this hotel offers a selection of free coffee options throughout the day, which is a must for a true java-head like me. My check out was smooth. The young lady that checked me out was friendly, but I did think it was a little unprofessional to see her snacking on the free hotel breakfast while checking me out. Overall, I enjoyed my time while staying in this hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was very clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and the pillows were great. The bathroom while being very clean, had a dated tub, and could use a refresh. Front desk staff was absolutely amazing and kind. The cafe staff were sweet and helpful, although it was unfortunate that nothing was available except for Starbucks and the quick serve. I had arrived hungry, and had to order Uber eats for lunch. That in itself is not an issue, I might have done so anyway. The fitness center is small, but very well equipped to get in a nice workout. Full selection of free weights, a weight bench and elliptical, peloton, and two treadmills. I would absolutely stay here again if I was in the area, it's conveniently located to plenty of nice restaurants for a night out, also.

Unbelievable, the front desk staff wore a teddy bear oversized blanket/ shirt to work in! The same woman told me there were complaints about my family being in the pool area. I want people to know how some guests are being specifically targeted and taken advantage of because they have a disability. My friend's husband has a disability and a couple of staff members targeted him and tried to exploit him for money. Here's a brief synopsis of what happened. A couple of the housekeeping staff requested my friend's husband's cell phone number suggesting that they wanted to be able to assist him when he needed. Then they tried to exploit him by offering to sell him hotel products, ie, towels, shampoo, body wash, etc. One of the Housekeepers offered sex and sent explicit photos to encourage financial support. In addition, this housekeeper also sought financial support for a drug habit. Hotel supervisors and a hotel administrator minimized the complaints, addressing the behaviors demonstrated by housekeeping staff when presented with the information, except for the housekeeper that sent explicit pictures. That issue was addressed, but the other behaviors exhibited by a few of the housekeepers didn't appear to be relevant to the hotel administrator. He simply didn't want to hear it.

There was toothpaste and dried spit on the sink in the bathroom, ring around the tub with hair, totally not cleaned and tried to take off shoes and we stuck to the floor! Had to walk in flip flops in the room! Just used it to crash and I had been getting continual text messages with a confirmation # and I didn't check in till I was done with my first clinic trip and attempted to give this to Lurch the night guy and he pushed my phone away from him as I have throat cancer and couldn't speak loud so I was trying to show him my confirmation # and he was rude, they refused to give me Cleveland clinic discount because I wasn't a choice member and hadn't stayed since 2013! I never stayed there at all till 2016 and the choice rewards was under my former husbands name and phone number and they wouldn't take it even tho it's my membership but had to be in his name because of the name on the card. Went down for breakfast and I attempted to make a waffle and I don't like mine totally brown as the timer is set and the attendant basically come and smacked my hand and told me to let it cook and asked me what was I doing? It's just so sad to see such a descent place for Cleveland clinic patients to stay and also in 2016 the pool was inoperable, in 2025 the pool was still inoperable and covered with black mold and that's your view from the eating area!

This Comfort Inn is ideally located for anyone coming to the National Park. It sits close to the north entrance, less than ten minutes from the northern visitor center, with most main features of the large park less than a half hour drive away. On one of our days here, our outdoor activities were rained out. We impromptu-decided to go to the Cleveland Museum of Art instead, which we were happy to discover was only about a 25 minute drive from this hotel. So Cleveland city attractions are reasonable drive from here too, if you are in the area for that reason. Regarding the hotel itself, we had a good experience here. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The facilities were bright and clean. Our room was a standard Double/Double. The room wasn't huge, but spacious enough for our fam' of four. The bathroom had a large glass shower. The shower door was heavy and didn't slide easy. But the shower itself was clean and hot. This Comfort Inn has a nice seasonal outdoor pool that our kids enjoyed very much during the hot days of our trip. Another nice feature of this Comfort Inn is they sell alcohol at the front desk, something I haven't seen at many other Choice locations. Single-serve wines, bottles of beer, and an assortment of liquor minis ran about $4 each. One qualm about this hotel is there doesn't appear to be any Queen/Queen rooms available at all. We are longtime Choice Privileges loyalty club members, and I picked this location for the pool and proximity to our attractions of interest. But a double-bed is a hard sell for the hubbs and I, as we both like to splay out like frogs when we sleep, haha. It's too bad they don't have any Queen/Queen options for families here. Overall we were pleased with this Comfort Inn. It is a two-minute drive to many dining options, both sit-down and drive-thru, and in a great location for visiting tourist destinations in the Cleveland area, particularly the National Park. I would stay here again, especially in the summer when the kids can enjoy the nice outdoor pool area.

Upon me entering the hotel I was somewhat greeted by Brittany who never followed the 15/5 rule. Brittany asked? "What brings you in today?" I replied by saying "It's my son's 15th birthday and we decided to come here as a family with a few friends to celebrate." Brittany replied by saying "Well don't leave him alone". I was caught completely off guard and I said, "Of course I wouldn't leave him alone." Brittany's statement bothered me so much that when I went to the room to take our belongings, I expressed my concerns to my daughter that I was offended and needed to say something. I went to the lobby and told Brittany that I was offended by her statement of me leaving my child alone. Brittany says, "well people do it all the time!" This was very offensive also as just because "people" do it does not mean it is ok for you to judge and think that I will also. A few hours pass and we go to dinner for my son's birthday celebration in Westlake Ohio which is about a 45 minute commute to the hotel. My daughter who is 20 decided to leave and head back to the hotel with my son and his friend. I stayed back to wait for boxes and my tab and said that I would be headed back soon. As I am in route to the hotel from dinner, I get a call from my daughter who at this time had been back to the hotel for maybe 20 minutes. My daughter Layviell says "Brittany sent the security guard to the room because you left your ID at the front desk." I call Brittany at the front desk to tell her I am in route and as soon as she answers she says "hello?" (Improper). I say "hello???" (Is this Residence Inn?). Brittany proceeds to say "You have to come get your ID!....See this is what I was talking about!!! You left your son unattended!!!!" I proceed by saying "How did I leave my son unattended and my daughter is an adult?" Brittany says, "Well I am calling the police." (My reservation was for 4 children and 2 adults in which 1 adult and 4 children were in the hotel room during this time.) Once Brittany told me that police were headed to my young adults who are again 20 and 15 years of age. I began to speed to try to get to the hotel because I am scared at this point not knowing how this situation is going to go because my children have never had to be in a situation to this capacity with police officers. The police got there before me of course and made my children very uncomfortable and nervous. Everyone was escorted out of the room by the time I arrived. I go to the front desk and ask to speak with Brittany and was immediately told that Brittany was no longer there. Brittany was Indeed there and hiding in the back room. My boyfriend and I asked Phyllis, John and the security guard what was the reason for us being evicted and they all said they had no clue. I am not sure how someone is evicted with no reason. Brittany made fictitious police report due to her being coerced to act out someone's prejudices and/or her own personal bias. Brittany was nasty from the time I entered until the time she had me removed. Brittany ruined my son's 15th birthday and made this such a traumatic experience for all of us. Caused so much stress and anxiety within those few hours. Due to us being removed with no explanation I decided to go back on 12/9 to get my questions answered, my concerns heard and to ask when I would receive a refund. Upon my entrance Brittany refused to service me by locking the doors to the lobby. I immediately picked up the phone and she answered. I asked why she locked the door as I only wanted answers to the questions that I had. Brittany proceeded to say, "This is not Brittany this is Tiffany." I asked, "So why are you locking the door?". Brittany then acts like the phone is out of order and proceeds to hang up. Since this situation occurred, I have reached out to Marriott's customer service and have not able to talk to anyone with any resolve. I also spoke with General manager Anthony who said that he would call me back and have not heard back from him either as my concerns continue to go unheard. I finally received an email back stating that the general manager said we were evicted due to smoking, a party going on in room and me leaving children left unattended. There was no party as there were less people than my reservation stated and there were no children left unattended as my daughter is 20 years old. This situation saddens me that it is ok for Marriott and their employees to mistreat loyal customers. I am currently in process of filing federal complaint. My son is now deceased and that was his last bday and this is the memory that we have left on the last memorable bday.

A few days before my arrival, I called a couple of times to check if early check-in would be possible. When I arrived in the morning, I was greeted by Mark, who was extremely friendly and welcoming. Without any hassle, he allowed me to check in early, which I truly appreciated. Later, when I realized I had forgotten to bring body lotion, I went back to ask Mark, and he generously provided me with a couple of bottles without hesitation--such great service! The room was nice and clean, with a little kitchen that made my stay even more comfortable. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great variety--croissants, bagels, English muffins, bread, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, waffles, and, of course, coffee. I loved it! At checkout, Bernetta (apologies if I misspelled your name) was also very kind and helpful, making the departure process just as smooth as my arrival. Overall, my stay was a 5-star experience. I hope future guests have just as great a visit as I did! I'll be traveling to Cleveland more often for business and will definitely be booking here again.
